I cannot get my iPhone3 to sync playlists. If I create the play list on my iPhone, when I sync the playlist is deleted. If I create te playlist on iTunes, when I sync, it will not transfer to my iPhone. Help!

And they were definitely purchased from the iTunes store, they show on the account's purchase history (Store > View Account on a computer's iTunes, or you can view the last 90 days purchases via http://reportaproblem.apple.com) ?
You could potentially log into the account on that computer's iTunes (Store > Sign Out to log out of your account, that will then change to a Store > Sign In option) and redownload them by clicking on the id towards the top right of the iTunes screen and Purchased on the popup :

Or do you have a different computer that you could redownload them on and then copy them over to that computer via a flash drive or memory card, and then add them to its iTunes via File > Add To Library ?

- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.

Idk what this means

You cannot drag a song to Touch. It forces you to be organized. Make a list in itunes then drag that list to the Touch icon in the side bar. That should work.

Iphone not recognized by itunes and my safari also will not open??? Help??

I bought an iphone and synced it. When unplugging it, I realized all my apps I downloaded were gone off the iphone (I did find them in the itunes folder however) but the issue is, my Safari and my itunes program will NOT open. They bounce once and that is it, never opens. No errors, nothing. I have been going insane trying to figure out what the problem is. Anyone else have this issue?

Hi everyone, hoping someone out there can help...
I recently purchased a new iPhone 5s, transferred (everything, so i thought) from my old iPhone 4. The switch was made by Verizon but i have now noticed that not all of text messages transferred (they stop sometime in 2012). I am one that will refer back to old messages for reference, so it is impotant to me to have them. I have tried again and again syncing through iTunes without success. Any suggestions on how to recover these text messages?

The best way to do this is through icloud. Enable icloud on old phone and manually back up. Reset new phone to factory settings and on welcome walk through choose "restore from iCould backup" this puts your voicemails, texts, contacts, apps, settings, etc. on to your new device.

I just updated my itunes software and my song will not transfer to the ipod. I tryed a new port but tha seems unlikly because itunes does reconize the ipod it just will not update the songs. I restarted the ipod that did not work so i updated the installed software and refreshed the ipod noe I have no songs because it wiped out the ones that were there from the old sync. Ive had the same problem and I restored my i-pod then when i hooked up the i-pod it said it was full and asked If I wanted it to select a few songs to put on, i clicked yes thinking It meant it would just put my selected songs on but then it put 675 songs out of the library on when i only have 67 checked. they play wether tehyre checked in the Library or not, is there any way to fix this?

Saturday Night Live - Gilda Radner will not transfer!

I purchased most of the Saturay Night Live videos tonight, and all downloaded without a problem. They all copied over to my 60GB 5th Gen iPod, except for "The Best of Gilda Radner". I get an error that "Some videos were not copied, including "The Best of Gilda Radner" because this file cannot be played on this iPod" (Or something to this effect).
The video won't transfer.... i can play the video in iTunes for windows, but it will not transfer to my iPod. Has anyone else had a problem with this file?
I'm using the latest iTunes for Windows, and I have put over 150 videos on there already with no problems - just this one!
Any way to FORCE it onto the iPod? Manually dragging it over wouldn't work either.
Since I SPECIFICALLY bought these videos to watch on the iPod, I asked for a refund (11.99!) This was the one I REALLY wanted to watch ont he way to work tomorrow!

The first email did not address our/my issue because they thought I had trouble downloading the video. I sent a reply back to them explaining my issue again and this time they got it right. I don't know what happened. I plugged in the phone today (like I have done just about every day) to sync and charge and the movie transferred this time. I have no idea what changed between now and last night. I haven't even rebooted either the phone or computer. Go figure. As Gilda Radner once famously said on SNL as Rosanne Rosanadana, "Nevermind".
