I cannot get a History list earlier than today; no yesterday, one week, etc.

The drop-down no longer offers Yesterday, One week ago... Only Today. I suppose I could try uninstalling/reinstalling.
I'm running Firefox 3.6.18, as my 1-Click Weather [from Weather.com] won't operate on the latest generation - of course, another problem...

In Safari, open your Preferences, go to Advanced and check the "Show Develop menu in the menu bar"
This will add a new menu at the top.
Go to the Develop menu, User Agent and select a different choice which allows Safari to spoof different browsers, OSs and devices.
Selecting Safari for iPad usually works.
However, the choice is page specific. it doesn't stick if you go to another page, you need to repeat the procedure again.

Is there a way to collapse the library history view so instead of seeing individual entries they are all grouped by Today, Yesterday, This Week, etc.?

In a previous version of Firefox, when I brought up history using Ctrl+Shift+H, the library would show my history collapsed into Today, Yesterday, This Week, etc. In the current version of Firefox I am using, it shows each individual entry. Is there a way to change this view?

There are two panes one on the left one on the right.
*The right-hand one shows content of folders from the tree on the left.
*Clicking the black arrow-head on the clock denoting the top of the History collapses or expands that part of the tree.
*Clicking the clock itself displays the top content on the right i.e. it will display the folders for Today etc.
*Click any folder and the content of that folder then displays on the right.If you have used the browser quite a bit you probably need to scroll the righthand pane to see all the content.
The bookmarks are also within folders that behave in a similar manner. With certain viewing options you will even see that type of behaviour when looking at some Windows files and folders.

Cannot get Toolbar with FF4 other than by pressing Alt button, have tried all methods suggested, also cannot get it to open in Safe Mode.

Since downloading FF4 to replace 3.1.6 I cannot get the Toolbar other than by pressing the Alt button and whilst this shows the toolbar it will not stay. I have followed the Firefox instructions, other than opening in Safe Mode which it will not do either ,none of which have cured the problem. I am using Vista, with Trend Anti Virus and also have IE8 which is working OK.

On iPhone 5, cannot get iCal calendar List to appear

iPhone 5: IOS 7.1
Since installing the latest 7.1, found that when I open iCal, and click on the search icon at the top right of the window, the keyboard comes up but with the month showing. On top of the month is a gray transparent overlay. The List will not appear. When I type an "L" on the keyboard, only a few of the listings appear. There is nothing I can do to get my entire list to appear. I have pressed the Home and OFF/ON button to reboot the iPhone with no success. Any suggestions?

TS2972 I have the ID between computer and apple TV the same, I've changed the pasword and still cannot get the two to share. They stopped sharing a week ago. Best to simply unplug and start again?

Does anybody know why my home sharing would stop and I cannot get the Apple TV to recognise the ID or possibly the password? Nothing was changed and it stopped. Now I've done everything including new apple ID and password but it still wont connect.

I don't use netflix yet on mine but the slow startup I might be able to help. I just restarted mine and in maybe 5 seconds is restarted.
If you have a lot of programs running in the background that may be causing the slow start or shutdown. To close those running programs, 4 finger upto get to the running programs and to close them, tap one and hold for a second and flip upwards,, it will go off the top of the screen, closing it. Do this with all that you want closed, there will only be the main screen you can't close that will be left.
I also shut off location services, Bluetooth and under safari there a use data option which for some reason turned on but I could have clicked yes somewhere and those got turned on, but I turned them off since I don't need them on.
Then try a restart.

Okay. I hope I can remeber all my steps exactly because I fixed my own problem...with absolutely no help from Apple. I opened itunes. I connected my ipod touch to my computer. On my itunes page that shows my songs in the upper right side under the search library box there is an itunes button and since I am connected there is an ipod button. DO NOT CLICK THE ARROW in the ipod button...just click in the mail part of the button. On mine it opened to a summary page that gave info on my ipod. The menu bar has Summary, Apps, Tones, Music and more. I clicked on the Music button. I chose to Sync the entire music library. That replaced what was on my ipod but what was on there was going to be put back on so I was okay with it. I then clicked the Sync button on the lower right side and it sync'd and all my songs are on my ipod again. I hope this might help someone else. Good luck.

unfortunately i'm not familiar with bitdefender - there's a general instruction on how to deal with slow internet speed at http://www.bitdefender.com/support/my-internet-is-slow-1100.html - though i'm not sure if this also applies to your situation. otherwise you can also contact the bitdefender support for assistance on how to properly configure their program so that firefox won't get blocked. there's also a chat option on their support page...

Your iPad is likely stuck in in VoiceOver mode. Try triple-clicking the home button or connecting your iPad to iTunes on your computer. You can disable VoiceOver in iTunes from the iPad's summary page by scrolling down to the Options box and clicking on Configure Accessibility.

Mail 4.5 not showing any dates other than "Today" and "Yesterday"

All of my mail messages are dates 5-01-13 except thos that are "Yesterday" ort "today. The settings in my System Preferences are correct and all other programs are O.K. Only mail seems to be the problem. Any ideas?

I'm also having this exact problem. I have Mail 6.6 running on Macbook air 11" OS X 10.8.
All the emails apart from today and yesterdays show the date as 05-01-2013 in the top right hand corner of the mail window scroll list, i.e. date in blue. Only when you click on a specific email to show the whole conversation/message does it then show the correct date and time in the top right hand corner of the message window.
Any ideas anyone?? So annoying when trying to search for emails!

I have used IE and Chome and both I get my igoogle page with the theme I have selected. I use to get Firefox with my theme on it. Then it changed and I could not. I contacted you, I went per instructions and deleted cookies, cache etc. and followed directions. Something I did worked. Now it is gone again. I followed some other question answers and put setup for Firefox 4.0.1 and then deleted Mozilla and then re-installed. That did not work. Now I am reading about Avast Webrep and all these other brainy people's answers which worked for them but I don't even know where to find these and I have not Firefox button or ability to go to extensions. I am so tired of this that I went back, downloaded IE 9 and Google Chrome. I got the theme on both again, even though I had completely uninstalled them as I was going to be a Mozilla person. Well now I just don't know and it has happened twice and I don't know how I fixed it to begin with.
