I cannot open my iWeb anymore
How can i open my former Iweb . It went normaly. Now after the 30 th of june it doesn't work anymore
and we cannot see our web anymore
This has nothing whatsoever to do with iWeb - iWeb is just an application on your Mac and you can use it and 30th June or otherwise has no effect on it at all.
It is MobileMe that shut down on 30th June this year and yes of course your website will not work any longer because the MobileMe servers have shut down and if you wanted your website to continue, then you should have signed up with another web host long before 30th June and moved your website there.
Apple sent out e-mails to all MobileMe users a year ago to inform them that MobileMe was shutting down, so you have had at least one year to find alternative hosting and move your site.
Go and sign up with another web host and move your site and purcahse a domain name if you need to - have a look at GoDaddy and HostExcellence for starters and there are more.
Also, search this forum for answers.

Have you tried to restart the Creative Cloud application by quitting and relaunching it, and have you updated to the latest version?
You could try to reinstall using the full three step way:
Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

Cannot open my libraries anymore since 10.0.8 upgrade
Hello,
I just apply the 10.0.8 upgrade on my iMac under Yosemite and now, I cannot open my libraries anymore ...
I have a message : "Impossible to delete "___Sync___".
I have more than 20 libraries and all have the same problem.
There was no problem before the upgrade.
Do you have an idea ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
ThierryNot being able to delete something could be a permissions problem. If your libraries are on an external hard disk make sure right click on the disk icon in the Finder and right click - Get Info. Make sure "Ignore ownership on this volume" is checked (bottom of info window). You could also repair permissions on your boot drive.

Either try rebuilding the library, or after Aperture launches check to make sure it's pointing at your Aperture library and didn't choose somewhere else... though in that case you would have just an empty workspace, not no workspace at all.
It could be that reinstalling Aperture would fix this. -
I cannot open my Ipad, maybe it got stacked up. The iMessage was accidentally opened and I don't have a password for it in order to open. I cannot even slide it to open. What shall I do?
Try resetting your iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
Cannot open pdf attachments anymore without saving them
I cannot open PDF files that come in as attachments (Adobe Reader 9) I have had this problem for two days. Before the, it was no problem at all. Now, for me to open an attachment, I have to save it first and then open it via My computer or via Adobe Reader and file open. The file association is there, set FOR Adobe Reader to open all pdf files. So what is the problem? It is a time consuming pain to have to save an attachment just to open it.
Thanksthanks for the suggestion...I was sure it was going to work, but it didn't...when I restarted after performing the fix, the problem is still there...

Customized Workspace Cannot open PDF forms anymore
Hello,
I have customizaed my workspace with Flex Builder 3, Flex SDK 2 Hotfix 3. In previous months, everything is ok, and my workspace with IE 7.0 can open PDF forms inside processes. However, I do not know what is changed, my previous customized workspaces and new customized workspace can not open PDFs inside IE, but works on Mozilla Firefox. I have also tested workspace source without changing anything and deploying my server. However it still can not open PDFs, blank part is shown inside the PDF frame.
It gives an javascript error, 'undefined' is null or not an object is given

What can be the problem,
Any prompt answers will be appreciated.
AsiyePDF forms can be created using Acrobat or LiveCycle but the basic structure of the forms created are very different. If the form is created by Acrobat then Adobe Mobile Reader can open the form. If the form is created by LiveCycle then Adobe Mobile Reader cannot open the form and I suspect there maybe no iOS app that can process the form.
As noted, you need to use a computer to fill-in the form. You also might want to inform the bank about the issue. -
Cannot open Preview software anymore.
I cannot open Preview. I get a message that "it may be damaged or incomplete". Any help will be appreciated.
Back up all data, if you haven't already done so. Boot from your 10.6 installation DVD by inserting it, restarting, and holding down the C key until the Apple logo appears. Run the installer. After rebooting, run Software Update to bring the system up to date.

