I cannot recover accidentally deleted partition.

When I tried to install windows 7 through the boot camp assistant, I accidentally deleted a partition of 200gb. I think it was #1. How can I recover it in os x 10.9? The OS X 10.9 shows 200gb less the total hard-drive space. Thanks.

If the photots weren't backed up, there's no way to recover them.

• Are there any apps that I can purchase that will recover accidentally deleted prproj files on a Mac?

What app do I use to recover accidentally deleted prproj files on a Mac?

Umm... unless you can find an app that will rebuild data off of your hard disc by identifying sectors and re-writing document headers, you're out of luck... There is no app that I'm aware of for recovering deleted Project files. If it was on a RAID that failed, I've got a recommendation for you... otherwise, I think you're headed for some long, hard work rebuilding your project.

Restore from a backup that was done before you deleted them.
Otherwise they are gone.

• Recover accidentally deleted note on ipad

Call me crazy, but this makes no sense. My wife was working on the iPad in the notes program and accidentally delete her term paper. Not sure exactly how. I think via select/ cut. Email is pop3. Just check the account on the imac no notes seen.
Seriously is there not  a way to recover this data. From what I can tell looking at different thread here it would seem no.  I also looked at iPad note recovery tool, the page says coming soon, so no love there. IF THIS IS ACTUALLY THE CASE THEN THIS IS A MAJOR FLAW IN THE DEVICE AND THE iOS. Peoeple deltel stuff all the time!!
Please help she's suicidal.
Thanks

Jeff-
Has she recently synced the iPad to the computer?  If so, connect the iPad to your computer and run iTunes.  Select the iPad under DEVICES at the left of the window and click on Restore.

• How to recover accidentally deleted data in MAC X10.9

I accidentally deleted my Data from the hard disk drive (around 5000 images) and some documents. Please suggest me a way to recover it back as it is very important and emergency. I do not have Time machine or any other source to back up my data. Please suggest me a way!!!

General File Recovery
If you stop using the drive it's possible to recover deleted files that have not been overwritten by using recovery software such as MAC Data Recovery, Data Rescue II, File Salvage or TechTool Pro.  Each of the preceding come on bootable CDs to enable usage without risk of writing more data to the hard drive.  Two free alternatives are Disk Drill and TestDisk.  Look for them and demos at MacUpdate or CNET Downloads. Recovery software usually provide trial versions that enable you to determine if the software would help before actually paying for it. Beyond this or if the drive has completely failed, then you would need to send the drive to a recovery service which is very expensive.
The longer the hard drive remains in use and data are written to it, the greater the risk your deleted files will be overwritten.

• Recover Accidentally Deleted Commands in Terminal

I'm trying to do a certain set up on my Nintendo 3ds system using wifi on my Mac OS X desktop and in order to do it I'm suppose to put in certain commands in the terminal, but I made a mistake and pressed backspace and accidentally deleted my commands in my terminal box. I'm new to using terminal and I have not emptied my trash. What can I do to get it back?

You typed something into the terminal and you have no idea where you got the original command from and you have no idea what you typed. Now the screen shot you post is pretty messed up. Not really sure what you expect especially if you wont answer the questions asked or try the steps suggested.
The terminal can be a dangerous place especially if you are not sure what you are doing. Typing in commands that you have no idea what they do or where they came from is a recipe for disaster.
Wish I had more
Good luck

• Best utility for recovering accidentally deleted files?

Hello,
I accidentally deleted some files that I would like to get back.  I deleted them from Trash but I did not use the "secure delete" method.  I am using OSX 10.9.2.  I browsed Apple's app store and found a handfull of recovery utilities, but none that were not called "junk" by at least one reviewer.  Can someone recommend a file recovery utility that has worked well for them?
Thanks.

And, you should stop using the computer as the space occupied by those deleted files will be written over with whatever you are doing now and makes the files less recoverable. (Your hard drive is like a re-writeable CD/DVD - a bunch of songs or data; you delete one but replace it with a different one, so the space is being used again).

