I cannot print from elements 11 or 12. No problem from v9 or any other program
I installed photoshop elents 11 then upgraded it to 12 and find it will not print. I have no problem when I use Version 9 or any other program. I am using Apple OS 10.10

Cannot print to Adobe Acrobat X from any other program
I recently installed Acrobat X on my Windows XP3 system. Previously, the Adobe Printer installed by the Acrobat 8 was accessible from any other program. I simply chose the Adobe PDF printer and the documents "printed" to Acrobat. With the Acrobat X install, this no longer works.
I've tried repairing the Acrobat X - no luck
I've tried deleting the Adobe PDF printer and then allowing Acrobat to re-install the printer during the repair - no luck
I've checked the Adobe PDF printer properties, and do not have "Enable advanced printing features" checked.
I am using the print spooler.
The Adobe PDF printer is using the Adobe PDF Converter driver.
I've read through a number of discussions/posts, and have not found a solution. I am working around the problem by printing to pdfFactory program and then saving as a .pdf, then managing the files in Acrobat X.
If anyone is aware of a solution/location, please respond to this post.Are you saying there is no Adobe PDF printer, or it does not work? If it simply that it does not seem to work, then try to print to file with the printer. Then open the file in Distiller. If you get a resultant PDF, then the problem is most likely that you have somehow deactivated AcroTray.exe in the running applications. The program is in the Acrobat folder and needs to be started in that case. It should also be listed in your boot sequence for startup.

Since the last update I have been unable to print from Firefox. No problem printing from Safari or any other program. I've seen a few responses to this problem but only to people running Windows. I'm on a Mac running v. 10.5.8.
Also when I click on the link in my email to activate my account (in the hopes that a solve will be emailed to me) I get this message -
"Something is wrong
We could not activate your account. Please make sure that you have clicked the correct link in your email or typed in the correct address."
Same message if I cut and paste the link. -

The Firefox window pops up on a regular interval (I think every 5 or 10 min) when any other program is being used, even when a film is playing in full screen mode from Firefox. It does not happen if Firefox is not running (i.e. it does not start by itself). The OS is Windows 7 SP1 and this begun after installing the Firefox update 5.0.1. All of a sudden I can't access my iPhoto files from any other programs (ie Photoshop, facebook etc.). It just gives me this message below. What the **** changed? This wasn't happening yesterday.
1 - close iPhoto.
2 - go to your Pictures folder and open the iPhoto Library package as shown below:
3 - locate a file named AlbumData.xml and move it to the Desktop.
4 - launch iPhoto.
5 - relaunch the other programs and try the media browser again.

hi, I need the program of access from the office, so i'm going to but the Microsoft office 365 university, will i have to but any other program to use the access from my mac? or to open any database that I will have did from any other computer (not mac)?
There has never been a Mac version of Access. Microsoft never created one, realising that it was very inferior to the FileMaker Pro database application.
So if you must run Access you will have to run Windows on your mac. -
Upon opening LR I receive a "Server Busy" dialoge box: "This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy program and correct the problem." I have no other programs open and when I wait a bit it clears with the 'retry' button. Happened following a recent update. I'd really like this to go away - any ideas?
For me this happens when I have Zenfolio or Facebook open in Google Chrome, even if Google Chrome is not active. If you use Chrome, when the error shows up open Chrome and close each one of the tabs and click on the retry in Lightroom. Also happens if Internet explorer is running with either of these two programs.

Is the AppleID listed in Settings --> Store and Settings --> iCloud the same?
If it is a totally different ID and not a slight variation of yours, I would definitely take it back to the store. You may have bought a returned item that had been setup previously. -
Cannot print to an HP Officejet 5610 anything from PSE Version 10
Help! I'm using Adobe Photoshop Elements Version 10 and I cannot print anything either directly from it, or even anything created out of it to my HP Officejet 5610 series printer. I am not having the same issue that others have reported with the Fax Window coming up, nothing prints at all. It doesn't even go into the Print Queue. I have been discussing (on a forum) with HP and they have suggested using the Deskjet 990C driver. I tried that and still nothing happens. I can print to a Canon Pixma with no issue, it's definitely something with this printer/print driver. I tried renaming the printer to make it shorter, I have tried completely deleting and reinstalling the printer (using HP Cleanup utility), I have updated drivers, tried using the 5610 as well as the 450C and 990C.
This is happening directly out of PSE as well as anything I create and save - so making it a PDF, it won't print. Making it a JPG, it won't print. I can print PDF files not created in PSE with no issue. I can print JPGs not created by PSE with no issue.
Anyone have any other suggestions on things I can try?Hi,
Can you try some experiments please - or tell us if you have tried them.
1) Load a new image (one that hasn't been saved before) into the editor and without saving it, try printing from the editor. It is important that PSE hasn't saved it.
2) Load any image into the editor and do a Save for Web (you may have to reduce the size) in JPG format and see if you can print that JPG either from PSE or another program.
Please let us know the results.

Cannot print documents after I downgraded internet explorer from version 8 back to 7.
Hello, Due to internet problems, I recently changed my internet explorer from Beta version 8 back to version 7. Everything on my PC seems to be working fine except for printing. I cannot print to my HP officejet J5780 all in one. When I try to print an error message shows up in the print queue and it says printer offline. The printer was set as default but I wonder if something was modified in the print setup when I reverted back to an older version of Explorer. If I try to deinstall/reinstall I get an error saying I could permanently damage the printer configuration. Also if I try to check HP drivers and software on the HP website it says I need to update but fails to download the necessary files. Please advise.
first thing to check is make sure it is still a default printer
and go to properties and check for the port and make
sure it say what the port your printer that it is using
like a pareled or usb or TCP\IP connections
and if the TCP\IP check for the correct IP of the printer
and you may want to set the printer to "static"
this will keep it from changing IPs
and you may have to uninstall and reinstall
the printer
download the file manually
make sure you know where it is saved at
for IE click save not run
for Fire Fox but first go to the tool
and click option and look in the main tab
in the middle of the box click the circle
"Always ask where to save the file"
and make sure you know where you put
the download at

I cannot print in photoshop elements 10 organizer. I can, however, print in the edit mode- one picture per page. I have already tried updating my printer (Cannon MP560, wireless) driver- it was already up to date. And of course restarting photoshop and my computer. Any ideas? No errors pop up- it just acts like i never hit print. Nothing appears in the printer que. So frustrating!!! It worked the first time- but hasn't since.Yeah, Windows 7, 64 bit. I tried adobe customer support, but they want me to pay for help. ugh... soo frustrated!!

PAPER TRAY SUCKS. CANNOT PRINT OUT PHOTOS, TRAY ONLY ACCEPTS PAPER FROM BOTTOM TRAY. GRRRR.
My BRAND NEW (One week from delivery) no longer prints out photos. It printed out photos several times but 3 days' ago it stopped.
The paper tray is malfunctioning. Each time I try to print out a photo (remember, it's been done several times until a few days' ago) THE TRAY WILL NOT ACCEPT PAPER FROM THE TOP TRAY!!
