I cannot locate my "sent" mail since I changed to Exchange program in my apple email?

In my Apple mail I recently converted to Outlook 365 Exchange program. I have two email programs, Apple and Yahoo. Since I converted to this email program, when I send an Apple email, I cannot find the "sent" emails anywhere? I can pull up the Yahoo "sent" emails but not the others. I'm wondering if this could be due to something in my settings?

Yeah, Comcast didn't bother testing that new interface properly with Firefox, so it is a "Mozilla problem". They did the same thing two years ago with the last major re-design of their web mail interface, but they fixed it a little faster then.
The Xfinity Connect Lite interface works properly in Firefox 6.0, so you need to open Preferences > General near the top of that page and switch to the Connect Lite version. See the screenshot below.

I cannot open my comcast mail since they changed their opening page for inboxes

I have always been able to access my Comcast email inbox UNTIL Comcast changed their opening page for email. When they changed their opening page, it now shows just a portion of your new email and you have to click on "View Entire Inbox" to actually read your mail. I can navigate to this page, but when I click on "View Entire Inbox" it simply gives me the exact same page and will not allow me to view my entire inbox. I phoned Comcast and they said it is an issue with Mozilla. I can still view my email via Safari. Any ideas? I miss Mozilla! I hate Safari!

Anybody had an issues with mail since upgrading to mountain lion? Can't get emails from one account, tried deleting and recreating but to no avail. Set up a new user and it works fine. Macbook pro 13" mid 2010 model.

HT201320 Changed apple ID and my icloud account. Ever since this change, I am unable to access my email?

I changed my apple ID and my icould account. Ever since this change, i am unable to access my email. everytime i open my Yahoo Inbox, I get this msg saying "Cannot Get Mail" "The connection to the server failed". but 'm on wifi and can access all sorts of pages and games. My Cellular data for my email is "on"

If you use iCloud as well, you can try adding it back to your accounts as well. I have 7 email accounts (including iCloud and a Yahoo account) in mail on my iPhone and iPad and have no problems with them. I suspect it was not removing iCloud that fixed your problem, it was the re-entering the Yahoo account login credentials (maybe they just got corrupted - could be as simple as that).
If you do add iCloud back, and it causes problems right away with your Yahoo, then you should send a ticket in to the iCloud support folks as that would seem to be something not working correctly?

Also if you actually deleted the iCloud account, remember you can keep the account, and just disable it for mail in the iCloud settings (so you can keep using iCloud for other features even if you do not want to use iCloud mail).

That is a very good warning provided by the Download Statusbar extension. Something like that should been built into Firefox. I filed this Bug report a couple of years ago, about the lack of a warning like that. <br />

I have looked everywhere that I can think of to find a list of '''IOfficeAntiVirus providers''' ''(as mentioned in the Bug report)'' that will work with Firefox, so I can't answer that for you.
You might want to ask the developer of the Download Statusbar extension about it. He might know which AV programs are compatible with the Windows API that Firefox uses for the download scan. <br />

I recently upgraded to Yosemite, I cannot see my sent messages now? I know they are being sent however they are not in my sent mail now? How can I now view these sent messages?

Since no one has answered my original request for assistance regarding my "Sent Mail" mailbox, I'll move the issue aside and approach it differently: How do I trash the prefs in Apple Mail without trashing my inbox and all the other mailboxes? Trashing the prefs works for most apps, but if I do that to Mail, I'm screwed. My real problem remains: I can no longer see or read the email in my "sent mail" box; I can see the info identifying the entry, but I can't read the contents of the email. It's all there in the Mail folder on my hard drive, but it doesn't show up in the Mail app.
So how can I trash the prefs for "Mail" without trashing my inbox?

I have only had to trash the Mail preference once, and I cannot remember what occurred (except that the application worked OK after that).
Before you trash the preference file, try rebuilding the mailbox(s).

Cannot locate inbox, sent, drafts, or deleted folder

I was trying to reorganize my inbox by moving a few emails to newly created subfolders. As it was doing it Mail quit and when i restarted it all of my previous emails in my inbox, sent, drafts and delete messages were gone.
The only emails which were saved were the ones in the subfolders or previously imported mailboxes.
I've tried to Import my previous inbox, sent, drafts and deleted mailboxes but they now come in blank.
My computer memory went down significantly so I believe they've are store some I just con't loctae them.
My internet provider is Sympatico (high speed)

Contact the recipient to see if they received it, and if so, have them send you back a copy.
Then you might want to go to icloud.com, launch Mail, click the gear-shaped icon on the lower left and choose Preferences, then on the General tab be sure under Mailboxes you have checked to save your sent messages in your sent folder.

Can't send mail since password change

Yesterday I changed my yahoo password and now I can receive emails on my itouch but I can't send them - it says the username or password is incorrect. I know they are both correct.
I've tried going through settings but when I touch Outgoing Mail Server, then Primary Server, I can't change anything on the screen because it's greyed out.
Any suggestions in simple terms please because I'm definitely no techy, would be gratefully appreciated!

Hi Lizzie have you tried deleting your email mail account on your itouch and then resyncing with your main computer.
On your itouch go to:
settings
mail, contacts & calendar
click on email address that is synced with itouch (underneath Accounts)
then scroll down and at the bottom of this page on a red banner it says 'Delete Account'
You could then resync your itouch using the method described in my earlier post (through the info tab on your summary page)
Good luck this worked for me when I couldn't remember my password to set up email directly on the itouch

You have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Sent mail suddenly not being kept

I just noticed that both mail accounts on our computer are have not kept any copied of sent mail since the beginning of NOv. No e-mail addresses have been changed and all the settings are set for the sent mail to be saved in the preferences...what is wrong? Do I have to reinstall the mail to fix this?

For what type of account - .Mac, IMAP or POP?
If either account is a .Mac or IMAP type account, do you select store Sent messages on the server which is available under the Special Malboxes tab for the account preferences?
If both accounts are POP type accounts, how many messages are available in the Sent mailbox for each account?

Sent mail not showing in folder

Our Mac has three email accounts. For the last two days, one of the accounts does not show sent mail in the sent folder. The other two accounts are working properly. I have reviewed the MobileMe settings and the Preferences on Mac Mail and can't find the issue.
The accounts are all MobileMe (IMAP) accounts and accessed via iPad, iPhone and Mac, but no device is showing sent mail since Monday.
Any suggestions?

Quit Mail. Force quit if necessary.
Back up all data. That means you know you can restore the Mail database, no matter what happens.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V, then press return.
A folder window will open. Inside it there should be files with names as follows:
          Envelope Index
          ExternalUpdates.storedata
Move those files to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Other files in the folder may have longer names that begin as above. Move those files, if any, to the Trash.
Relaunch Mail. It should prompt you to re-import your messages. You may get a warning that the index is damaged and that Mail has to quit. Click OK. Typically, the process takes a few minutes, but it may take hours if you have gigantic mailboxes. In that case, you may be able to speed things up by temporarily adding your home folder to the Privacy list in the Spotlight preference pane. Remove it when Mail has finished importing.
Test. If Mail now works as expected, you can delete the files you moved to the Desktop. Otherwise, post your results.

How can sent mails sorted by attachments?

Dear all,
I added the column "attachments" in the display window of my sent mails (classic layout). The column appears, but the mails containing an attachment are not marked with the paper-clip icon. Besides, I cannot sort my sent mails by attachment.
Because I do not have this problem for my incoming mails (here the paper-clip icons are displayed), I guess it is a bug (Yosemite; mail Version 8.1 (1993).
Does anybody know how can I solve this problem? Thanks!
