I cannot install my copy of Photoshop elements on my new PC with windows 8, it was OK with Windows 7.
Can I get an update for this?

The workaround for this problem is to revert to IE9 or earlier, install your old PSE, then reinstall the latest IE version.

Photoshop Elements 1.0.1 seems like very old software 2001 I believe. Try asking in the Elements maybe someone there will be able to answer your question. Photoshop Elements

Lost Serialized Insert from PC Ultimate Software Suite-Cannot Install Full Version of Photoshop Elements 12

I purchased a Dell Inspiron laptop which was bundled with PC Ultimate Software Suite, a collection of programs on one disc. It included Adobe Photoshop Elements 12, but I misplaced the insert that contained the serial key. I still have the sleeve that the CD was bundled with, as well as the CD itself. Is there anyway I can still download the full version of Photoshop Elements 12 without having to buy the program separately or buying Software Suite again?

If Dell provided the bundle you should contact Dell to see about getting a replacement or the serial for the disk.

A Window opens, I click next, I accept the terms of use, I choose Installation and then Photoshop Element in the list, clik next.... and then nothing!
No asking for my serial number, no nothing!
Do I do something wrong? What do I have to do to make it work?

It's an old version. Bought in 2001. It does not say which version it is... maybe the first? And there was no pop up messages.
Anyway, Thanks for your answer, but finally, I closed some other applications that were open and then the installation started. It was only that!

Cannot install free trial of Photoshop elements???

I have now tried to install this several times and it is not working. It downloads fine, I open the file and it tries to unzip but I get this error message: Cannot open file "Photoshop Elements_12_LS25.7z." It does not appear to be a valid archive. If you downloaded this file, try downloading the file again.
I've downloaded the file 4 times now. I'm using Windows 7, and Winzip to extract the file.Even when I open WinZip to try and locate the file the folder is empty.
I have tried deleting the previous downloads before downloading again. Nothing is working.

I believe there is supposed to be an executable file that also downloads that you run instead of interacting with the zipped file. The executable deals with the zipped file.

Which version of OS X do you have? It's not clear from your post whether "installed an upgrade" means you just installed PSE 13 as an upgrade or you installed an update to PSE 13, like ACR 9 or 13.1. Please clarify.

There is no activation for PSE 6 unless you bought your serial number via the Buy It Now button in the trial, so you can just go ahead and install it.

Your windows is 32 bit or 64 bit .
If win 7 32 bit
Just copy the plugin from PSE 11 and paste it to PSE 13 plug-in folder.
If win 7 64
PSE 11 and PSE 13 are installed as a 32 and 64 bit respectively , so you need to install plug-in again.

i installed a trail copy of photoshop elements.
i uninstalled it.
i have now bought a retail copyof the program.
the program will not let me install it apparntly due to the uninstall not removing all the files.
