i cannot restore or update my iphone - message comes up 'the iphone could not be restored unknown error 1669 occured' I had just updated itunes before this but my iphone was saying - searching - and i could not make or recieve calls.please help!

HT1414 itune cannot restore or update my ipad without the passcode. My kid forgot the passcode.
There must be a way. I cannot restore or update my 1st gen Ipad because it is locked with a passcode. help....
Connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:
iOS: Unable to update or restore and iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. I have tried a newer version of the iPod software is available (version 2.0.1). To update my iPod but it is showing error iPod : Cannot restore or update in iTunes with error 1415, 1417, 1418,1428,1429, 1430, 1436, or 1439.

i restored and updated my iphone 4 to the latest version of 5.1.1 and after that when i connect my mobile to i tunes all i see is a big rectangle and a apple logo on left and a small lock on right side please help me fix this problem.I sloved this issue by resting my phone from settings>general>reset>reset all settings...the problem will be fixed

Use the device as designed.
Pictures and videos taken with the device are designed to be regularly copied off the device to a computer.
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Media should exist in iTunes on the computer.
If the device has been used as designed then at most, only a miniscule amount of data is at risk. That data being pics/vids taken since the last time they were copied off the device. Also at risk is app data created since the last backup to iTunes or iCloud.
If the device is in recovery mode and it has not been used as designed, it is too late to salvage the data.

I can't upgrade from IOS 6.0.1 to IOS 7.1.1 on my iPad 2. iPad says it has downloaded IOS 7.0.3 but cannot verify the installation if I try and install it. It claims that I have lost internet connection, which I have not. I cannot restore or update the iPad in iTunes either, if I try to, I get an error message which says that I 'do not have permission to access the requested resource'. I am using the latest version of iTunes on Windows 8. I have tried putting the iPad in recovery mode and restoring it with iTunes, the result is the same.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, but I've been having this problem for well over a week. If it is a corrupt download, is there some way of deleting it from the iPad and getting a new one?

I keep getting error 3004 when i try restoring and updateing my iphone 4 to iOS 7 i did everything 1. flushed dns 2. edited hosts 3. updated itunes and downloaded new one 4. switched usb ports 5. disabled antivirus 6. enabled ports 80 and 443 7. disabled firewall 8. even tryed putting mobile in DFU mode to restore it not of this worked so please help me

What is your iPod software version as shown on the iTunes Summary page?
Error 143x, normally caused by harddisk write timeout, probably due to
iPod Hardisk failing - Do the iPod Disk Diagnostic refer to this earlier tt2 post
Slow USB port, low datarate, due to sharing with other USB devices - Disconnect all other USB devices while Restoring or syncing. Dont use any USB hub and also use the USB port at the back of the PC. and not the front.
CPU Resource drained by other Apps like email, Antivirus, web broswer - Stop them, but if stopping Antivirus please disconnect the PC from the Inernet first.

repeatedly tried from diffierent computers and the same error code pops up (error -1)That's a hardware problem which will require a trip to the Apple store for evaluation, unless your phone has been jailbroken, then it's a corrupt hosts file (and we can't help you with that here as it is against the forum's terms of use).

What is the cause of "error 1015" when you're trying to restore and update an iphone 3gs? My iphone is currently in recovery mode and can not get out of it. All the information about my iphone shown on itunes is only marked as- N/A. How can I get my iphone out of recovery mode and get it to recover and update?

Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software available from Apple. This error can also occur when an unauthorized modification of the iOS has occurred and you are now trying to restore to an authorized, default state.
In other words, either your phone is jailbroken and you are sadly out of luck or you are trying to downgrade iOS. -

In using it, I found out other's have had this issue and it likely means you have a 3G iPad? If you do, go into settings and turn off cellular data, then try to update again and you should be OK........ -

If your phone was purchased as unlocked from a reputable source (Apple), or legitimately unlocked by your cellular provider, you will not lose your unlock status. If it has been hacked to unlock, we have no idea what may happen during an upgrade

I can't get iMessage to recognize an email address
