I cannot realize a call, my SIM card do not works
My Sim card is not working well on my iphone 3g. I put it on iphone, and the iphone recognized it, but the cellphone do not show the cellphone company. And i cant do a call. Can somebody help me?
You are not talking to Apple here, so we cannot check, but I'll give it a whirl.
You said you bought a "without contract" phone. This implies that it is locked to a carrier, but does not require a two-year commitment. However, you also say you put a T-Mobile SIM in it and it works. Obviously the phone has not been hacked since you bought it directly from Apple, so I can't think of another explanation as to why another carrier's SIM would work on a "No contract" phone.

Yes, the message is self-explanatory. You need a carrier who supports Apple's activation policy for an iPhone.

Pay as you go sim card data not working while roaming
Hi. I just boughan A1 abroadband sim card and it has a very cool offer : paying 0.59 euros per 1 mb in over 50 countries in the world.
Up to now fine. The only problem is when I put it into my UNLOCED iPhone 4 it connects to the cellular data network. I can see 3g or E next to my roaming carrier. The problem is when I try to actually use the internet I get a popout message saying that I do not have a data subsription and the data network could not be activated. Of course I do not have a data subsription it is a pay as you go card ! I've contacted the carrier and they told me there is nothing wrong with their network and I was told to contact apple since they might ahave a problem with the hardware settings. Help anyone ?Not having problems with their network tells you nothing that is of any help.
Call them and ask: "Does your A1 Roaming SIM work with an Apple iPhone 4 (or substitute whatever model you have) running iOS 4.3.3.? Have you tested it?" If they say no then it is possible this SIM won't work with your iPhone. Return it and get your money back. -
When I put my sim card in it comes up with no service. But I put it into a friends one and it started to work and recieve text. I'm not sure why it's doing this and what to do to solve it. Does anyone know?
Most likely you phone is locked to another carrier. Also, see this:

Wifi and Data running simultaneously. Data was being charged to my account even though I was on WIFI. No one can fix the issue. I have wasted 8 hours of my life and went and returned my phone and got a new one yet after the last update I now have WIFI and Data showing that they are running simultaneously. I have looked at numerous message boards and turned off Caller ID don't have Volte on my phone but do get an error with Visual Voice Mail. Verizon washes their hands and say these are not Updates even though these are the features we have on all our phones like Visual Voice Mail and Volte...
I did look at the Settings/Cellular to check the applications. This is one of the steps I did with the person from Verizon who was an "iPhone Specialist". And he didn't see anything unusual. And I can honestly tell you they have very minimal number of apps on their phones.
When I went to the Apple Store the first time with this problem, they had me update the phones iOS systems to see if this would correct the problem. They were each running older versions but different versions. One son had one update to do and the other had a couple of updates needed. So, the problem started before they were updated and they weren't even on the same update. And nothing changed after we did the updates.
I didn't reboot the router and modem, because I'm not having any other issues with my phone, my husband's phone, our iPad, xbox, PS3, or laptops. Would the wifi only affect their phones? -
I have two iPhones, one is a 4s and the other is a 3g. I have not used my 3g in some time now. I recently restored it but I cannot use it without a sim card, it says i have to "activate it." I cannot place my iPhone 4s sim card in it (too small), and i do not want to get a new contract or sim card for an iPhone that i do not ues very much.
Thanks for your help, but i cannot borrow a noral sim card now, my family has all up graded to iPhone 4s's, i have done this before, but one of my family had the same type of iphone so i could use theirs. Now i am the only one who still holds on to their old phone... I am not sure about buying an adapter...

i connected my iphone 3g to itunes which was in 4.1 firmware and itunes ask for an update which i downloaded an updated the phone to version 6.1.3 but my phone cannot start it shows no service my sim card is not getting network and i cannot use the phone. what should i do.?
First, you do not have a 3G if you could upgrade it to 6.1.3, because 4.2.1 is the last version that will work on the 3G. So you either have a 3GS or you somehow hacked the phone to install an incompatible version. Assuming you have a 3GS the most likely reason for your problem is you have a gray market phone that was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it. When you upgraded it you removed the hack, so the phone is now locked to its original carrier. -
a friend gave to me an iphone 3gs from mexico but im in colombia and i cannot use it cuz the sim card .. Where can i work it ??
Best solution would be to give or sell it to someone in Mexico who can use it. You can do othing with it if it is locked o Mexican cell carrier.

Typically this indicates a device that has been hacked to be unlocked or jailbroken.

I just updated my Iphone 3GS from 4.3.3 to 6.1. Now is says that my SIM Card is not supported by my carrier. I called Rogers and he says to restore my phone. But I can't get there is it won't recognize my phone. Help!
Insert a SIM from a supported carrier.
Where did the phone come from, it sounds like the device has been hacked or jailbroken to be unlocked and updating has re locked to the original carrier. It is also possible that the SIM simply needs to be reseated or replaced. -

No. Call Apple Care and give them the serial number. They may be able to tell you who it is locked to.
