I cannot get the login screen on Creative Cloud.

When I open Creative Cloud, the screen is just blank, i.e. no where can I input my Email and password.  What can i do?  I have tried uninstalling Creative Cloud and then reinstalling it.  That did not work.

Ever since I updated InDesign CC (2014) approximately 22 days ago... I CANNOT get the welcome screen to not come on at the launch on InDesign. I set the preferences in InDesign to NOT show the welcome screen upon launch, but it will NOT hold the preferences i choose. Anyone else have any other ideas? I am about to lose my mind... I hate you ADOBE!!!

that s just the problem, that is why my level of frustration is boiling over ... I have told InDesign over and over again "Do Not Show Again" but it will just not hold the settings. It might hold it for a day or so, but then suddenly there it is again on another launch. Very very annoying.

  • Ix2 fails to respond, cannot get past login screen

I am having intermittent problems with my Iomega ix2 failing to respond. After some time being on the drive fails to respond. I cannot open any files through Windows explorer. If i attempt to connect using the web interface i cant get past the login screen. I put in my user name and password and hit enter. The page simply reloads the login screen. The only solution is to power the drive down using the button on the back of the unit. Powering it up it works fine. Eventually though this will happen again. It's happened a half dozen time or more in the last few days. Now I'm stuck out in the field and cannot access any files. Please help.

No. No errors in the event log of any kind other than the time sync error. I recently replaced one of the disks as it had failed. I receieved a warranty disk from Lenovo/Iomega about a month ago. i installed it and it rebuilt the RAID with no problems. This error has been happening since then. When the time sync error happens i get all kinds of strange behavior. SFTP, which is how I access the files, will start giving Goodsync 'cannt reach end of file error' type errors. Like I've mentioned before I also get an issue where the web login screen gets caught in a loop too. I type in the user name and the password, hit enter, and it just reloads the login screen again. Rebooting the device from the power button on the back is the only solution.

  • Cannot get past login screen

I cannot get past the login screen. I ran the disk utility to verify/repair my hard drive. The tool fixed a minor sequencing issue which resulted in a "The volume Macintosh HD appears to be ok. That did not fix the problem. Next, I tried booting in safe mode. I cannot. I'm thinking my next step is to reinstall the OS X from the Mac Utilities Suite. My fear is that it is going to erase my Hard Drive. True? Will performing this function erase my locally stored data (files, photos contained with iPhoto)?

    Start up in Safe Mode.

  • MBP running Mac OSX Leopard 10.5.8 cannot get past login screen even in safe boot

Help!  I have a Macbook Pro purchased in 2009, running Mac OSX Leopard 10.5.8 which froze while running Adobe Illustrator.  On reboot, it won't allow me to go past the login screen.  I tried starting up from the disc, running disk verification and repair and repairing disk permissions, and trying to start up in safe boot, all to no avail.  When the login screen comes up it gives the name of my hard drive with a (2) after it, which seems strange.  Any suggestions short of reinstalling the system software?  I don't want to lose my applications/data!

My 1 year old MBP running OSX has got more sluggish. The little multicolored spinning timer wheel keeps appearing a lot more now, and I hate it! My MBP takes drastically longer to boot when i turn it on as opposed to when I just got it. My web pages take a long time to load. Can anyone help me? WHat can I do to speed up my MBP. I am a novice mac user. Again my mac is getting slower by the day and i dont know how to increase its overall performance. Is there any simple software that can boost overall performance or will I have to reformat my MBP? I have a 200gb HD with 50 gb free and 4 gb of ram.
    Welcome to Apple's discussion groups.
Launch the Activity Monitor utility. Pull down the list near the top and set it to "All Processes". Click on the "CPU" column heading to put the highest CPU consumers at the top. Also click on the "CPU" tab in the lower part of the window to check the value for "% Idle". If that value is much above zero, check the other categories for signs of resource problems. If nothing there points to a possible problem, launch the Console utility and look for messages that might suggest a problem. If you see messages that you have trouble interpreting, post them here and someone should be able to help.

  • Not getting the option to install creative cloud. Only trial version or choose new plan

    Hi,
I'm trying to install Photoshop on a second computer. Problem is I can't find the installer for Creative Cloud. When I log in at adobe.com and go to products, all i get is the option to get a trial version or sign up for a new plan. It's like it thinks I'm not already on a plan.
Explicitly going to menu -> pc apps -> clicking the creative cloud icon takes me to the general creative cloud promotional page. I can't see any option to just install the creative cloud app.
Am I missing something? Seached the forums and all the replies just tell me to go to adobe.com/products and install.

    Oh, it was that simple?
Tried it and it worked just like you said. It's downloading now. Thank you so much!
Got to say that's a bit of baffling gui design. One would think a link to install Creative Cloud would be one of the main things needed for the account page on the website. Not only did I have to do something I didn't want to do (get the trial), but after installing the manager, it immediately started downloading and installing photoshop. I really hope it's not installing the trial version. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
Regardless, that solves this question. Again, thanks for the quick help. Have a nice day!
    /Alex

  • How do I hide or remove the "welcome" screen from Creative Cloud apps?

I hate "welcome" screens, which just get in my way and force me to get rid of them. These are only features when I can permanently dismiss them, yet with the latest update, I appear to be stuck with them. Is there anyway I can make them go away? Ideally, I'd like to do this globally, because I never, never, never want to see them again.

I'd like to know this too. Does this mean that it can't be disabled? That thing is so annoying. Please Help.

  • For some reason my iMac now goes straight to the login screen. I tried to change this in Preferences but Automatic Login isn't highlighted, so I'm unable change it from Off to On. Help please.

As you can see Off at the top of the pic is faint and I cannot find a way of getting to it to change it to On. If can change it to 'On' I presume I won't get the login screen/page after turning on the Mac??

So this was set to Automatic login and then it changed, correct?
What other changes did you make to the system, filevault, workgroup manager, something else?
If the lock is unlocked as you say then something else must have have changed to prevent this setting from being changed. Any information you can supply might lead to a solution.
    regards

}I'm thinking on using setVisible(false), but then again seeing that the login method isn't being used once you have a successful login, the dispose() method would be better. If you copy and paste my program, you'll clearly see my problem. Thanks.

  • Does the complete package of Creative Cloud (the one for students and teachers) include all the programs?

    Hi everyone!
I want to say sorry if this question sounds very obvious, but I did not see if Adobe Acrobat Pro is included is this package, I will appreciate if anyone could answer this question. Thank you very much.
    Kind regards.

In Creative Cloud pricing and membership plans | Adobe Creative Cloud it clearly states that
"Students and teachers get the complete set of Creative Cloud apps and services at a special price. "
Acrobat 11 pro is available with CC now.
    Please refer to: http://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/buy/students.html
