If so, try giving your ipad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home key for about 20 seconds until the touch reboots.

Manually manage music is NOT checked. I backed up all my phone information from my old 3GS phone to my computer, then connected my new phone to sync. Everything else seems ok but music won't transfer. It is set to automatically sync when connected.

Use system font, or al least one blank in system font. In this case you can use effects, because systemfonts are rendered as an image.
Using web or web safe fonts it is momentarily impossible to use effects on text.

Are you trying to download and install the Creative Cloud apps? Which operating system are you using?

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it.

I have LINUX and I cannot seem to get the browser to download on the computer, I have extracted the files from the download & then all I get is a folder

The browser I have for Linux is SeaMonkey or some other annoying thing and I wanted FF because it actually has compatible add-ons but I cannot seem to get the browser to actually run on the computer. I click the download button and get the files but once I extract them nothing happens. I extracted them to the desktop, perhaps there is somewhere else in this system that they need to go to make them work?

Ok...I should have also mentioned that I absolutely hate having Linux b/c I have no idea how to use it. If u could explain that in simpler terms I'd appreciate it.
Also, I was able to get the browser to open once but then when I dragged the icon from the folder on the desktop & tried opening it [I wanted to make it a sort of desktop icon] it stopped working...
EDIT: Ok so I re-extracted the downloaded file & clicked on the icon that said Firefox & I got the browser. My problem now it seems is the fact that I do not have a desktop shortcut, how would I go about making that happen?

NOOB Question - Cannot seem to get the output in a text or CSV file - Please help!!

I was able to put together a script which finds members of a certain AD group, filters down the users, and then calculates the number of days till a password reset is needed. I am able to get on screen exactly what i am looking for, but cannot seem
to figure out how to get the same data to a file. What i am doing wrong? two goals here:
1. Create a spreadsheet with a list of users whose password is about to expire.
2. Down the line automate an email to users whose password is about to expire.

No matter what i try between the {} after the If statement, I cannot get the output to a file. However, if I use a Write-Output I get exactly what i looking for. I feel like i am forgetting some basic concept and could really use some help. Thanks.

Hi Matt,
I generally create an empty array (something like $out = @()) at the top of the script and then use $out += $desiredOutput inside of the foreach loop.
Outside of the loop, you can then pipe $out to Out-File or Export-Csv, depending on your needs.

The Iphone 4S is connected to my Airport Extreme which is in a network with an Express. The speed i get on my phone or ipad (second generation) seems to be maximized at 65 Mb/s, is that normal?

Get a free speed test app, and try it in different locations to see if your is slow or not. Heres one i use.

I cannot seem to get my font back to normal. I already tried preferences-content-font

I have a mac os x. I recently added new fonts to my photoshop CS4. Ever since then my email and when i search the internet it's all in one of the graffiti fonts I added to photoshop. I tried to go to preferences-content-fonts to change the font, but it didn't work. I re-started Firefox and that didn't work either. Is there anything I can do to get things back to normal -Thanks so much!

I Just Bought a MacBook Pro, I Own an iMac as well and i cannot seem to get the same applications how do i do that?

I purchased my MacBook Pro for school.
I own my iMac and it has my "Iworks" i purchased it under my apple account, although it is not wanting me to have the program on this computer ? Do i have to purchase the i works again?

If you purchased it from the App Store on the Mac, you should be able to download it again for free unless Apple has a new policy about doing that, in which case you'll need to buy it again.

Apologies for not replying back sooner - I've been away.
Although your suggestion helped me in getting a copy of Lion that I could use, it didn't help with the restore from Time Capsule issue. I had to download the Lion app onto my MacBook & then transfer it across but it wouldn't let me upgrade my OS for some reason, so I ended up wiping the iMac completely and restoring via my Snow Leopard install disk. For some reason, this time, it let me have the option of using Setup Assistant to access the Time Capsule for a complete restore.
Now, over a week later, with various bits of tweaking and reinstalling some apps that didn't seem to come across, I have my system back.

First, the app must be universal...designed for both iPhone/iPad:
Tap App Store.
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Tap Updates.
Tap Purchased on the resulting screen.
Locate the app in your Purchased tab.
Tap the download icon.
The app will begin downloading and you'll be taken back to your home screen.
