whenever i try to access fm radio stations online, there would be a dialogue box saying "missing plug ins".

On the iPad you can stream videos, photos, or music from the Video, Photos, Music, and YouTube apps to an Apple TV OR just stream music to an AirPort Express Base Station.

Turning your Mac into a clock radio.
1. In iTunes create a playlist that contains just the radio station you want to wake up to.
2. Export the playlist (as .m3u works well). Get Info on your playlist file and look at the Open With entry to make sure it points to iTunes, VLC or some other app that will stream your station.
3. In iCal create an event entry at the time you want to wake up.
4. Right (or Control) click on your wakeup event and select Get Info.
5. For "alarm" select Open File.
6. Now under Open File there will be a place to add the file to open. It will probably be some default entry (like iCal). Click on it will allow you to select "other." Then use the file dialog to select your playlist file.
Your Mac will wake you up at the appointed time. You don't need to keep iCal running. If you want to put you Mac to sleep for the night then there is one more thing you need to do. Open System Preferences to Energy Saver and click on the Schedule button. Check Start up or wake and set the wake up time to slightly before your iCal alarm time.

When I try to play a radio station with iTunes, a window pops up wiht the iTunes error message: "The streaming server cannot accept any more connecitons at this time."
I've restarted my computer. Still get the error message.
I've dumped all of my internet temporary memory. Still get the error message.

Okay. Although the statement gets a little odd there at the end.
If you want Computer A to send a message to Computer B and they are in different networks then the router for the network where computer B is must be configured to allow and forward through connections from Computer A to computer B.
And vice-versa.
The alternative is to do the following.
Have a third computer (let's call it C) that is a server and is available through a public IP.
Then when Computers A and B come online they open connections to C. When A wants to send a message to B... A sends to C and C sends to B.
This would not require any network reconfigurations.

You cannot use iCloud Storage to suppliment your iPad. They are mainly used to backup iPad.
Free up space on iPad
Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete what is not needed to free up space on iPad.

That's possible if he didn't connect to a WiFi hotspot after taking them. I don't think the "Personal" Photo Stream uploads over Cellular, unless they changed it since the last time I used it.
If that's the case, then the photos likely didn't upload to Photo Stream and are stuck on the phone.
And you're not going to be able to get them back, either.

It should look like this...
Open Windows explorer, select Photo Stream under Favorites on the left sidebar:
Click on Photo Stream, then to the right double-click on My Photo Stream. Click on Add Photos on the top the menu bar:
Select the photos you want to import, then click Open.

I am not aware of a control you can put in PowerPoint, however, you can insert a web browser control and reference a page in SPO (or maybe even directly the path to the workbook, didn't try that).

Once you get your S/N and download the software, back them up to a CD or backup HD. Not doing that is like purchasing a CD, installing software, and tossing the CD in the trash.

I am the Program Director at my university's radio station, and would like the stream to be available through iTunes Radio. I have read through some old threads on here that sounded similar to my question, but nothing really helped me find a solution or a dead end.

I know I've seen stations disappear from the lists - Radio Paradise comes to mind even though it's back now. And the number of stations in the Eclectic list is huge (130+) compared to the early days of iTunes.
It's definitely a strange little backwater area of iTunes that gets little attention, but it's hardly a static environment.

Trying to use the Ipad, was reading online newspaper this morning and went blank and then this on the screen, "safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found", what is this and how to fix?

It may be the on-line newspaper server went off-line because of power failure or other problems.
If other sites are working no problem --- if your internet carrier is off-line (happen to me during hurricane Sandy - I had power, my internet company didn't so no internet until it did>)
