I cannot log into the ebay website today - has it crashed?

Has anyone else had problems pulling up ebay's website today? Has their site crashed or is this a Firefox issue?

Thanks for the replies. I obviously had something screwed up in my environment in terms of file permissions.
I decided that since I am new to Oracle VM and management of the Oracle Enterprise Linux VM templates, and that this was a new instance of the OEL5 template installation, I would start over. So I unzipped the OEL5 template, copied over my vm.cfg file which configures the template instance and brought up a new copy of the OEL5 VM instance. I then logged into it as root, changed the oracle account password and started the GNOME interface with telinit 5 command.
I was then able to log in successfully to the oracle account via the GNOME interface.

    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

    I am signed into the iCloud and contacts are turned on in the iCloud settings on my iPad. the iCloud account is checked in the groups area of the contacts settings. the calendar is turned on the same way and that syncs to iCloud...just not contacts.

    On last week of Sept'2008 we faced similar issue and we tried fixing the issue by recreating the bomain.key file & restarting the BO services on the servers, but it didn't help as the actual cause was network connectivity issue between the BO application server and the BO repository server.
    This issue again reappeared on last week of Oct'2008. We tried rebooting the servers and restarting the BO services. The issue got resolved.
    I would like to know the followings:
    1) Why this issue occurs once in a week, mainly on weekends?
    2) Is it necessary to reboot the servers and restart the BO services on a periodic manner? If Yes, what should be the frequency of doing this activity?
    3) What would be the consequences if the BO applications and the BO repository are made to reside on the same server?
    Thanking in advance to all those generous souls willing to help me out in tackling the issue at the earliest.

    Following information might help you to resolve your query.
    Cause
    There are two possible causes for this error.
    - The WebIntelligence services are set as 'System Account'.
    - The Broadcast Agent was not installed properly.
    Resolution
    1. Change the WebIntelligence Manager and Orb services parameters from 'Log on as' to 'This Account'.
    2. Logon with the local machine administrator account who installed and configured Informix.
    3. Restart these two services.
    4. Re-install BCA following the steps listed in the 'Note for Informix Users' section in the Readme file.

    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    I can get to the ebay page but when I try to log into My ebay, the page will not come up. Very frustrated. Have a new macbook pro and am using safari. But tried firefox as well and same thing happens.

    I seem to remember with Mavericks, the issue had something to do with Mavericks needing more room than an existing OSX partition could afford the upgrade. So the installer just obliterated the bootcamp partition to complete the OSX upgrade. I could be wrong in my memory but I believe that's why I didn't upgrade my 17" MBP.
    I'm not so sure this is the case now. Some folks are reporting no issues with bootcamp when upgrading the OSX partition, while others who do lost the boot camp partition when they created another partition to install Yosemite to.
    Until I'm clear on what works and doesn't, I'm not upgrading my retina MBPs. Just did my imac with no problems. It would help if folks would indicate how they went about the upgrade, either from and to the OSX partition they use or if they upgraded via a newly created partition. And if their OSX partition was very small. On that note, I don't know if Yosemite needs more space than Mavericks or not. So there are some variables to be considered. Apples Yosemite page says it will work with win 7 and 8 boot camp partitions but they need to make it clear what procedure will preserve them after upgrade. Or fix whatever might be wrong with the installer for Yosemite.

    I don't recall where, but if you hunt, you will be able to find an "accept" button.  I think you also need to check a box that says something like "I have read and agree ..."

    I am stuck in a loop on my ipad - I have followed the instructions in your article above - I keep trying to delete icloud but cannot because it still wants me to login with my old id/email which is then rejected because it no longer exists.  STUCK.  What am I to do?  Now none of my Apple devices will sync and this is extremely irritating - to say the least.
    I assume that I wont be able to access the backup on my computer either because of this - otherwise I would delete my ipad completely and start again - and I really cannot see why, in this age of hackers etc you wonderful APPLE people have not sorted this problem out.
    I had to change my email addresses because someone with too much time on their hands hacked me.  Now I appear to be stuck.

  • I cannot log into the oracle account using GNOME interface

    I'm receiving the following message when trying to log into the oracle OS account with the GNOME interface turned on:
    GDM could not write to your authorization file. This could mean that you are out of disk space or that your home directory could not be opened for writing. In any case, it is not possible to log in. Please contact your system administrator.
    I can successfully ssh into the oracle account via a terminal window session.
    df -h on the host does not show a problem with disk space:

    Some searching on the internet indicated that the .Xauthority file was the problem.
    I noticed that there was no .Xauthority file in the /home/oracle directory. I logged into the oracle OS account via a terminal session and issued the command mkxauth -c. This created an .Xauthority file in my /home/oracle directory. The file has the following permissions which look like they match other hosts we have the Oracle Database running on:
    -rw------- 1 oracle oinstall 265 2011-03-08 13:32 /home/oracle/.Xauthority
    Any heal is greatly appreciated.

    i think u can use config tool for offline administrations.
      i think u have to run the configtool.bat file which is located in the configtool dir , which is in the same directory as of Visual administrator.
    i have not tried this particular problem using config tool.

  • Cannot log into the ePrint site to manage my account...how to reset?

    I'm trying to log onto the e-print site and I cannot get onto it.
    I have tried to rest the password, but EVERY email address that I have, will not be accepted by the site so I don't know what to do.
    I can send documents to my ePrint email, and they do print, and I get a print confirmation to my primary email address, but I cannot get on even with that email address though it send me confirmations there.
    I cannot reset the password with this email...site does not accept it as the right email address.

    Did you create your ePrint Center login using your email address or the email address assigned to the printer?
    When creating the login, it is intended that you use your own email address as the address asigned to the printer can change.
    Once you have created an ePrint Center login with your email address, the other important point is that the printer's email address must be registered within 24 hours of it being assigned to the printer.
    if the email address is older than 24 hours and has not been registered, you will need to create a new email address for the printer.  To do this, turn off web services on the printer itself and then re-enable web services.  It should reconnect and then receive a new email address.  At this point, the printer can be registered using the new address.

  • I tried to log into the creative cloud today and got an update request. I ran it and got, "Error code: 50." I have searched, but cannot find the solution.
