When I install Opanda IExif for Firefox Extension, popup tool-tip shows Opanda IExif for Firefox Extension cannot installed. Because it isn't compatible with Firefox 4.01.

Got the solution. The problem was I had Microsoft .Net Framework 4. After I went back to 3.5 the driver installation went through perfectly. Thank you guys for the efforts.HP tech support has to deal with some serious issues and bad attitude. Tech support in my country just told me to forget about this printer working under XP(how comfortable and easy). I have to say I'm mad and exhausted after 3 days of efforts, desperation and frustration cause I bought and trusted HP but the guys that are paid to help just didn't want to help at all.

Cannot install Windows Media Player 11 plugin. Not even manually

Since I can't install the Windows Media Player 11 plugin through the plugins section, I tried installing it manually from the link http://port25.technet.com/pages/windows-media-player-firefox-plugin-download.aspx multiple times and it still will not show up in about:plugins. I followed instructions from Firefox and rebooted after the install and still won't show up. I am using Windows 7 64 bit and have the latest version of Firefox. cannot play videos embedded in websites that support windows media streaming.

Cannot install my Dreamweaver MXP extensions in CC version of Extension Manager

You can download CS6 version from http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/em6_download.html . To convert MXP to ZXP, only Extension Manager CS6 is required. You don't have to install other CS6 applications.

Here's the freagin' deal. Simply put...
I need the newest version of Adobe Flash (10.1 I think?) to be able to run Media Go (which I've been running for a long time w/ no problems) so that I can access my account on the PSN to then be able to transfer games (among many many other things) onto my PSP.
As I stated above, I've been running the Media Go program on my cpu for a long time now with no issues whatsoever. But now, Media Go recently asked/required me to download the newest Adobe FLash player in order to simply be able to start up Media Go at the very least.
Then, when I go to download the newest Flash, it comes up with an error message that I've also seen a lot of others run into... "the ActiveX control for Adobe Flash Player could not be registered" ... bla bla bla ...
And oddly enough, this only when I download and install using the Internet Explorer 8 browser. If I use my Google Chrome browser, it says that I don't need to install it because apparently it is already there and already up to date?!
So, after sitting and thinking for a bit, I then tried everything under the sun to help me, including going through pretty much every trouble-shooting step process provided by this very website.
I've tried downloading the newer beta
-checking to see if I have admin permission
-checking my Internet Explorer version, which says, "Cypher strength: 128 bit," despite it saying I have to have the 32 bit version???
-uninstalling the old version
- etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
I do have Windows XP Media Center Edition, and that might a/the the problem... but I'm not sure? I basically went through all of the trouble-shooting requirements, checking to make sure my cpu matches what the requirements say that I have to have in order for Adobe Flash Player 10.1 to run/download/install.
To be completely honest, my current knowledge of computers isn't that great at all (I'm horrible... it's pretty bad). I really don't know how to do a lot of things without having instructions in front of me... and even then I still screw up. In turn, I am all out of options! I really need help! And I really REALLY need to be able to run Media Go so that I can access all 100 or so of my PSN downloaded games. Because without being able to run Media Go, my games are essentially impossible for me to access... and that's a lot of my money that I'm not using and or taking advantage of (although I guess I can still try using my friend's CPU ??)! There are even quite a few new games I've recently downloaded that I haven't transfered to my PS yet... new games I can't get at and therefore cannot play!
Anyways, you get the gist. Sorry for my rambling... I'm just extremely frustrated due to the fact that this should be a very simple and easy process that usually takes what, all but a few minutes to update?!?!
Can anyone with the knowledge and know-how (way WAY far beyond what I know) lead me to success, or at the very least send me on the right path? Thanx to anyone in advance willing to try to help me. I can easily state that I will indeed greatly appreciate it!!

Please can you help I am trying to download the adobe acrobat pro trial via the adobe download assistant but cannot get the download to complete successfully.
Everytime I try and download the file it freezes when almost totally downloaded (less than a minute remaining) and eventually returns an error saying:
Error extracting teh product installer (Error 101). Check for available disk space on your system and try downloading the product again. I am trying to install to the desktop on a drive with 600GB free!!

Though if the extraction fails, you may face that same issue again. Store the fiel in a different location and do a littel housekeeping. You could well simply be running out of temp space or have a permissions problem on your temp folder...

When updating the newest version of Firefox - I go to drag the logo into my applications folder and it says "the operation cannot be completed, because you don't have permission to access some of the items". and it will not let the process continue. Cannot install WinXP or 2000 on my Nforce2 board PLEASE HELP ME

I have the k7n2g-ilsr model and I would like to install Windows XP home on it. For some reason I can only get Windows 98SE to install and work. I am trying to do a fresh install of XP. I have tried to install by booting from the CD and by using the boot disk set. It goes through everything just fine until it gets to the "Setup is starting Windows" and then it freezes, does the same thing on XP and 2000Pro.
My setup:
AthlonXP 2000+
256MB Pc2100 DDR(Don't know brand came out of my E-Machine.)
Hitatchi 48x Burner
DVD Rom
ATI Radeon 9000 Pro
The only brackets I am using are the dolby digital connector bracket and the firewire bracket.
I have tried everything, right down to using just the Proc., Mem, 1 CD Drive, on-board Graphics, and HDD and still doesn't work.
I have been a hardcore MSI fan for a long time and I don't want to have to return this KICK ASS board.

No, I couldn't get it to load a few times on my Maxtor 740X 40Gb, it just would freeze at the starting windows 2000 part. Then I switched to my very old trusty WD 10Gig same problem a few times. So I put the other drive back in. After about 3 more tries it got to where i could partition it. Then it froze up again during formatting. Then it would freeze at various times during the installing files parts. After about the 20th try it got to rebooting and I didn't have a problem after that, other than I have to run at a lowered fsb. I'm about ready to RMA my board so I should be able to see if a new one has the same problems.
I kept trying this stuff straight in a row. Sometimes it would get farther in the process, sometimes froze sooner.

well, I got bad news for you. That is a common problem for this specific webcam, I also have one like that since november last year, and it only works on my desktop! my notebook is a toshiba satellite m55 s39, and it says unkown usb device. ppl from creative tells us to by a powered hub, but I refused, as this camera is supposed to work on a notebook. But I guess, I'll have to try that.

Cannot install "plugin/extension name" because Firefox cannot modify the needed file. This is happening for any and every kind of plugin theme you could think of. This started when I upgraded to Firefox 11 just now.

I just upgraded to Firefox 11.0 (unwillingly) and I get the following whenever I try to install ANYTHING at all. Themes, add-ons...it doesn't matter, the result is the same.
"Cannot install "plugin name here" because Firefox cannot modify the needed file.
If the fix requires installing a plugin...well, that's not going to work obviously.
Anybody know how to fix this?

You shouldn't see such an error. 
That error usually indicates that an extension or dictionary needs to be unpacked to make it work.
Firefox 4 and later no longer unpacks an extension automatically, but renames the XPI file to the ID of the extension and copies that file to the extensions folder in the Firefox Profile Folder.
If an extension needs to be unpacked then there should be an unpack directive (<nowiki><em:unpack>true</em:unpack></nowiki>) in the install.rdf file of that extension
You can try to set the Boolean pref extensions.alwaysUnpack to true on the about:config page.
