I cannot open Lightroom. I keep getting the message: "This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose "switch to" to activate the program and correct the problem.

I have used my task manager to check to see if another version was open and that did not help. I've signed in and out of CC, that didn't help. The only thing that works is shutting down my computer and restarting. That only lasts for awhile and if I leave it open too long LR doesn't respond and I have to start all over. This just began doing this in the last few days, a few days before that I updated. I am pretty new to LR so any help would be appreciated.

I did the search feature and did locate the .LOCK file (it actually came up with the .LRCAT file) I deleted it but it didn't work. LR will not open and I keep getting the original message I posted, and the only way I can shut down that screen (none of the options will work) is to go into task manager and shut it down.

Check out the article below on troubleshooting iTunes start up issues. You may need to start up in Safe Mode or even remove iTunes and its associated software and reinstall iTunes.

I had the same problem with some apps and printer setup software. SInce Rosetta has been discontinued on Lion my only solution was to restore to 10.6 since the manufacturers either have not yet or will not release updated apps. In this case you have to determine how important those old PPC apps are to keep around and if there alternitives that are available to replace the functionality. I would expect a broadband provider to update thier apps if it is something that is required to connect.

The weird thing is that I downloaded the film from iTunes and while it was downloading I was watching it with my kids on my IMac. Once it had finished downloading I went with them to the living room Tao carry on watching on our apple tv. The apple TV wouldn't play it and said I needed to authorise my Pc, then the IMac gave the message above and I haven't been able to play it since. All my other downloaded films play. I am running iTunes version 10.2.2. And my iMac is Running Snow Leopard OS 10.6.7. Anyone who can shed some light on this weird situation will have my upmost thanks

I have the same problem. Been trying to find some answers, but not a lot of info about this. It seems to happen only when:
- itunes library is stored remote (NAS or external HD)
- starting a movie/show before download has finished will make it fail next time you try to start
Hope this gets fixed soon.. it's making purchasing content via itunes a hassle

You cannot run Photoshop CS on a new Intel-based Mac running OS X Mavericks. CS is far too old.
You'll have to buy Photoshop CS6 or Photoshop Elements 12. Or subscribe to CC.

The disk where the volume I need to upgrade is 250.06 GB Hitachi, the partition window (current) does not have a blue marker for the used data space, so there is no way to resize it.

I just checked your account, and see that it's active. Are you trying to sign in via Adobe Reader? If so, please choose Help > Check for Updates in Reader and make sure that it-s up-to-date. The most current version, 11.0.07, should alleviate that sign-in error.
