I cannot log in to my Kohls account "The connection was reset"

When I go to the Kohls website and click on the 'my account' tab and when I click on 'sign in' it goes to another tab and then gives me the message "The connection was reset" and

I can log in the same account from the desktop but not the Laptop.

  • I keep getting "the connection was reset" etc when logged onto my bank.

    When logged on to my bank (business account) and setting up weekly payments I can set up a couple of them but then I get the "the connection was reset" etc error message. If I try to log in again I just keep getting the same message.
    Then I have to open up Chrome, log in to the bank, and finish the job with no trouble at all. Generally I prefer to use Firefox; but maybe not for much longer!

  • Cannot sync my ipad because the connection was reset?

    I can't sync my ipad or iphone because an error code comes up stating that it cannot be synced because the connection was reset.  It comes up after the backup process of the sync session.

    Try another cable and be sure it's genuine Apple. Also make sure there is no debris in the connection area of the device.

    Have you tried syncing with your own computer. The one you used to sync the photos to your iPad in the first place?
    Do you have a backup of your iPad on your own computer? Or in iCloud?
    If your iPad is stuck to the Apple ID and password used by the different laptop have the owner of that laptop remove your device from their iCloud account. They can go to iCloud.com on their laptop, enter their Apple ID and password and then remove your iPad from their account.
    Once you sign into your own Apple ID and password and then sign in to your iCloud account, many of your lost items should come back. Specifically these include your Contacts andCalendar entries.

  • I cannot access my ebay account. I can still look for stuff but if I try to login in I get an error message saying that the connection was reset. This is the only site I am having issues with. The site works with IE6 but I would rather use Firefox.

    - Was having problems accessing messages on Facebook, seems to be working now
    - Cannot login on ebay.ca or ebay.com
    - Having troubles listing items on ebay (uploading pictures)... this started before the logging in problems
    - Problems only on laptop, other PC in the not having any problems
    - Can log in to ebay using IE on laptop, but I would rather use Firefox

  • I am receiving a "Problem loading page (The connection was reset)" error when I open certain websites. Sometimes I can only open the homepage and not the log in section for a website, othertimes the other way around.

    Amongst other things, I've updated all Firewalls to grant Mozilla access, rebooted the computer, checked your FAQs but I am now running Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security (not the original Trend Micro, which your FAQ is out-of-date for anyways) and you don't have any advice in regards to that program. I receive the same error page when I try to update any of the Plugins which are indicated as requiring an update in Firefox's Plugin Check & Updates page.

    Re: my security software: I use Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials (also Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, if that helps).
    I've now tried the above link's instructions for configuring Windows Firewall to allow Firefox access. It may have helped slightly with the error (which seems to be happening a bit less often); however, the primitive-looking-web-page problem is if anything worse, pages are INCREDIBLY slow to load, and the error remains frequent (can't tell if this possible respite is just temporary, or even mere wishful thinking on my part). In any case, though, my original problem hasn't been solved yet.

  • I cannot load one trusted website, none of the suggested solutions work, fixed Norton 360 as recommended, cleared all history, but still I get "The connection was reset", I get the website using Internet Explorer - help please!

    I'm running Windows 7 (64 bit) with Mozilla 5.0 and Norton 360 4.3.0.5. I used to be able to load the website URL below, but it stopped loading about a month ago.   • I cannot reach checkout on Amazon. I get a Connection Was Reset message

    I cannot reach checkout on Amazon. Nor can I move freely to my Account. I have tried signing in with other names and other email addresses but equally unsuccessfully. I have disabled anti virus (Avast) and Windows Firewall, cleaned cookies etc. I have spent some time with both Amazon and my server (PlusNet) trying to resolve this. It also occurs with Internet Explorer and Safari.
    The problem lies within my own computer but doesn't seem to effect any other site than Amazon. The Connection Reset message does occur frequently, whether this is normal or not I do not know, but when retried usually goes away when surfing elsewhere
    I can access Amazon using a neighbour's computer.

    Thank you brinda. I hav eread the article you mention and have again cleared both cache and cookies but to no avail. I am still getting a "The connection was reset" message. Amazon tell me that he fault is with me rather than at their end as otherwise I would not be able to log in on a neighbour's computer.

  • I cannot log in to my YouTube account?

    Since I installed Firefox on my PC more than a month ago, I cannot log in to my YouTube account, and cannot watch any videos there. I get an error message, telling me connection to this site (something like that) has failed, you can "retry" it again. Nothing come of it when I retry. This is very frustrating and I'm close to giving up on Firefox as a result. Please help.