Cannot open word document anymore since last update.
I have a Macbook Air, bought in july 2013. I've done all the updates as suggested. But since the last one I suddenly cannot open certain files that were mailed to me. On my Iphone I can still read them. Every time I try to open a word document in my mail, it's not opening, and I get the suggestion to buy I Works.
I am not very good at understanding why this suddenly happens, and what I can do to be able to open the file.
It's not a problem if I do need to buy this new software I works, but which one should I buy then?
I hope someone can explain to me what I need to do, hopefully in an understandeble way, thanks!!
MrtjI believe I understand now. You "upgraded" from OS X 10.6.x Snow Leopard to OS X 10.9x Mavericks when you bought the MBA, didn't you? And now your copy of MS Office 2004, which I suspect was copied over from your previous computer, no longer works. Look in the /Applications folder and see if there is a folder for Microsoft Office and see if there is a year in the name.
You have three choices.
1. You can purchase the most recent version of MS Office. This will ensure full document compatibility across platforms.
2. You can purchase Pages from the Mac App Store, which will allow you to open edit and save Word files. Although it is not a seamless process and documents with complex formatting and/or tables might not preserve their attributes when opened in Pages.
3. You can download and install an open source office replacement such as Libre Office or Open Office. Although the same caveats apply as with Pages. -
Office 2013 cannot open older files anymore (word and excel 1997-2003)!!!
on that machine in question open an elevated CMD prompt and run
SFC /SCANNOW
Report back any errors foundHi Guys,For some reason 1 of our customers has one specific share (and folder in this share) that get all kind of big issues with the older file version from Microsoft word Microsoft Excel.
They cannot open, copy, send through mail as attachment etc. those kind of documents. First we thought it perhaps had something to do with the robocopy we did a month ago, but that seems to be to long ago (we can recover from the backup 1 day ago and those files works fine). We have already checked if word can open the files (and not get blocked withtin the potion of word) and that is default settings. We also checked recovering files back with and without the permissions from the file. Also this works both when we recover it.They now work on a vm with server 2012 R2 (hypervisor (hyper-v) is also server 2012 r2). They work with DFS, dedup and FSRM...

Good morning
I have a strange problem, first time it has ever occured to me. I have a big file that cannot be opened anymore. The shortcut to the file doesn't open the file either.
The documents inside the file can be opened from the spotlight selection but it obliges me to remember all the name of all the secondary files and individual documents in it.
All the other files in My Documents work perfectly.
I thought I could change the name of the file but am afraid to do so and loose the content. For the month being I can't have access to my Timemachine because my external disk is in another home. But I'd like to solve the problem before using Time machine (I would loose all my changes in those files.
Working with OSX Lion and all software updated.
Does anybody have a hint of what could be done?
Thanks a lot for your suggestion.
CathyHello
I find a solution and post it here in case it should help somebody else.
Il used the "copy this file" action and it created another identical file with "copy" added. And I opened this one perfectly. Then I just delete the original which could not open.
I don't understand why but it works so why bother?

