I cannot seem to update most of my CC apps

Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, InDesign, Illustrator - they all failed giving me an error:
U4MM1P7
Is anyone else experiencing this? How do I fix it?
This is becoming more trouble than it's worth.

Apple said to update ical. I guess I waited too long because my calendars and all my events disappeared. I tried syncing with my iPhone and it deleted my calendars off my iPhone. First, the app must be universal...designed for both iPhone/iPad:
Tap App Store.
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Tap Updates.
Tap Purchased on the resulting screen.
Locate the app in your Purchased tab.
Tap the download icon.
The app will begin downloading and you'll be taken back to your home screen.

I cannot seem to update Garageband 11 on my new MacBook Pro retina (Mountain Lion)

Hi,
I've just bought a new 15" MBP retina (Mountain Lion). I have Garageband '11 pre-installed.
When i try to add additonal instruments Garageband opens a prompt box and asks if I want to update now or later. I have tried both options and neither work - the app store opens but it cannot find any updates.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Sometimes you need to reload the updates page at the App Store after you selected to "Update Later":
From the App Store main menu bar: Store > Reload page

I have lost one of my devices (ipad2) and i cannot seem to find it on my findmyiphone app. all other devices show up except for this one. is there something i can do?

If the iPad was running iOS 7, the thief/finder will not ever be able to use it.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.

Updater cannot seem to update moved software...

Dear Forum Members,
I have a number of Adobe titles including CS5 Creative Suite, Lightroom, PSE8 and others. I am running them on a Mac Pro. After installation I thought my Applications folder very messy with all the various Adobe icons and folders, so I consolidated the programs and their attendant folders in a subfolder. I am able to run them all without issue, although several of them complained about being moved and modified some prefs when run the first time after the move.
However, I now cannot update them with the Updater. I get the following message and the Updater will not proceed:

One of the following products has been moved or deleted improperly: Adobe After Effects CS5, Adobe Bridge CS5, Adobe Encore CS5, Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. Please launch or reinstall the applications to update the location and try again. This error seems quite straightforward, but even after (successfully) re-running every executable I can find in all the Adobe folders (including, of course, the ones listed in the error message), the Updater still will not proceed past this point. I do not want to "reinstall" these apps and make a mess out of my Apps folder again. Is there some other way to correct this issue?

Hello glashoppah, the products are not designed to be moved outside of the installation folder once they have been installed. To install the products into another folder you will need to move the folders back, uninstall the product, and install again selecting the new installation folder. There are database files which are used during the products use that were not designed to have the product move. As you saw with the updates the product will error out.
Please let us know if you need any additional assistance to resolve this issue.

I cannot seem to update my java on my mac os x

I have been trying to update my java for months now. I have done the stupid system update since you (apple) have your own "java" and it states that my system is up to date. I am not very happy with that. I need my java updated so that I can do my school work. Its been really ******* me off. I have tried even updating the software on my mac. Nothing seems to work. If theres some way to update it then please help me figure this out.

I cannot seem to update firefox. I keep getting asked to make sure I have the latest version.

I get a screen that comes up that says Firefox cannot be updated securely and it urges me to make sure I have the latest version of it. I have downloaded it three times and still get the message.

I have tried to update iTunes about 6 times now...but it goes through the update, stops like it's been updated, but still shows on the App icon that it needs to be updated. My current version is still showing as 12.0.0.

Cannot Install Adobe Updates / Cannot Open Files in Photoshop from LR

Hi,
I cannot seem to update the programs that show need to be updated. My computer shows I need to update Adboe Bridge CS5, Extension Manager, Photoshop CS5 and Camera Raw, but get the following error every time: "There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later."
I figure this is part of the reason why I cannot edit a photo from Lightroom to Photoshop. When I try to edit in Photoshop, the program opens up but the image doesn't appear. When I try to open the image directly in Photoshop, I get the following error: "Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw."
I assume the two issues are related, but how can I get past this if I can't update Camera Raw?
I'm running on Yosemite and have Photoshop CS5 and LR 3.

The updater for older versions don's work well, if at all, anymore. Update the manually:
Adobe - Photoshop : For Macintosh : Adobe Photoshop 12.0.4 update for Adobe Photoshop CS5
Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Macintosh : Camera Raw 6.7.1 Update
If you upgraded to Yosemite with CS5 installed, you may want to uninstall and re-install CS5 before doing the above. You can find the CS5 downloads here: Download CS5 products

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

I agree it is a very bad and wasteful design especially for users on small laptop screens.
You can drag it to whatever shape you want from the bottom left corner.
Click on the paintbrush to make the Format side panel disappear. However you will need to use that side panel for most formatting.