• Recovering accidentally deleted files

I accidentally emptied the trash while i was trying to put files back and now i cannot get my files back

If there is any chance of recovery at all your best bet is Prosoft Data Rescue. There is a free trial to see if it can recover what you need. Don't do any more operations on that Mac until you download and run it.
Also, a service that has been recommended but I cannot personally endorse is DriveSavers.
Look here for advice on deleting the folder.

• Recover Accidentally Deleted Files in OS X via Terminal, "command not found"

Hi!
I am trying to recover a folder from the trash. It was deleted 30 min ago. The command I am trying to use is;
Mys-MacBook-Pro:~ storedisk$ com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles true
And the response is;
-bash: com.apple.Finder: command not found
When I open any Terminal window I get this message, I don't know if this is relevant;
Last login: Wed Nov 13 08:27:40 on ttys001
I have found some similar replies on the forum but they do not seem to work in my case. I'm new to Terminal so I would really appreciate the help to find the cause and to resolve my problem.
Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much. This is the reply that I got;
Mys-MacBook-Pro:~ storedisk$ ls -a .Trash
.                                        Cherry Blossoms
..                                        FLiCKS
.DS_Store                              Nicholas Nickleby (1977)
13 Tzameti                              Robin Hood (2010)
Catch-22 [1970]                              We Live in Public 2009
Mys-MacBook-Pro:~ storedisk$ mv .Trash/FLiCKS .
Mys-MacBook-Pro:~ storedisk$
Mys-MacBook-Pro:~ storedisk$ mv .Trash/FLiCKS
usage: mv [-f | -i | -n] [-v] source target
           mv [-f | -i | -n] [-v] source ... directory
It is the FLiCKS folder that I am trying to retreive. Does this mean that I can retreive it? And if so, when I use the command mv .Trash/filename, where should it appear? Sorry for not fully understanding the instructions.
I also tend to empty the trash cumpulsively, which is how this happened in the first place. Trying to empty the files already in the trash but accidentally having had this folder selected I emptied that and kept the files that I didn't want.
The trash folder still has the size as if the folder FLiCKS is still in there though, if that makes any difference?
Thank you for all of your help.

• How can I recover accidentally deleted photos and videos?

My sister sorted the photos into albums in my dad's ipad then she deleted all the photos from camera roll. Surely, all photos and videos were erased. Please help me. There are many pictures there that I need for my wedding. I badly need them.

Unless you backed up your iPad to iCloud or to a computer, they are gone. You cannot safely recover photos from the iPad.

• Cannot Recognize Drive / Deleted Partition Mapping?

So, I was moving partitions in VolumeWorks and accidentally ejected the Lacie Disk. Now whenever I try to use it i get this:

I clicked initialize once, but I closed DiskUtility and it never had time to do anything. I know this because I can still use DataRescue to get my files. The problem is, the files will not be named or organized correctly! On diskutility, it will NOT let me mount the the drive (although it still shows the icon on disk util) so I cannot repair it. Please help!
Edit:
Shoot, apparently initializing it removes the partition map :O. How can I get the partition structure back in place?

Hi! Diskwarrior under 10.4 is about the only app that "might" reconstruct the directory. Otherwise using the data recovery software you mentioned is your other possibility. Tom

• Recover accidentally deleted SMS conversation

Hi there,
Is there a way to recover an accidentally 'cleared' SMS conversation? The phone has not been synced since the deletion, but was synced prior, so, with any luck, the conversation should have been backed up to the computer.
Thanks in advance,
-Rob

If this deleted SMS conversation was exchanged prior to the last sync, you need to restore your iPhone with iTunes from your iTunes backup, which should restore all SMS that was exchanged prior to the last sync and iPhone backup.

• How do I recover accidentally deleted Certificate Authority?

Hi,
Running Firefox 5 on Ubuntu 10.10 and while troubleshooting some other issues, I believe I have deleted a Certificate Authority accidentally. Because of this I cannot securely access Facebook or any https Google sites. I can, however, access Bank of America and other https sites no problem.
Also, I can access these sites in Chrome without issue (but I prefer Firefox).
I'm looking for a way to recreate or repopulate the CAs. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox but that didn't seem to work. I'm at the point where I feel like I'll have to reinstall the OS, but I don't want to get to that point if at all possible.
Any ideas much appreciated.
Regards,
Joe