Cannot open Logic 9 anymore after recovering to original Lion.
Hi there!
I have a Mac mini, osx 10.7.5m 2Ghz Intel Core i7, 8GB 1333 Mhz DDR3.
I have the original box of logic 8 & the box to upgrade to Logic 9 as well.(Logic Studio V2.1 Upgrade Pro)
I updated my system to Mavericks and all the applications were running very slowly, so I decided to do
an Internet recovery back to original Lion.Everything is working fine beneath Logic.I deleted all the logic files with mackeeper,
and migrated the Logic 8 from my macbook, but still not working. It says:
"Logic Pro cannot be opened because of a problem.
Check with the developer to make sure Logic Pro works with this version of Mac OS X.You may need to reinstall the application.Be sure to install any available updates for the application and Mac OS x."
What shall I did, retry Internet Recovery again, buy and install mountain Lion, reinstall the whole Logic Upgrade (will it double the files from library/appsupport/logic and library/audio/apple that I manually copied onto the folders?)...thanks for replyng, I' ve been stuck for a while and don' t know how to solve the problem.Mackeeper......... One of the worse apps you can ever install and use on your Mac as it can and does cause all kinds of issues....
Then to add to that.. you used Migration Assistant which also is know to cause similar issues when used to move LP and it's content around....
Yuur best bet is start from fresh and reinstall everything from scratch including formatting your Hard drive, resinatllong your OS X and Logic and it's content... 3rd party plugins and so on...and then manually move your personal data, projects etc over to the newly setup HD
Its a pain I know but frankly it is the best way of resolving such issues normally and it will likely save you many a headachein the future too.
But.... before that.. just try this...
Download Permissions reset from here...
http://www.ohanaware.com/permissionsreset/
...and reset permissions for your Logic Pro application and see if that fixes things... It's a long shot but worth a try before having to do all the other stuff. -
MS Access Web App: corrupted table, cannot open in Access anymore
**tldr: How can I delete a corrupted table that prevents me from opening my Web App in Access?**
I used the Access desktop client to create a new table with approx 20 lookup fields. When I tried saving the table, I received an error message about too many indices. So I set the index option to "no" for all the lookup fields and tried to close
the "edit table view". However, I was not able to close the edit table view anymore. After trying for a while, I used the task manager to terminate Access.
Now, when I try to open my app in Access by clicking the "customize in Access" button on the web, I receive several error messages:
1. Operation failed: the table xxx contains too many indices. Delete some indices and try again. (this error message appears about 5 times)
2. Microsoft Access can not create the table
3. A problem occurred when trying to access a property or method of the OLE object.
Next, I'm at the Access start screen. My application does not open.
So, is there any other way I can delete the corrupted table without opening it through the Access client? Maybe directly accessing the SQL server? The database is configured to allow read/write connections, becasue I connected to the tables from an Access Desktop
Database, but I'm not sure if I can delete a table or fields that way. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Not sure, but you may have to many indexes created, see below article:
Indexes on a Table
Hope its not corrupted though. If so, I hope you have a backup in place.
Try to Compact & Repair and also check below article:
Recovering from Corruption

Cannot open different iweb site folder from iweb 8, help?
Hi
I've made 1 site which is my website located on my hard disc. Fine.
But I imported (exported folders) another iweb site which was made on another mac butit will not open on my laptop in iweb? How can I open it?
I'm sorry if this is a daft question.
Thanks
ZahidHi there,
If what you did is publishing to a folder and you're now trying to access those pages it's not gonna work...
The only way to move iWeb pages from one computer to another is to move the Domain.sites2 file where iWeb stores its files. To find that file go to
User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/Domain.sites2
If you can’t find it here search for it with spotlight. Note that the extension .sites (iWeb 1.0) or .sites2 (iWeb 2.0) may be hidden, also search for Domain only. To see if a Domain file is iWeb ’06 or iWeb ’08 select the file press Command(Apple)+i under "Name & Extension" you will find that it is .sites or .sites2.
To get the site showing up in iWeb just open the Domain.sites file by double clicking on it and your sites and pages will show up on the left side in the iWeb page browser. Note that the location, where you put the file, doesn’t matter.
Note that you have to change permissions of the Domain file to be able to edit, save changes and publish a website from another user account and from another computer as well.
Select Domain file press Command(Apple)+i under Ownership & Permissions go to =>Details =>Others and select Read & Write
You have to do that in the original user account and computer in which the Domain file was created.
If you don’t change permissions you will find an error while publishing and saving.

I cannot open my iWeb site with any browser
I have had an iWeb site which has been live for about a month. It has been working perfectly. It still appears to be working well within iWeb. I can make changes and publish changes.
When I now search the internet using any browser, it says
[Safari] can't open the page "http://www.mydomain.com" because the server where this page is located isn't responding.
I have checked my .mac account and everything seems to be fully functional. Why has my site suddenly disappeared off the internet?HI and Welcome to Apple Discussions...
Try deleting thesee files.
com.apple.mobileme.configuration
com.apple.mobilemesyncclient
Here's the path: ~/Library/Caches/
Move those files to the Trash and retart your Mac.
Try to access your site. If that didn't help...
With iWeb open from the Menu Bar click File/Visit Published site
Then go to File/Publish Entire Site to MobileMe and see if that helps...
If not more help here. http://web.me.com/YourMobileMeAccount/
Also, In your Finder: Go/ iDisk / My iDisk which will mount your iDisk on your Desktop if it is't alerady there. Open your iDisk then go to the iDisk/ Web / Sites folder to see if your website folder is there along with an index.html file.
You can read posts from iWeb users on Facebook also.
