I cannot see text when in a chat session

I started an online class that has chat sessions. I could enter the chat room, but could not see my text or anyone else's. I could see that I had successfully entered the chat room. I was using java applet.

As JTree nodes include a JLabel, I change the color of the text label when is disbabled and it�s done. The small problem is that this change is for all the application, but it�s ok in my case.

Cannot see text selection on Mac

Hi,
I cannot see text selection on a paragraph when performed text select by holding 'Shift + Arrow' key or 'Command + A' with Type tool. Sometimes text selection doesn't work. This is happening with Adobe Illustrator CS6 on Mac (Maverick OS). Looks like a bug in Illustrator CS6. Need help in resolving it.

Premiere Elements 11 trial version for macMac computer photos uploaded to the timeline just finetrying to make a new title, streaming or in a framedouble clicked on the text in the box and nothing shows up when I type on my keyboard. I can delete the words that are there but not type in new ones. I selected the type and size, etc.
Thanks if you can figure it out. I gave up!
I may just un-install it all together if I can't get to work.Joanne

Joanne Murray J2 What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what operating system (including 32 or 64 bit) is your Premiere Elements installed? Forgive the questions if you have been there and done that, but I do not want to take anything for granted that might hinder a speedy resolution to your issue. Are you opening an already created title that is sitting on the Timeline in order to edit it in the Titler or are you trying to create a new Title (Default Text or other)? Do you know how to work with the Selection Tool and Type Tool in the Titler? Once I know what version of Premiere Elements that you are using, I will give you specific how to details. Thanks. ATR

Cannot see text in large PDF file

Hi all,
I've searched Google and these forums, but I have yet to find anything relating to my issue.
I'm trying to view a PDF file, but I cannot see any text in Adobe Reader.
I've viewed it w/ the FoxIt reader, and I can see all text there.
Any idea as to what the problem w/ Adobe reader is?
I have the most up-to-date version of the reader.

Cannot see image when scanning check for neteller OS X 10.10

I am trying to use my bank's electronic deposit app. When I scan the check I do not see the image and cannot submit it to the bank. So far I have to use my Windows PC to do this. Will HP provide full software for the MAC ever or must I keep using a PC forever so I can deposit my checks?

I can see that when scanning cheques to your Mac running 10.10 your unable to see the image. I may be able to provide some helpful suggestions!
From what I can see there is no full feature software and drivers for the Photosmart C410a on Mac OSX 10.10. You should still be able to scan using the application in the Mac called Image Capture. Image Capture is located in the Application folder of your Mac. Using Image Capture your should see your scanner on the left side. It may be listed under shared. Once you select your scanner you should see settings on the right side for scanning. There is also an option to preview the scan before you save it.
Within Image Capture you can also change the DPI settings to increase the resolution of the image. This may help fix the quality issue!

Cannot see image when use sendRedirect

HI,
I have a little servlet that try redirct to external link
response.sendRedirect("http://wap.yahoo.com/");
I get the yahoo page but cannot see the image,
I look on the source of the page I got
<img src="/images/yahooicon.wbmp" alt="Yahoo!"/>
I cannot chage yahoo page :-(
any suggestions ?

Hi,
The site http://wap.yahoo.com/ does not contain HTML. It contains WML scriptlets. It will not work if you are using a Internet browser. You need to have a Mobile browser to see the content properly.
I tried to redirect to http://www.yahoo.com/ and I am able to see the images in this site properly.
The problem is not with Yahoo site but the Browser you are trying to access it with. :D

I can't see text when I open my .fla files.

Open any file with text in Flash, I can't see it. The blue selection squares appear, and I can highlight the text, copy it, and paste it somewhere else, but I can't see it in Flash, even when it's highlighted or I change the font color. I am using Windows 7, and this problem came up yesterday. I could see all my text just fine before. Thanks in advance.

