I cannot I tunes to accept my new credit card

I cannot get iTunes to accept my replaced credit card.

What happens when you try to add the new card's details ? Do you get any error messages ?
For the card to be accepted it needs to be registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and be issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are.
If you are getting a card declined message then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management

To use credit card in purchasing Skype product, you just have to make sure that you have entered your credit card's correct information. If you are not certain with this information, you can contact your bank for more assistance.

I keep trying to put new credit card on iTunes and it tells me "card not valid" or "invalid security code". What do I do?

have exactly the same problem. i use virtual visa cards (mbnet.pt), issued by my bank (and that are tied to my bank account), and now itunes is also saying that i cannot add more cards. contaced costumer support, and they said the same, to go and buy gift cards (even though they're not sold in my country) or make a new account (losing all my previously purchades apps). So now basically im left with an account that cant buy stuff.
this is beyond crazy. ive been told by my friends that they thought that the limit was 5 cards every 30 days, but now costumer support says its forever. what?
also, im pretty sure that i only changed card 3 times the last month, and +1 time a couple of months before.
man, talk about a crazy limitation. i too dont know what to do now. one thing im sure, and that is i will never again buy anything from apple again if this doesnt get solved the "good" way. man, i just want them to AT LEAST allow me to add a "clickandbuy" account, but all i get is an error saying that ive added to many cards.

ITunes not accepting my new credit card details

My bank recently suspected some hacking activity, so just to be sure they issued their customers new (VISA) credit cards. The numbers are the same, only the security code changed. I proceeded to change these details in the iTunes Store, and I got the message:
"This card cannot be used with the iTunes Store. Please use another credit card."
Sadly, I don't have a credit card collection. This is my only credit card, and need to be able to link it to my account. I've written Apple Support a number of times now (If any Apple Support people are reading along, its case numbers 616319324 and 615607991.) But I'm not getting any response except their lovely message saying they've received my question, and they'll be in touch.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed?

I did. I removed the old card, and selected the 'none' option. After exiting and logging back in I reentered the new details, with the same error message coming up. I never had any trouble with my purchases or unauthorised ones. I've been using the card for other things in the mean time too, so it's not that. I think it has to do with Apple having my old card (which has the same number, but different security code) on file, which maybe causes a conflict with my new one.
As I said, I've tried to get in touch with Apple via getsupport.apple.com, but no succes....

When trying to buy at the App Store it keeps saying "Your cedit card information does not matchc your bank's records. Please enter a U.S. credit card and matching billing address." This credit card is not the original I had saved in the system -- it's new, but the billing address is a PO box. If I change it to my residential address I get the same message.

Is your VISA account associated with the same country where you reside? If not, that's why it was declined.

Could be any number of things - hard to tell since you haven't provided details. If this is for a purchase on the app store, the card's address must be from the same country as the store's location. Could be lots of other issues.

yeah, I just got this new credit card that I'm trying to use for buying music, but when I go to switch out the info from my old expired card for this one on itunes, in the account billing section, it's refusing to accept the security code/numbers. Even though I know that I'm typing them in right cause I have the dang card right in front of me! *sighs, frustrated* I'm using a windows pc with xp professional service pack 2 running on the latest upgrades for that system to access itunes. If anybody can help me out here I would really be truly grateful.

The card information must exactly match the issuing bank's billing records precisely. Often this is not a discrepancy with the security code, but an address or ZIP code that is not an exact match.

hi, can any one please advise what should I do for my server? Dell poweredge T630 cannot reboot after trying to add new memory card. Even I remove the newly added memory card and only keep the original one there, it still cannot reboot. Before I try to add the memory card, it works well without any rebooting issues.

I can't get my unlocked iPhone to accept the new sim card.

I have an iphone 3, I had it unlocked by O2 a few weeks ago, but it still wont accept a new sim card, and when i connect it to itunes, it doesnt mention anything or give me the opportunity to register the new sim. Can anyone help?
