I cannot get playlists to Sync on my iPhone 5
Can anyone out there HELP???? My daughter has an iPhone 5. She has created playlists on iTunes but when she syncs her phone the playlists WILL NOT copy over to her phone. We have tried everything and are at a loss. Any suggestions??? Thank you
I'm having a similar problem. None of my music from my CDs is syncing and it gets stuck on the "waiting for changes to be applied" stage. It's also rendered some music already on my iPod unplayable, but not deleted it. It just skips through it quickly when I click on it.
I don't have many suggestions for help, none have worked for me, but some people say maybe try and restore from a past back up? It could iron out any bugs in the newest updates. Didn't work for me, but worked for others. If you look through the fourm though, you'll find loads od people with similar problems to ours and more problems. Apple really need to sort there sh*t out.

I cannot get iBooks to sync between my iPhone 4 & IPad
After reinstalling iBooks on my iPhone and iPad, I still cannot get them to sync between one another via ios5. Syncing is even on in settings on both devices.

I have downloaded ringtones to my iPad but cannot get them to sync to my iPhone
I have downloaded several ringtone and text tones to my iPad but they do not copy over to my iPhone. Would appreciate advice on how to put this right please.

I purchased a new iMac, I have an old iPod mini I am trying to sync my iTunes library on my new Mac with my iPod. I purchsed additional music yesterday but I cannot get it to sync to load the music from my computer to my iPod.

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs. -
I recently purchased a Windows 8 laptop and istalled Office 2013. I then installed iTunes. After moving all my music to my new PC I got iTunes to import it, and then synced it to my iPod (3rd gen.) However, I cannot get iTunes to sync my Outlook Calendar or Contacts with my iPod. When I try it crashes Outlook. iTunes continues to try to sync, but when it finishes my Calendar and Contents are empty (ERASED!). I have de-installed and re-installed iTunes (according to Apple's instructions), repaired Office 2013 and Outlook, scanned for viruses (etc), cleaned out temp folders, defragmented, etc., etc., etc. Has anyone seen this before, and does anyone know houw to fix it? (HELP!)
Well, I guess I have to download some other software to make my apple product work. Really great stuff you guys sell. I will never buy another apple product. My Iphone, Ipod and Itunes are junk

I downloaded Itunes for 64 bit OS windows. Bought a shuffle, downloaded music to computer, but cannot get shuffle to sync. Looked at FAQS it says to go to "DEVICES" on Itunes store, but I don't even see that anywhere. Can someone help?
Where did you download it from and how ? If you downloaded it from the ibookstore in the iBooks app then it should be on the bookshelf back in the iBooks app (tap the Library button at the top left of the store if you are still in it). Only ibooks that you buy from the ibookstore or your computer's iTunes will show in the cloud for redownloading in the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app (and they will only show there whilst they remain in your country's store).
If you were using a site on Safari then unless you specified an app to download it into then it will only be in Safari's cache and will you won't be able to access it. If you did buy it via Safari then depending upon the site that you bought/downloaded it from then it might have digital rights management on it that will tie it to that store's apps/ereaders - if the site has its own app in the app store then download that and you might be able to download the book directly in it.

I cannot get iCloud to sync my mac reading list (bookmarks).
I cannot get iCloud to sync my mac reading list (bookmarks) with my iPad and have tried several times unsuccessfully. Have had it connected to a power source AND have enabled the documents section on the iCloud backup. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to upgrade to Lion?
I have installed and signed in to sync on both PC and Android tablet. My history has been synced but bookmarks have not come across to the tablet, although the appropriate box is ticked on both.
I tried entering about:sync-progress on both machines. "Setup Complete" appears on the PC but on the tablet I am told that the address isn't valid.
The sync tab that opens up lists my "Firefox Account" with no option to manage or disconnect.
How can I get round this? -
I have a 80gb ipod classic and i cannot get it to sync anymore since I updated my itunes. Does anyone have any suggestions on what i should do?
Does the device show up in Windows Explorer when connected?
Have you tried going into Control Panel > Programs & Features > iTunes > Repair?
Have you proved the cable with a different device, or the device's connectivity with a different computer?

CanNOT get my itunes movies onto my iPhone...
I've tried every conceivable sync. These are not rentals but purchased TV shows.
What happened was - I am leaving on a business trip so with the iphone all synced up - I attached it to my laptop and synced so I would have the tv shows on the laptop - I only have 3 out of my 5 authorized copies at this point.
I had a weird die on my iPhone and then since my restore - I have it on my laptop and my desktop but no matter what I try I cannot get the movies back on my iPhone - go into the setting select all and selected episodes but nothing works.
Any suggestions? In a few hours I'll only have my laptop.

The free movie is a free movie found under iTunes home page under movies, at the end there is a short list of free movies, I chose one for a test. It is not a TV Show.

Hello, I was able to get the greyed out circles to stop by updating to the newest software for the phone and itunes. I'm sure you have already tried that though. However, I now have a new problem. Itunes shows certain albums on the phone in the window but they don't appear on the phone at all. They even play on iTunes from the phone. Were you able to find a solution to your problem? I'd really appreciate some help as this is getting old...

My apple ID password works for all of my devices but one. i only have one account and have changed the password several times but still cannot get it to work on my iPhone. any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks for the suggestion, Chris. I actually did not resolve the issue which is why i did not post an answer.
it turns out that my iphone seems to default to an incorrect User ID (it defaults to an @me account, which is not something that i have ever used).
even when i change the User ID in my settings for the iTunes store, it still appears when i attempt to get updates for my existing apps. however, it does seem to use the correct ID when i attempt to purchase new apps.
If someone actually had an answer to correct this, i would love to update my existing apps.

Hi,everyone. I cannot get any phone call when my iphone is sleeping ( or locked ). After I active my phone, it will show how many call I missed. Does anyone have the same problem with mine? I tried reset, update software, but still not working.
to put your iPhone to sleep follow these steps:
1) press the sleep button once - screen will go dark and you'll hear a click.
2) press home button once - screen will light up with your wallpaper in the background, time, date, etc.
3) DO NOTHING for five (or so) seconds and then your iPhone will sleep.
if you receive a call, iPhone will wake automatically. otherwise to wake the iPhone, press the home button - iphone will wake. slide the unlock bar (enter pass code, if enabled) and use.
to return to sleep mode, repeat sequence (1 through 3)
doing this will allow calls to come through while Iphone is asleep and prolong the battery charge exponentially. -

The device you are trying to pair with must be in pairing (discoverable) mode. You can not pair with other mobile phones or computers (except for tethering).

I lost my iphone and I use the locate iphone function to wipe to protect my information, but I cannot get the location to restore my iphone, can I request a permanent lock to prevent the thief from using it?, I call your call centre, your staff said they can do nothing, I am great disappointed as your advertisment said that we can protect our phone from lost, however, I think my phone has now been resale and reuse by others, but Apple cannot do anything with your so call "Find my iphone" function, I have brought 4 iphone and iPad for my family use, I will never use your product again and recommend to my company or friends anymore!

Preserving Folder Structure when Exporting?--A question
A very simple need that I have: I have a Folder in IPhoto on my laptop, left over from a recent trip. The Folder is organized into ten "Albums, which are trip segments. All I want to do is to Export [or Copy] this Folder on an external hard drive, fo
