I cannot log in to Creative cloud - when I do it says I logged out
I did have purchased lightroom 5 and photoshop cc on the same machine. When 5.3 lightroom came out I wanted to update but could not log in. I have deleted lightroom. I have deleted and reinstalled cc desktop but still the same.
Reading various forum I hear of hours trying to fix the problem with a lot of file editing I am not comfortable with.
Has a simple solution been found ?

I am providing the solution given in the Forum,
While installing Lightroom 5 through the Creative Cloud desktop application or updating to Lightroom 5.3 you may receive the error message, "There was a problem installing Lightroom 5." Please see Error: "There was a problem installing Lightroom 5" installing Lightroom 5.3 for additional details. For information on how to change the language setting of the Creative Cloud desktop application please see Adjust the install language | Creative Cloud applications | CCM.
Please try these steps, incase the issue is still not solved,

When I try to open an image by double clicking on it in Bridge, I get a message telling me to log in to Creative Cloud. I am running CS6, and the default should be to open files in Photoshop 6 or in Adobe Raw (if it's a Raw file). I don't want to log into CC since I am not a subscriber, and this means that I have to work around, and go back to Bridge, and tell it to open the file in Adobe RAW. However, this does not work for older psd files which for some reason cannot be opened in RAW. How do I return to the process of simply allowing RAW files to open automatically in Adobe RAW, and simply right clicking on the image in Bridge to bring up the option of opening it in Photoshop?

I have Lightroom 6 (not CC) on a Windows machine. I'm prompted to log into Creative Cloud when I restart my computer (I don't have, use, or pay for Creative Cloud), and then when I launch Lightroom, it tells me to use the application I have to log into my Adobe account...AGAIN! And then to further add insult to injury, I'm prompted to enter in the license number of my product. I've gone through this process a dozen times now...SCREAM!!!
Paulou12 what type of a Creative Cloud Membership do you have? You can find details on how to update Lightroom using the Creative Cloud Desktop application at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.
Finally if you are in a managed environment then please work with your I.T. department to apply the update. -

Even though i have a year student subscription with creative cloud when i try to open the programmes a window comes up for free trial or to buy the product. I was clicking the free trial option but i guess thats over now so it won't allow me to access the programs. Any suggestions?

I cannot install Acrobat through Creative Cloud on OSX 10.9.5. The error output is below.
I've tried:
Uninstall everything using the uninstallers
Restart
Run the CC Cleaner tool
Restart
Run sudo find . /Users/*/Library -name Adobe
Delete anything found

Reinstall
