I cannot navigate the iPad apps in the App Store when searching using Voiceover

When I am searching for apps in the App Store on my iPad, or searching iTunes - they only read 'image' for the list of apps when using VoiceOver. In iTunes, when I click on an item with VoiceOver, it brings up a completely different item.
I am only suffering with this issue since updating my devices to iOS5.
The issue has been found on two different iPads, so it cannot be anything hardware related.
Can anybody help? You could really make a difference to me, thank you!

Unfortunatly the see all link only shows "all" of the what's new or whats hot sub caregories..... I have to browse the app store on a computer then go and search for what I want on the iPad.... Some apps i have you just cant browse too unless you search .... They need to fix this unless i am still missing something

Help!!! - Problem using the app store when previously used by other person

I tried to give an iphone, previously used by someone else (call them person A) who upgraded to a 3G, to another person. Everything worked fine until they went to download some free software from the app store. After pressing install, the iphone asks for itunes userid and password. When i first put credit onto my i pod it worked fine then it kept coming up with that message, i went into the apple store today and it worked straight away and when i first tried to download apps at home it worked fine, then it stopped again and came up with the same message. i know its not the internet connection because i can connect ok to the internet on both the i pod and my laptop.

Why does my Iphone 3 keep opening the ap store when I use Safari?

This just started happening. My phone keeps opening up the app store by its self. This happens when I am on a web site. I will then show I have 2 apps to update, but nothing needs updated. I have closed all open apps, cleared history and cookies and data in safari, and reset the phone. Nothing works. Can someone please help?

There is. You can go to Settings -> Safari -> Advanced and turn off JavaScript. That will break many websites though. Or, you can simply stop visiting the sites that are doing this, which would be my choice.

Can only see New apps in iPad app store

Seems kind of pointless to search for apps on the iPad app store, when it will only show you the "new" ones. When I choose any category, then click the show all button, I don't get all, just the "new" ones ... never more than about 97 or so. searching the same category in iTunes for just iPad apps will almost always yield far more choices. for example I can only see about 97 utilities for the iPad from my iPad app store, but in iTunes there are 260 choices. They aren't iPhone apps either. Another example, if I show the games category on the iPad I can only see 27 New and Noteworthy apps, and 24 What's hot apps. No more. In iTunes I have an additional option of a subcategory, for example Action, there are 200 games released for iPad since March 31st available in that one category.
Not sure if I have a preference set wrong, it's just a bug, or if someone just wasn't thinking. Mayabe it's a bandwidth thing, but at least give me the subcategories or let me see the "next" 50.

Why should I be forced to use iTunes to see all of the apps? The iPad app store should see everything just like iTunes.. This isn't an iPhone.
At least the link is some what helpful although quite slow going back and forth to app store to get details.

2. Tap on Apple ID>View Apple ID
4. Enter your password
5. Country/Region>Change Country or Region

TS3274 My iPad App Store suddenly all went into the Spanish lanuage when all else and my Setting identifies the language to be English. I cannot get it back to English. It appears to be related to an upgrade which is indicatd but I do not know.

Same here on my lpad2. Can access the web just fine from browsers but cannot install new apps or updates in appl store. Seeing a few others reporting same issue tonight so likely an apple server issue and staff will notice it in network monitors and fix it...sometime this weekend.

I have still got the problem, I have tried every thing suggested, I think it has something to go with my apple sign in, when signing in & putting in password it just goes grey as though I haven't signed in no error???. I can sign in to this forum with Apple ID, I am a beginner please any suggestions, I did try to make a new Apple ID, put in all detail credit card etc but I can not find it & no confirmation. IPad will be flying out of the window if I can't get it sorted.

Ipad App Store said "20" updates. I attempted to update w/3G. Now many apps say "Waiting" and are frozen. When I go online and plug into computer it just updates and doesn't address the individual apps, which still say "Waiting" and are frozen.

