Hi friends...I just bought Dell Inspiron and tried to connect my iphone with it. I can see it in my computer but cannot see it in itunes. please help!!!

I am not able to see my iphone (devices) on itunes when I plug it with my laptop. It was working fine a couple of days back.
I uninstalled itunes and re-installed latest version(10.6.3) as per instructions provided for windows.
Now my laptop is no more than a charger for my phone. I desperately need to add some songs as I have to travel in a few days. Is there anybody who can help.
Someone told me it could be a hardware or driver issue in my laptop. sounds logical but dont know how to solve it !!!

Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes on your PC. If you do try rebooting your PC and reset your iPhone. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot. Then try connecting again.
If that doesn't work remove iTunes from your PC and reinstall it.

Have you tried deleting the photo cache from your computer and then re-trying the photo sync and see if they all then copy over (you need to select and sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go, as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad) ? Don't know about the Facebook photo emailing, but there are a number of apps that allow to upload photos to their site (e.g. the 'official' Facebook app).
(For future info, typing all in capitals is considered SHOUTING - you are more likely to get help/responses if you don't.)

You will want to open iPhoto, go to the iPhoto menu and select Preferences. Under the General tab, next to Connecting camera opens: select iPhoto. Close the preferences and quit iPhoto. Reconnect your iPhone 4. iPhoto should open automatically and offer to import your pictures. Import them and then do what you want with them.

Cannot see Apple TV in iTunes

Help!.. Cannot see Apple TV in iTunes...
Have Dell PC running Windows 7 64-bit Prof. Hard-wired into d-link wireless router/modem.
Followed all Apple TV trouble shooting advice to no avail. As a final resort have even fully reinstalled PC operating system and still cannot see the device.
As a test Apple TV was found over the same wireless network by my laptop running XP - so I am sure it is not an Apple TV or network fault.
Has anyone got any adive pls?

had the same problem. The following was found in another thread on ATV disappearing from iTunes. It was posted by Cima113. I tried it. It brings ATV back in iTunes. Mine has been fine now for a month. I hope this helps someone.

It appears the best and only known solution for the AppleTV issue (windows) isn’t actually iTunes build 9.1.0.79. After the helpful postings to this thread it appears that the recent update of Bonjour is the actual culprit. Users experiencing this issue (Apple TV stopped appearing in iTunes 9.1.0.79) should try the following if your setup stopped working after iTunes 9.1.0.79.
1) Uninstall Bonjour version 2 :
Start> control panel>> uninstall a program>>> Select Bonjour>>>> Uninstall
2) RESTART your computer!!!
3) Open iTunes…
You should get a message that Bonjour is missing… This is what you want.
*While you have iTunes open make sure “Find AppleTV’s” is selected in iTunes, under:
Edit> Preferences>> Apple TV tab>>> Check box bottom.
(The above step must wait until after you install Bonjour 1.0.6, restart and open iTunes. This option is noy available while Bonjour is not installed)
4) Close iTunes.
5) Install Bonjour 1.0.6 (reputable download site: Cnet’s Download.com see below)

This is crap. I haven't been able to see my iPhone in iTunes for a few weeks now. Not too bad as I've not needed to put anything on there recently, but now I do want to put some TV on there, oh and OS4 as well. Any clues?

Have you tried anything in terms of troubleshooting already?
First off try a reset on the iPhone. Hold the on/off button and the home button at the same time. Keep holding them and ignore the side to turn off bar. The iPhone screen should go blank, and you can release the buttons. It should reboot.

You're welcome. By the way, if you drop down the 'View' menu and select 'Show Sidebar' your iPhone will show up there under 'Devices' just the way it used to.

It has already worked once on this computer and I can't think of any change I would have done since then.

The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to move everything to your new computer.

Last night I succesfully connected my iPhone to iTunes, updated to current software and bought a few new songs...all ok. In the iPhone summary it showed my details and serial number of the iPhone.
Just as it was finishing the updates it said that my iPhone could not be found and needed to be restored as it was in recovery mode, when I clicked on the relevant box it said the iPhone could not be located and there was an error 1611. All the details in my summary now showed n/a.
My iphone screen is stuck on the 'connect to iTunes' symbol and no amount of holding down the button/home screen will re-set. Cannot turn the phone on or off, have tried recharging with a different plug in...nothing.
I have done all checks on my pc, re-installed iTunes, DFU...absolutely everything that the internet tells you to do!
I called Apple and they said it was a hardware issue and would cost between £120 - £200 to repair.
If anyone has any ideas...please help!

Is your phone jailbroken or illegitimately unlocked? Or better yet running a custom version of iOS?
