I cannot open yahoo mail in your browser anymore...after I downloaded 4 it began I then down graded and still I cannot open yahoo mail . I can open in explorer. I need answeres fast or will maybe switch to google chrome.

Also Panda turned out to be the problem and I stop the Panda URL filtering to solve the problem. Not sure what other risks that brings on though.

I keep asking questions about problems and see them posted in the "support" forum and usually with a note about how many other users have this problem. There are never any answers or replies even though some of the number for others with the problem are huge.

I also have the same problem, but the Software Updates tool doesn't recognise that Quicktime is out of date. Have you tried downloading Quicktime 7.7 Leopard from http://support.apple.com/downloads/#quicktime as this worked for me...?

Itunes can't read korean characters since switching to google chrome
I switched to google chrome and for some reason every song with Korean hangul characters on my itunes turns into square boxes. I have songs with Japanese kanji on my itunes but I see them perfectly, it's only Korean characters.
This happened before but I switched back to firefox (which solved the problem). I really don't wanna go back to firefox though...is there any way to fix this?Eduardo Kim hello,
If you select the iTunes Icon in your applications folder and get info you will see the Languages tab check and see what is available... to get the correct Korean version as there is more than one start system preferences and choose international > languages... use the help files to find what you need to know by clicking on the Question mark...

I just downloaded a video in HD, but I found out after the download was over my computer doesn't play HD videos. Is there any way I can return the video and get the SD version, or upgrade my computer so it will play the HD video?

Were you having problems?
If you were those problem may be related to a failing hard drive and that is why the TM backup could be restored.
In you topic header you say the system won't boot from the SL DVD, But it di for you to wipe the drive. Then it should again boot from the SL DVD.
Insert the DVD and reboot, hold down the Option key and select the Optical drive, SL DVD, as the Boot source. -

Here (at work) we have in the past have had IMAP and SMTP enabled on our Exchange server so Thunderbird could then connect just like to any other regular internet-based service.
With the change here to outlook365/outlook 2010 I've had to switch to using DavMail which lets Thunderbird talk to the mail server using OWA.
I haven't (seriously) tried Exquilla. Whilst I have great respect for its author and some of his other add-ons, I saw no reason to use an add-on that required payment when DavMail works for free. -
I have tried restarting it, drainging the battery, resetting it to factory settings, restting the general settings and every possbile thing. The reason I need this Ipod to work is because although the first iPods camera does work, the screen is no longer responsive in the middle. HELP.
If you restored to factory setting/new iPod and still have the problem time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

I-MAIL. Can receive but not send. Suddenly outgoing SMTP will not function.
I-Mail. Can receive mail but not send. Pass 2 wks. Outgoing SMTP server says I'm OFFLINE. Tried the following ----Mail, Preferences, Out Mail server, made sure it didn't say NONE. Hit edit, went to following page, typed my user name & passwd-----Still get drop down window --- says SMTP server rejected passwd 4 my acct. If can't resolve, off to the GENIUS.

In boot sequence the computer hangs in the logo screen and makes a long abnormal sound. The only thing that helps is by removing my mouse.
I have read that the NEO platinum has a ps/2 problem.
My questions.:
- Why did this happen, It has been working for 2years now, and the ps/2 ports just suddenly dies.
- My bios has not been set-up with the usb function..
- And I use linux and it will not support the keyboard as plug&play...

Could you enable USB in BIOS and try a USB mouse, as suggested before?
Did you flash the BIOS recently?

I cannot attach files to my gmail or my att yahoo. On gmail I can only attach one at a time. Att yahoo, none will attach. This has just change in the last couple of weeks, before that there was no problem attaching files to either account. Finally frustrated beyond my limit, I switched to I Explorer and attached three files and everything worked fine. Hence, it must be aFirefox problem, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Help!
I have the same problem as well in both my PowerBook & my gf's PC laptop. Ever since we updated to 7.6.2 we have been unable to add/import any songs to iTunes Library. I tried File>Open, double-click file on desktop, drag & drop, but nothing works. Songs count stays the same value so to confirm nothing has been added to it. All other functions worked fine including playing, streaming, burning, sync to iPhone/iPod nano, etc.
I'm on TiBook G4 with 10.4.11, while my gf's PC is on WinXP-SP2. Both machines have all the latest updates. On both machines we did uninstall & reinstall iTunes but didn't help. On the Mac side I also deleted the pref files to ensure a clean install.
We can't do anything right now but to wait for the next update comes and hopefully the problem will be corrected. -
