I cannot get Premiere CS5 to render. i still have CS3 on my computer and it works fine.  what to do?

i have recently installed Adobe CS5 on my computer.  working in Premiere this week i cannot
get the project to render.  the dialogue box opens and then nothing happens.  i still have CS3 on my computer
so i tried it and yes it renders just fine.  should i unistall CS5 and install again or is there a known issue?

Paralling the old "don't quit your day job", I'd keep CS3. It's the only version of
Premiere that's been stable enough to meet production deadlines, at least for me. These newer versions have been a big waste of time, as they only work on
some hypothetical dream PCs that Adobe tests on, not in the real world, as far as I can tell.
I have CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5 working and stable on various machines and have never failed to meet any deadlines.
Absolutely nothing special or "hypothetical dream machines" about what I use.  They were built simple, clean  and straight forward.
I have never tried an "off the shelf" box though" ... and never would.

    Talk to your service provider. There may be a problem either with your service plan, or their data service.
    Other than that, you can reboot the iPhone and see if that clears it.
    Hold down on the home and power/sleep buttons together until the Apple logo shows up. may take 10 to 15 seconds.
    No data should be lost.

I've always been connected to WiFi when at home so I checked my phone and the WiFi button is grayed out - I can't turn it on.     Your Wifi chip failed.  You'll need to bring your phone to Apple.  If you're not under warranty any longer, you will pay $199 for an out of warranty replacement.

  • Cannot send or receive email from laptop or desktop using icloud.  Iphone and ipad work fine.

    My mail server on my laptop and on my desktop are basically useless.  My ipad and iphone seem to be working fine. 

    The laptop seems to have been fixed by the fix listed.  My desktop, however, still is unable to receive or send mail.

    My recommendation would be to contact Adobe, since they have the ability to walk you through some troubleshooting steps. But it looks like they've already thrown it to us!
    1) Have you manually gone to Windows Update and ensured you have even the non-critical updates (which can include important drivers)?
    2) Have you manually gone to the ATI or nVidia sites and ensured you have the latest drivers for your graphics card?
    3) Have you cleaned your temp files and defragmented your drive(s)?
    4) Have you ensured that the program's licensing has not corrupted? http://forums.adobe.com/thread/542377
    Finally, you say the program won't launch. At what point does it fail? Do you get a Welcome Screen? Does it only fail when you try to open yesterday's project or does it also fail if you try to start a new project?
    Another other details you can provide could also be helpful including: How fast your processor is, how much RAM you have, how much free, clean defragmented space is on your hard drive(s) and if you are editing on your C drive or if you have your media and project files on another drive.

    Trying launching Premiere while holding down Alt until it launches. This trashes your preferences, which often become corrupt and will prevent Premiere from launching correctly. You will have to reset your keyboard shortcuts, so hopefully you have them saved.
    Also launching premiere while holding down shift+Alt will both trash your preferences and you plug-in cache, what ever that is.

    PPro CS5 is 64bit ONLY and there is NO WAY to make it run on a 32bit operating system

    I just went through this same process.... I changed my credit card, double checked billing info, changed my password, I restored my phone, but the misake I made was I kept restoring it from my back up.... Finally I went to Apple Store.. and sad to say that you have to do a restore, and DO NOT restore from back up.
    I used Gmail so I didnt loose contacts or email.. but I did loose all my text messages and history of that.
    So, I had the EXACT same problem and it was a software issue.. you have to restore your phone to factory settings and start all over.. BLOWS I know!

    Mov is a container format, you'd need to look at the codec used by the movie file inside the container to know whether it will work with the Apple TV or not.

    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

    Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
    This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

    Yes- it is a Mac. I went through adobes system requirements and re- downloaded supportive software. The notice seems to happen near the end of the down load with the messages above. I'll look into your suggestion. Thank you- appreciated.