ITunes 11.0.1 on Windows XP SP3 32-bit Cannot see text (font does not display)

I have installed the latest version of iTunes on my home PC with Windows XP SP3 (Service Pack 3) 32-bit Home Edition.
I cannot read the text on many iTunes screens/pages due to the font not showing at all.
I have also tried to install the Segoe UI true-type font (and its variant such as bold, italic, etc.) but the problem remains.
Please help.

I have eventually managed to resolve my issue by:
1) Installing "Segoe UI" fonts in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder.
2) Changing my default colour profile to "sRGB Color Space Profile".
Navigate to My Computer > Control Panel > Display > Settings > Advanced > Color Management.
Click Add button and select sRGB Color Space Profile.icm from the Add Profile Association pop-up window.
Select sRGB Color Space Profile.
Click on the Set as Default button.
Click on Apply, OK, OK.

IPad cannot 'see' ATV2 when using VPN

I have a private local network with a number of machines on it (mostly Mac) managed by a Mac Mini Server. This network is secured and has no internet connection. Within this network is an Apple TV2 which is used to show media on a large video wall. Up until recently (before security requirement) it was also used to mirror iPad displays and run Keynote presentations. This was all working fine up until I was forced to rebuild and secure the network.
So I rebuilt the network. A security device manages the wireless access point on the outside and access to the inside network from devices connected to the wireless access point is via IPSec VPN (authentication managed by RADIUS server on Mac Mini). There is no internet connectivity anywhere near this network.
This is all working fine. iPads can access the wireless access point and when the VPN is connected they can access the web server on the inside and other various apps on the iPads can access network shares or screen shares. The problems start when setting up the ATV2 config.
First, to allow external devices to access the ATV2 or for a central library to be accessible Home Sharing needs to be active. Guess what, Home Sharing can only be activated by authenticating against the Apple servers which requires an internet connection. After jumping through several convoluted hoops to get home sharing activated on the ATV2, and separately on the iPads and Mac Mini Server I am now trying to get the Remote app, AirPlay and Display Mirroring to work. No luck.
With the iPad connected to the network via VPN it can still access all of the web services, the network tool app that I have can even ping the ATV2 and I can show videos via AirPlay from iTunes on the Mac Mini Server but for the life of me I cannot get the Remote app, Air Play or display mirroring on the iPad to recognise that there is an ATV2 on the network.
In frustration I switched the wireless access point to the other side of the security device (don't tell IT dept) and reconnected the iPad to the network, this time without the requirement for VPN. Lo and behold the ATV2 appeared immediately in the remote app and it was available for AirPlay and display mirroring. Switching the AP back to the outside and going in again with the VPN and the iPad is blind again to the ATV2.
Any clues as to what is breaking? I suspect that the Bonjour service is not passing through the VPN. This is the only explanation I can think of.
Any suggestions on how to get this working would be great. Otherwise I am going to have to rethink how I use the iPads and ATV together. The constraint I have is that the connection between the iPads and the internal network MUST be secure.

Yes, Bonjour is needed for AirPlay.
As its multicast, typically VPN's don't allow the broadcast msg to spread as it would produce too much noise to the end devices.

Are you working with the same bass track as last night or with a different track? You can only see and print the score for software instrument tracks that are selected in the track head (you probably know that, but just to make sure).
Can you post us a screenshot of what your track heads look like, so that we can see what might be wrong?

You could also try to refresh the security from shared services.

It sounds like you are not able to print to your printer because it keeps timing out when you try. I would use the troubleshooting steps from the following article to help you get that printer going again. It may be something as simple as re adding the printer if you've already restarted both the printer and the computer already:

Follow these steps until the issue is addressed:

Ensure the printer is properly connected to a USB port on the Mac or AirPort base station / Time Capsule. If the printer is a network-capable printer, make sure that it is properly connected to your home network.

Open the Print & Scan pane or Print & Fax (Snow Leopard) pane in System Preferences.
Delete the affected printer, then add the printer again.
If the issue persists, try these additional steps:

If the issue still persists, reset the printing system again. Download and install your printer's drivers. Then, add the printer again.
Contact the printer vendor or visit their website for further assistance.