Also why is it that sometimes when the iPhone is syncing it will not say on the actual iPhone that it is syncing. I see it's syncing in iTunes but the iPhone doesn't have the typical do not disconnect -syncing message!!! What's odd is I can see the new apps being updated to the iPhone and as long as I don't open any apps it will finish it's sync but the minute I open any apps the iPhone will lock-up!!!

Yeah, I know I can restore it, but I might as well go ahead and try. I just finished a backup for icloud and itunes to make sure, I'll go ahead and restore it and set it up as new and see how that works. Seems like I have no other options at this point, I'd still like to know what they did with the Download tab in itunes store, if they removed it or if I'm just overlooking it.

"system cannot find the file specified" when launching a java app

Hi,
we are receiving an error message saying "The system cannot find the file specified" when launching a java app on a server. Exactly the same configuration on another server does not give the same problem.
The dialog box with the error message only presents one button - OK - and after pressing the button the app continues to run normally. This however is a big problem for us as we are trying to convert the apps into system services using the wrapper (http://wrapper.tanukisoftware.org).
Note: the problem exibits itself with and without the use of the wrapper.
I am not very comfortable about reinstalling the JRE on a production server. Is there any way to see what file it is missing? Debug options or something similar?
The JRE in question is 1.4.2_06. Many thanks in advance for your answers.

if not setting Post-Processing option results in a cryptic error why doesn't Adobe do one of at least three things?
1. Don't let user click Export on Export dialog if nothing's selected for Post-Processing.
2. Default Post-Processing to Do Nothing
3. Give the user a hint as to what the problem is when the error occurs instead of issuing cryptic error message.
Allowing this error to persist for so long is ridiculous.

Cannot Load the iTones Store page from iTones and collect apps Update

My iTune account and credit card am belonging to Hong Kong, but often travel to different countries. I have recently purchased iPhone and MacBook Pro, and also purchased some apps when I was staying in Hong Kong.
This week I visit Singapore and noticed that there are two purchased apps has update. When I click "Update All", it said it was disallowed for my account to download apps in Singapore.
After studying a lot of discussion thread, I think I neglected an important legal term that I cannot purchase or rental apps outside Hong Kong.
However, here I am not trying to access Singapore iTunes apps store, but only visit Hong Kong iTunes apps store. Would there be any possible way for me to only visit Hong Kong iTunes apps store and purchase or collecting apps update?
Right now, I even cannot use iTunes to access iTunes apps store home page. The loading of the iTunes apps store page would stop in the middle. Perhaps iTunes would really check my own public ip address. I connect to internet through Singapore local carrier 3G data access.
Now, many people in the world would travel or even move between countries frequently. Most of Apple fans are willing to spend money on valuable apps, songs or movies. It is pretty ridiculous for blocking us accessing other countries' iTunes store. Even it is copy right issues, at least it should allow me to access my own country iTunes apps store, when I am physically staying at oversea.
Please help suggest me any kind of solution for my situation.

After a month and I am back to Hong Kong, I called to local AppleCare for assistance. Finally my problem has to be fixed by resetting iTunes preference. Here below is the procedure:
0. Quit iTunes application
1. Click the Finder icon in the Dock.
2. Choose Go to Folder from the Go menu.
3. Type /Library/Preferences
4. Click Go.
5. In the Finder window, locate the file named com.apple.iTunes.*
6. Drag all those com.apple.iTunes.* files to desktop or trash
7. Open iTunes application
8. Follow the instruction to setup the iTunes again by clicking Yes
9. After loading all your original audio files, click to iTunes store and try Sign In
With above procedures, now I can access to iTunes and sign in with my account.
AppleCare also said this is part of regular iTunes troubleshooting procedure. She guided me to open a new testing user account in my Mac and open iTunes there. I found that I can access to iTunes Store and sign in with my account. Therefore, it means the iTunes access issue is not because of my computer internet connection issue, but related to my own Mac account iTunes preference setting. That's why she guided me with above procedure to reset iTunes preference.
She said there is a lot of solution about (-50) error documented in "http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3288".
I appreciate very much for this AppleCare technical support. She is so nice and patient for giving me instruction step by step. However, I forgot what her name is. She is worth for being praised.
