if the material don't state there is subtitles in your language it don't include it
and if will only show subtitles if the language you choose in the atv settings so if you have it set to french
and the material only have subtitles in English and not french they will not display

I have opened the plugin scanning page many times before, and have done some updating of plugins recently, but yesterday I couldn't bring up the scan, I keep getting "Plugin Finding Service Error", which says to "try again later". I believe what I updated most recently was Flash (I think). No matter how many times I push the "try again", or shut down Firefox and the webpage, I still get the error, and get nowhere!
This problem has been occurring for the past two months. I have updated Firefox to version 3.6.16...including Flash Player to version 10.2.153.1 as instructed. I am able to click on the "Add-ons" tab and "find updates" for "Get Add-ons" and "Extensions." However, the "find updates" tab is not working for "Plugins."
I followed one of your suggestions in your "troubleshooting plugins" topic (disabling the plugins...then enabling them after a check). That didn't work either. In fact, a message box would appear saying that Firefox has "disabled Flash" instead, which of course it did not, since I was able to confirm that the Flash Player update version was still intact. Unfortunately, it appears that updating the Flash Player through Firefox is not a standalone operation. Apparently it will not work properly unless a separate update is subsequently processed through Internet Explorer as well. -

Hi. Whenever I want to upload a picture or a file, no matter how many times I press the "Upload" or "Browse" button, nothing happens. I can keep spam clicking on it and it wouldn't do anything. This is not specific to a site, but happens everywhere. Dragging and dropping files works on Facebook and Imgur, but not all websites support this. I'm using Firefox 31.0 on Windows 8.1. Yes, I have tried restarting Firefox and computer, this has been happening for a while now. Thanks.Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.

Try to delete the MRU (Most Recently Used) ComDlg32 registry keys with the registry editor (regedit.exe).
Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32
Delete the subkeys (LastVisitedPidlMRU and OpenSavePidlMRU)
Be cautious with editing the registry as there is no Undo possible: all changes are applied immediately.
You can export registry keys before making changes.

The "Favorites" icons that appear when you open a new tab are just a special folder in your Bookmarks. To add items to the page, add a bookmark (by tapping the "Bookmark" item in the "Action" popover) and specify the Favorites folder as the destination.
To remove items from the "Favorites" view, tap the Bookmarks icon, then tap "Edit" to remove bookmarks from the Favorites folder.
You may also press-and-hold an item in the Favorites view to re-order it (rather than using the Bookmarks view to reorder them). -
Has anyone had any success with live chat? I have NEVER been able to reach anyone. I complained to the FCC and an executive at Verizon contacted me I asked what options they had for me to contact anyone at Verizon (after trying to call them repeatedly and being put on hold and then disconnected repeatedly). I said "I have never been able to reach anyone by live chat"-- her response was that is the very first time she has ever heard that-and that live chat is ALWAYS available." I told her to try to reach her own customer service a few times and then she might know how it really works. So I am curious- is it just me? Has anyone been able to get through on live chat, and if so were they helpful?
How unfortunate! I love the online chat! Just used it on the 1st of October to inquire about the new data tier pricing. So much easier than waiting on the phone or in line at the Verizon store.
Perhaps you need a faster internet connection or an update to Java on your computer.

Since I downloaded Firefox 5 I cannot get the links to work for accepting or receiving gifts for Farmville & Frontiersville, what can I do. When a request is posted on my FB page and I click on it to send or receive a gift it just shows that its "connecting" and sits there for several minutes then only sometimes actually goes to the gift. i downloaded 3 songs to my pc and sync'd my ipod and the songs do not tranfer. is this related to not having the proper itunes version vs ios? I cannot get the songs to sync, but I can move other songs to different playlists and they sync fine...any ideas what's wrong?

I have a couple of steps for you to try in order to get those songs transferred to your iPod touch. First, make sure all of your software is updated with the latest versions. If the songs were downloaded from iTunes, you will also want to delete the songs from your library and then download them again from the list of past purchases on your iTunes account. If you try a sync after those two steps and are still seeing the issue, then I would like you to try syncing the iPod by setting it to manually manage. An article outlining more information on manually managing your iPod sync can be found here:

Yes it sounds like you have a corrupted preference file.
The setting you make in individual programs get saved to a Preference file in your Users/Library/Preferences folder.
All you have to do is drag out the old file to the desktop, reboot and load the program and the preference file gets rebuilt without your preferences which you reset.
For your case I beleive the preference file is

What is the error that you are seeing? Try to login using another App like GameCenter or iMessage? Also try logging in to other Apps like Facebook to check if it is your Internet connection problem.
