I cannot get my pictures from my computer to unsync off of my phone.
I've tried to unsync my pictures from my computer off of my phone multiple times but they just won't seem to come off. I've done it multiple times and don't really know what to do at this point. It is taking up so much of my storage I need them to be removed but can't seem to find another way to do so other than itunes (which isn't working). Any one have any ideas?
Hold both the Sleep/Wake (Lock) button and Home button simultaneously until the ipad restarts. Release the buttons when you see the apple logo. Your iPad will start up without that annoying message.
To prevent it happening again, i might suggest turning iCloud backup off if you're not using it

Some times it needs to remove all apps from multitasking before you make the Reset.

It sounds like you are wanting to update the Apps that were synced over from your computer to your new iPhone 5s. If you are clicking Updates in the App Store in the bottom right corner, would you mind clarifying what happens when you are trying to update them?

Then there is absolutely no way to get the pictures from the iPod to the iPad unless you import them to your computer and then import them inor iTunes and sync them to the iPad.

I bought a book on itunes on my pc. I want the book on my ipad. When I plugged in my ipad to sync it moved all my apps to my pc - useless. how do i get my apps back on my ipad and get the book from my computer to my ipad?

and in the accompanying documents linked from that page. Syncing your iPad with iTunes copies items, it doesn't move them. The only way apps would be actually removed from your iPad during syncing is if you had iTunes set to remove them on syncing, so check the appropriate settings in iTunes, set the book to sync as well, and then sync the iPad again.

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

I want to temporarily put pictures that I took from another camera that's on my desktop into my IPAD so I can carry it to another location and show off my pictures to friends and family?Connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you want more control over your photos (e.g. being able to sort them directly on the iPad and delete synced photos) then there are third-party photo apps such as Photo Manager Pro. -
when i try to install snow leopard with install disk, it has me restart the computer instead of installing. can anyone help me figure out how to get the disk to actually install?
Ok, it's just a glitch that it's not auto-rebooting from the disk.
Please backup your personal files off the machine to a regualr external drive and disconnect all drives before doing anything
Take the 10.6 disk out and clean and polish the bottom with a very soft clean cloth and a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol to cut the oils.
Stick the disk in and reboot holding c key down, this will make it boot from the disk and you can install Snow Leopard that way. -
Cannot eject the start-up disk from my PowerBook G4 (laptop). Can anyone help me? My screen is blank too, that's why I'm using the start-up disk.
MacBook Pro (17-inch 2.4 GHz), Mac OS X (10.7.4)Try holding down the trackpad button while starting up the PowerBook. Holding down mouse button during start up ejects the disc in the optical drive, so I'm guessing it would work the same with the button the the trackpad.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
If 10.7.0 or later...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partitirion & use Disk Utility from there.
