I cannot print from thunderbird, i need help now.

I use the Daily Thunderbird and It has just stopped being able to print.
Other Programs print.
My config-editor does not include a printer.print line like suggested in some solutions.
I tried resetting all boldened font in config-editor with no change
Started in safe mode
I have reinstalled printer drivers
I may have to stop using thunderbird.

I suggest you use the release build instead of a developer build if minor bugs are of such import to you you want to change mail clients. Daily does not come with a guarantee that it will even start.
Thunderbird has a release version, a beta, an alpha (earlybird) and a developer build (Nightly). While nightly builds tend to be fairly stable, I have had ones that simply crashed over and over, had no write button and a myriad of other odd regressions from changes
As this is a testing bug, have you looked for entries in Bugzilla and filed a bug if you can find nothing relevant? see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/

Please can someone help - I have an ipad and an air printer (Canon MX435). I am trying to print from the ipad to the printer but it cannot find any air printers - please could someone help.

You can see what wifi network your iPad is using as follows:
* Open the Settings app (looks like one large gear and two small ones).
* The second entry in the left column should be "Wi-Fi" with one or more words to the right of that.
* If the part to the right of "Wi-Fi" says "Off", you are not connected to wifi at all.
* Otherwise, the part to the right is the name of the current network.
You should have had to select a network when you first brought the printer home and set it up. It should be the same network as above. I have not figured out how you can see if the printer is on the same wifi network after the fact.
Here's another thing to check:
* Print the Nozzle Check Pattern as follows:
-- Make sure there is a sheet of A4 or letter plain paper in the front tray and the output tray support is extended.
-- Press the "Setup" button.
-- Use the right or left arrow button to select Maintenance, then press the OK button.
-- Use the right or left arrow button to select Nozzle check, then press the OK button.
* Under the test pattern you should find a page count and optionally a firmware version (like "Ver. 2.000").
* You need to see a version at least equal to 2.000. If not, you need to update the firmware.

I cannot print from Thunderbird but i can with Windows live mail

About a year ago I discontinued using Thunderbird because suddenly I could not print anything inThunderbird anymore. Now I use Windows Live Mail and printing emails is not a problem. Recently I installed Thunderbird again but still I cannot print emails using Thunderbird.

Thanks for your help.
Being a layman, I am reluctant to follow your advice without assistance of a specialist.
To prevent a misunderstanding I will try to summarize what happened.
1) After using Thunderbird for a long time and having no problem at all to print emails, suddenly I could not print emails anymore.
2) I do not have the same problem with Firefox nor with any other program.
3) I have only one printer.
4) After the problem occurred System recovery was used- for another reason - to start with a clean slate. Thunderbird was reinstalled: but still I could not print emails. When I use windows live mail I can print emails.
Does this change your advice?

I think we need a little more information. What do you mean by browser preview is white and browser window shows image? Are you talking about the Lightroom window? What module are you looking at? I have Windows 7 (but Home Premium) 32-bit, 4 GB RAM, and I don't have any problem printing from Lightroom 4.2. I have never encountered printing problems with previous versions either. Oh, what printer are you using? The more information you can give us, the more likely it is that we will be able to help you.

Cannot print from hp DeskJet F4580

I have just bought my first MacBook with Mac OS X 10.6.4. Great computer.
However I cannot print from the wireless hp printer. I downloaded the latest driver from hp (maybe a fault) and started to install. Everything went as expected untill the setup process of the Printer Queue. Here I add the printer in order to create the Printer Queue, but when I click on the continue buttom I get this warning: Are you sure you want to continue without adding a Print Queue? I finished the installation with a congratulation sign.
Therefore there is no doubt, that the printer queue is missing. However I cannot found out to install the printer queue.
The printer is a socalled all-in-one printer. The scanner function is perfect with the wireless connection. But not the printer function.
I have also tried to connect via usb cabel. The result is the same. Scanner okay. Printer not okay.
The printer works perfect under Windows.
I hope somebody can help me. Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same problem ! The wireless printing works using OS 10.5 on a G4 PowerBook but not OS 10.6 on an intel MacBook. I'm going to get in touch with HP as have used the latest drivers (as you have) - I've re-installed the HP software using Software Update for the latest version - still can't print. USB printing is also faulty so must be their drivers.
I'll let you know if I have any luck !

When my wife updated Firefox to version 7.0.1 she was no longer able to print items from the web such as coupons. She can print from her email (Cox) account.
She is running Vista.
When I updated to Firefox 7.0.1, I did not have a problem. I am running Vista also.
Tried using the Firefox help page but no help so far.
I did notice that on her computer in the "Plugins" for Firefox that HP Smart Web Printing is now disabled and is not compatible with Firefox 7.0.1. She had no problems until she did the update.

I cannot print from firefox. I can print from open office. It seems to have something to do with when frames open because in IE, I can print a whole page, but when I try to use a print button embeded in a page or frame it does not work.

In Internet Explorer, I was able to print by pushing the print button, but when opening a frame, like in mapquest, the embedded print button brings up an options window that has print frames options in it, but when hit OK in this box, a second error box comes up with a yellow exclamation point and nothing prints. Yes, I tried that.   The files were ordered by their original numbers as imported from the camera, but I batched them through Phocoshop to downsize all of them into a more manageable file size.   I opened that destination folder from quick time from where it said select image sequence.   I clicked on the first one and opened it.   The result was a large image with an arrow indicating a movie was ready to go.   When I pressed the arrow, though, I realized it had only imported that one frame so there was no movie.   The files are Jpgs and are about 450 KB each.
    To your knowledge are there any links to iMovie tutorials or quick time tutorials that may address this situation? Maybe there will be one I haven't looked at yet.

Cannot print from Firefox

For some time now I cannot print from Firefox. I thought it might be a glitch after an update, but have updated again since and it still does not work. If I try to print to a printer, nothing happens. If choose print and then save to PDF it seems to work, but then when I try to open the file I get an error message from Adobe saying "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired.". On the other hand, I can print and save to PDF from Safari without any problem. I am using Mac OSX 10.5.8, Firefox 6.0.2.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Please do a CLEAN install:
Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
Windows:
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
Mac: Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
Linux: If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see Install Firefox on Linux. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.

That is the HP printer dialog - not part of Photoshop or under Photoshop's control.
You need to contact HP about this issue, and see if they have an updated driver that fixes the problem in their driver.

Cannot print from internet

I have an HP computer, HP office jet 6600 hooked up wirelessly, can print from windows but cannot print from the internet. When I did a windows trouble shooter, it came up with missing microsoft teredo tunneling adaptor/driver. I tried downloading the repair for it and it started a scan that started at 10 PM and was still running the next morning. I removed tht from the computer but still cannot print from internet. Can anyone help me?

What version of Windows are you using? If you do not know the operating system you are using, please visit this website. Whatsmyos.

Cannot print from Firefox. 3.6.13. Tells me it is printing but only a blank page comes out of the printer. Safari works fine, but I like Firefox. Using Mac 10.6.5 .

Try This!
1) Go to Print Preview
2) Print
3) Name: HP PSC 2100 series (depend on your printer)
4) Properties...
5) Paper size: letter
6) Change to Paper size: A6
7) OK
8) Repeat step 4 again
9) Change back again Paper size: letter
10) OK
11) Don't print, but go back to Print Preview again and see if it works
