I cannot paste pictures into the body of an email whether on Gmail or AOL. It is very frustrating. Can you help?

I cannot paste pictures from a website or a document into the body of an email. I use Gmail and AOL and cannot insert pictures. No problem on my old PC, just my MacBookPro. Using MountainLion.
Any instructions to solve my problem?

So I can just put my output variable into the email body variable.... since it's a table with headers should I do anything special for formatting the table?
My output now looks like :

I can open up a photo from my "Pictures" file In Internet Explorer, copy it, then paste it into the body of my email message ( I use Earthlink webmail). I see the picture fine.
When I try to do the same procedure by opening, copy and pasting in Firefox, a box appears with a photo icon, but no photo. Even when I press "view image" it will not show the picture.
What am I missing?

Product trials can easily be converted for unrestricted use without the necessity to reinstall the software in most cases."
However, I cannot load pictures into the photomerge panorama window either from' browse' or 'add open files'. When I select either way nothing happens.This happens if I enter panorama from photo editor and/or organizer.

It seems your Samba is denying access to these files & dirs. My best guess would be that either the Samba user is not allowed to write (and read) those (in which case you'd have to modify the permissions accordingly) or Samba sets, when the share is mounted, the permissions such that your user is not allowed to read and write (you may in this case try to just set permissions for you to allow you what you want to do; or use "create mask" or "directory mask" or "writable" in your samba config. ).
Also, what do the logs say about this? According to your samba conf they are in /var/log/samba/%m.log where %m is the hostname or IP.

Copying a complete Address Book entry into the body of an email?

Is there a neat way (other than Copy/Paste one chunk at a time!!) to get a complete Address Book entry complete into the body of an email in plain text (NOT as a V-Card), if I want to send to someone who doesn't use an Address Book on their computer ?

The only way to do what you are asking about is to create an html email. This is possible and assuming you are using Leopard, you can use Mail to do this. Start a new email and select the Stationary button that by default is on the right corner of the new email message window.
Pages cannot be used to create html code and the only way to use Pages to create your newsletter would be to create a PDF and attach it. The other possible option would be to send your email with a link to a webpage. You could experiment with using the Share to iWeb function and see if this could work for you. (Since I swore off - not to mention at - iWeb some time ago I don't know how well this would work.)

The problem is defining what it even means to “embed” a PDF file in the body of an e-mail, especially if you are dealing with a multiple page PDF file.
E-mail is either pure text, rich text (something akin to RTF in Word), or HTML. PDF is not compatible with any of these. Thus, to embed a PDF file, something has to be converted and that means the PDF would be converted to a less graphically rich raster format. But is that what you would really want?
I think that the MacOS and iOS e-mail clients do under some circumstances place an attached PDF file within HTML segments and by clicking on same, you get the equivalent of extracting the full PDF file, but I have no real experience with that.
Another alternative is HTML with a proxy image with a hyperlink to an external PDF file that is invoked when you click on the hyperlink.
Perhaps you can explain what you are really trying to accomplish and what the recipient of such an e-mail's actual experience would be?

Sounds like the Word file may have right justification. You can turn that off within Word.
You can also save the file as a pdf using these instructions:

and send the pdf instead.

Why does my Apple Mail insert old messages into the body of new emails? The correct sender's name will appear in the "From" column, but an old message from a different sender in the body. This happens randomly. I have an iMac OSX 10.6.8. I recently had the hard drive cleaned, but Apple Mail seemed to be running fine when I set it up again. Could this be a virus? You (or your kids) inadvertently installed adware. You do not need to download or install anything to fix it.

You're going to have to get that info about his iTunes account if it's on iOS 7. Does it at least show the username it needs?

I can attach images to an email but I cannot copy and paste them into the email itself. I have been trying to find an Insert button but have been unable to do so. My setting is html, not plain text.

Holding the shift key while clicking the Write button toggles to the opposite of what your account settings are. So if your account settings are for HTML, holding the shift while opening a Write window will switch to Plain Text or vise versa.
I am not sure what your issue with making this work is.
Check your account settings and see what your default is set to.

Is the option to compose in HTML checked?
Are you using an encryption add on of some kind? They force the composition to plain text.
