I use the search feature in Messages often, and I would be concerned if it wasn't working as well. I found some steps you can take to help resolve this issue:

The article is for a frozen and unresponsive iPhone, so the step to recharge the iPhone is not relevant to you. All the other steps in the article would apply to your situation though. Before you go through the step to "Restore iPhone," you should definitely back up the contents of your iPhone:

I, like so many others, have been experiencing problems sending/receiving MMS messages after updating to iOS 6. Other than that, I really do like the new update. I have an iPhone 4S with Verizon. I have been to Verizon, and the issue is not with my plan; it is definitely with the update. My friend updated her phone also, but her phone is just the iPhone 4. She does not experience these issues. Is Apple aware and trying to fix the problem? It is soooo frustrating! I cannot send/receive picture messages, nor can I send/receive group messages. --- Has anyone come up with a solution to fix it yet, or is it something that Apple will have to do?

I also am having the same problem. I can't send a pic to anyone who doesn't have iMessage. Also, I don't always get the alert when I have a new message. I never had this problem before I updated to IOS 6. I have AT&T & an iphone4. It's isn't jail broken. I've been reading forums for a couple weeks now and apparently it has something to do with the apn. And I don't know how or even if I can change it. Then I also read it might have something to do with a damaged SIM card. And it might have been damaged when we updated. But those are just theories.

after updating to ios 8.1.1, my iphone 4s cannot connect to wifi at all.
at first, connection will show up, but when i tried to connect, i will see the wifi logo but after 15 or 30 seconds, connection will be lost again.
i will try again, but this time, my phone will hang, i need to restart but then, wifi will not work at all.

after this, give up already.

I cannot connect to ITunes after updating to IOS 7.0.2,cannot update my apps nor download new apps. When I tap the quick test for IOS diagnostics it says it cannot verify the ticket number.

After updating to IOS 7.0.2 in my Ipad mini I cannot update my apps nor download new apps . It says "cannot connect to ITunes. " it's been almost 3 wks now. the only thing showing up in the App Store app after updating to ios 8.1.3 is my purchases and updates. I get nothing on the Explore, Top Charts or featured tabs...so i can no longer download a new app. I tried signing out and signing back in but still nothing.

I would be concerned too if my iPhone was not powering on. I found an article with steps you can take when you encounter an issue like this. I recommend following the steps below:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.

Test this by noting exactly where in your house that this takes place and also where it does NOT. Repeat until you have a "Map" of the good and bad spots.
You cannot do much about the cellular signal but may be able to troubleshoot the interference problem. This document talks about Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but the "Sources" might also apply to your cellular signal problem - radio waves are radio waves.

Cannot Delete Email Messages after Update

After installing the newest OS update I cannot delete my email messages using the delete keyboard button or using the onscreen options. The delete screen does open up but the delete option is greyed out. I am able to delete messages by using select more and then delete.

I have the same problem affecting 3 different email accounts on my q10, one of which is a corporate account requiring IT support to reinstall. This solution is not practical for me. Any better ideas? I knew I shouldn't have done the upgrade. Another reason to regret not switching to an iPhone!

Cannot restore my messages after update, please he...

i've recently created a full backup of everything on my 5800 XM Phone, and attempted to restore it after software update, everything is restored , except the Messages.arc , i think because there was a 7MB 3gp file in my inbox,
Phone restores successfully (!) without errors, but nothing is restored in my inbox or folders, just delivery reports are back. to check if the file is corrupted or not, i used Noki 2.0 , its OK, but because im from IRAN, i cant purchase the full software and trial version just doesnt do it.
is there a way to workaround this, delete the 3gp file from archive or something else?
please help me, i need my text messages, i cant afford to lose them.

Why cannot charge iphone 4 after updating to ios 6.1.2

After i have updated my iphone 4 software version to ios6.1.2, it cannot be charged using the charger adapter that is from the box that also contains the iphone. It was charging fine after the update. How to i solve this problem when it is left with 33% or less?

IPhone 5c - can't receive group messages after updating to IOS 8.0.2

I have an IPhone 5c and I updated to the IOS 8.0.2 yesterday afternoon and now I can't receive group messages. I have rebooted my phone and reset my network settings along with turning IMessage off & on, turning group messaging off & on.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Ok. Just got off the phone with Applecare. We finally figured out what my problem was. Before iCloud, I had a .mac account. So, my phone had two email accounts, 1. iCloud 2. mac.com accounts. Applecare had me delete completely both accounts from my phone, leaving no mail accounts at all. Then I added a new iCloud account. Put in my email address and password, then everything worked from there. Sounds simple. Good luck to the rest of you. Hope it's the same fix. And a big "thank you" to Xavier at Applecare.

Be sure you're in range of your Wi-Fi router (access point).
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your Wi-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and connected to the Internet. If not, refer to your network administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for assistance.
Restart your iOS device.

Unable to send or receive text messages after updating iOS to 7.0.2

I am unable to send or receive text messages aftering updating to iOS 7.02. I have an iPhone 4S. I have run all the suggested troubleshooting still can't text. I have been to my carrier, AT&T, there is no issue with my account. AT&T suggested resetting the phone to factory defaults (thereby wiping it clean). I am trying to avoid that as I had issues with transferring data & contacts before. Any one have a work around?

Has anyone had trouble with safari after updating to ios 8 on ipad

I am having trouble viewing a web page through safari after updating to ios 8 on my ipad. On the left side of my screen is a list of my favorites leaving only 3/4 of the screen to view a web page. Before the ios 8 update when I clicked on the safari icon it took me to a full screen view of my favorites with icons.

Same issue here, seems to be fine on text based websites, but any with images on struggle to load.
im on 100mb fibre, and all sites work fone on other devices, just my iPad since upgrading
its loads the site slowly, displays about 3/4 of the page once loaded
