Today i cannot open the old file, but i can create and open the new file. I try to shut down the ipad and reopen it, but it is the same. What should i do?

You will find that it is the size of the photos which are the problem. Give it time - let the wheel churn!
Other considerations -
Try sending her some to see what happens.
Get you wife to send a single photo to see what happens!

If you will take the time to send Apple feedback, they will add RAW support - when I got my Canon, it wasn't supported either. I filed feedback and, two months, later, there was an update which included my camera model.

Error Happened at RFC Server Cannot Open the Job Batch File.

We have BW 7.0 and Data services 12.1. We are scheduling a Infopackage in BW that triggers a job in Dataservices server.
We had checked the connection between Dataservices source system in BW and RFC server on Dataservices side and these connections are good. on the 3rd party sellections tab in infopackage we specify the batch file name that we exported in Dataservices server. When we execute the infopackage we get the following error.
Error Happened at RFC Server Cannot Open the Job Batch File.
This error started occuring from yesterday and prior to that it was working fine. We are not understanding what changed in the system to cause this error.
Can anyone suggest any solutions for the above issue.

I'm not sure what the root cause would be here. Is the file still available ? Did file permissions change ? ...
But I wanted to point your attention to the fact that in Data Services/Data Integrator XI 3.2 (=12.2) we significantly enhanced the integration with BW. In XI 3.2, the RFC server is now integrated into the Data Services Management Console (so no need to start as a seperate executable) and you can start jobs from BW by just specifting the job's name in the repo (no need anymore to export execution commands to .bat files). So if upgrading to XI 3.2 is an option, things should go much smoother.

When installing Quichktime or iTunes, the installer displays ""The system cannot open the device or file specified."
What should I do?

I was getting this problem too. To resolve I did the following.
Physically disconnected PC from network.
Stopped Anti Virus (Evira personal).
Turned off Windows Firewall.
Stopped Malware detection (PrevX).
Installed iTunes + Quicktime.
Restarted above security programs.
Reconnected to network.
Problem sorted.

I figured it out myself. The temp folder that the program was using was encrypted. I removed the encryption and it installed fine.

I went to open a .mov file I wanted to re-edit and only Quicktime was given as an option. I've tried to create a new event with the new imovies and that isn't happening either. How to do either of these simple things would be appreciated.

The new iMovie is only going to accept certain formats and codecs. You should re-export or re-save your movie files from QuickTime to a new format. You may notice a "(converted)" in the title bar of some of your movies as they are opened in QT. QT is now converting movies into more "acceptable" codecs as it loads them into memory.
After export, they should be acceptable in iMovie.

I cannot get the sound working on my nearly new Ipad. It originally worked. But not anymore

Can someone help me with a sound issue on my Ipad2. It was working normally. But having installed apps I later rmoved, it does not work anymore. Even a total reset did not help so far. Is this a known issue?

Assuming that you havn't turned the volume right down, have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound. Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Pages 08 won't open my old pages file

I just upgraded to Pages 08 and when I try to open the file I was working on yesterday, with the previous version of pages, it says "The document...couldn't be opened". How can I open the old pages file with the new version?

It may be useful to trash the preferences file:

But I'm afraid that the document is corrupted.
Control click its icon then select the "Show package's contents" in the contextual menu.

The described message is displayed when there is no "index.xml.gz" (or "index.xml") file.
It is also displayed when the "index.xml.gz" (or "index.xml") is badly formed.

version but probably around v.5 or so. I have all the source files
and fonts and I'd like to reconstruct FreeHand files in version 10
or even 9 if possible. Problem is I can't open the old FreeHand
files through the menu options or by dragging the files onto the
app icons.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I downloaded FreeHand BNDL
Resources from FreeHandSource.com a while back but they didn't seem
to do anything. Any help is appreciated.

Are you on a Mac? If your version of Freehand can open the
version the
file was saved as you can open the file by dragging it to the
application icon while holding down the option and apple
keys.
