It has POP3 and SMTP settings that I can use to send and receive my e-mails via Outlook on my PC. However, it doesn't work on my iPad. MS Outlook Exchange 2010 Live Mail works OK with the same settings on my iPad but I would like to get all my mail via the iPad inbuilt application.

    POP3 accounts are really designed only to be used from one computer and some email providers actually 'lock' the account while in use to stop it being used by another computer/device at the same time.
    Try closing Outlook, wait some minutes then try accessing it from the iPad. You may find it works once the POP3 connection has been released.
    Ideally, you should be using IMAP because POP3 is old and not suitable for modern, multi-device usage.

    their Exchange databases aren't replicating.  While looking into this issue it seems that the problem is the Network Manager isn't started because the cluster service is failing.  Since the issue seems to be with the cluster service, and not Exchange,

    When the cluster service starts, it appears to start working, but within a few minutes the following is logged in the system event log.

    It seems that the problem is with the 169.254 address on the cluster virtual adapter.  An entry in the cluster.log file says: Aborting connection because NetFT route to node nodename on virtual IP 169.254.1.44:~3343~ has failed to come up. 
    In my experience, you never have to mess with the cluster virtual adapter.  I'm not sure what happened here, but I doubt it has been modified.  I need the cluster to communicate with its other nodes on our routed 10. network.  I've never experienced
    this before and found little in my searches on the subject.  Any idea how I can fix this?

    Hi,
    I suspected an issue with communication on UDP port 3343. Please confirm the set rules for port 3343 on all the nodes in firewall and enabled all connections for all the profiles
    in firewall on all the nodes are opened, or confirm the connectivity of all the node.
    Use ipconfig /flushdns to update all the node DNS register, then confirm the DNS in your DNS server entry is correct.

    My iphone 4 will not send and receive text messages at random times.  My brother has the same phone, lives in the same home and doesn't have this problem.  I can't receive messages without my iphone displaying a message asking for my phone number at random times.     I've been an AT&T customer since they were under different names in the 90s and have never heard/seen that. I would check with them. I'd really like to see that error. To get a screenshot on the phone, press the home button and sleep/wake button together quickly and release. You will see the screen flash slightly and hear the camera shutter noise.

    Did you reboot the phone by holding the home and sleep/wake buttons together at same time for 10 seconds?

    Let me know the Model number of the same .....
    Becuase the issue you are facing is not related to the Adapter ..... but thereare few settings we can change on the router .....

    Got a Blackberry 8530 Curve, have done what it requests in setting up e-mail. When trying to send an e-mail it says to configure e-mail, when try to configure it says that e-mail is already set up but will still not send ot receive. Just about ready to tape it to a brick and return it through the window!!!

    I'm not sure what that would accomplish.
    Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner:
    With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescirbed for most gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
    Now, try your email again.
    If still nothing, look at Options > Advanced > Default Services.
    Do you have your email account listed as the default messaging agent?
    If yes, then also do this:

  • Whatsapp not sending and receiving msgs on my BB Classic

    I have been using my BlackBerry Classic for the past 6 months. I constantly check for updates for the phone software along with the application installed and update them in time.
    I have been using whatsapp on my mobile data services and never faced an problem in sending or receiving all kinds of msgs, images, voice msgs and videos etc but for the past couple of days whatsapp is not performing the it's tasks properly. It gave some pop up error or caution like "Request Denied" I exactly don't remember but definitely something like this.
    Now the issue, when I usually send a msg to any contact in whatsapp it shows the clock besides the msgs as it is awaiting to be sent but until and unless I turn off and on my mobile network radio then the msg awaiting sign "clock" turns in to a "tick" sign as msg has been sent. I constantly have to repeat this process over and over again.
    Up till now I have uninstalled and again installed the app in light of which I thought the problem will be resolved but unfortunately it didn't.
    I would really like you guys to help me and guide me to resolve this matter.

  • Kin one not sending and receiving some of my text messages?

    I've had my kin one for several months now (mine is used as a feature phone, no data package). I was having no problems up until now.
    in the past week or so, I've noticed that I'm not getting some of my text messages. also, some people are not receiving some messages I send.
    plus, when I send a message, normally it pops up right away in the thread, so I can read what I just sent. lately, it's not doing that anymore. if I want to read what I just sent, I have to back out to the main menu, and then go back to that contact's message thread to read it.
    is anyone else having these issues?  I wonder if they're going to get worse.....

    Both, the official route to RIM support is via your carrier - if they are seeing no issues on their network, and they have followed through the standard fault diagnoses steps - reboot, resend service books, remove and re-add email address then they should escalate the issue into RIM for their support.
