I cannot send texts with lion

Since I downloaded Lion I have touble with text messages: 1. I often can't move from the submect line to the text line. It never allows me to send. It is like it is frozen. Rebooting does not resolve it.

Starting 10 days ago, I cannot send text messages. i can still receive text messages.
I tested my phone with a colleague who has an iphone. He receives a record that I am texting him but the message is null. I also texted a family member on her Android phone and she gets nothing.
Here's what I have done:
1. I did a hard reset twice. I removed the battery and even the SIM card in the process.
2. Soft reset once using the Alt, **bleep**, Del key.
3. Checked if my BB had the latest sotfware. It did It currently has OS 6 with bundle 2647.
4. Wind Mobile Canada has reset my PIN
5. I re-registered my phone as guided by the Wind Mobile tech support. I got an email from BB saying "Your handheld has been registered with the wireless network".
What else could I try?

Go to BB Menu and Click OPTIONS
Sroll down to "Data Coding"
Choose "7 bit"

Cannot send texts on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in 713 and surrounding area codes (or anywhere that I know of). Is anyone else familiar with this issue. I receive texts just fine. I have tried an alternate texting app and rebooting the phone and I have checked my account online to make sure now safeguards have blocked texting or anything else.
It just keeps trying to send for a while and then comes back failed. Everytime any number I try. But I can receive texts.

The Galaxy Note 3 is a fantastic device! I'm sure you're eager to use the device to the fullest of its abilities. Has this been an issue since you first received the device? Just to ensure that were on the same page, the 713 area code is the Houston, TX area?
I would suggest clear all text threads that are currently on the phone. Once the text threads have removed head into Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > All > Messaging > Clear Data then test.

I just purchased a note 3. Everything works well except I cannot send text messages. I can receive them, but I get an error message when I try to send them

Can anyone tell me why I cannot send text messages on my note 3? I can receive them, but when I attempt to send them I get an error message unable to send . . . It's a brand new phone.

We would love to get to the bottom of your message mystery.
I'm guessing you are getting the error for all messages you attempt to send, is that correct?
What type of phone did you upgrade from? We ask because if you have switched from an Apple device (e.g., iPhone) to a non-Apple device (e.g., Android, Blackberry, etc.) and previously used the iMessage service, you may experience issues sending/receiving SMS/MMS messages with Apple device users. You need to deactivate the iMessage service within your Apple account to restore normal SMS/MMS functionality.

Thank you for your message. It seems like it is certain Verizon iPhone users. I did not download any new apps or perform any software updates on my iPhone. The ppl I could send text messages to were non VZ non iPhone users. Today I can only send to some iPhone users. They also had error messages sending text messages to me but not to my daughters iPhone (we r on a VZ family plan). Do I need to perform an update like *228 or something like that? Thank you!

Sorry i asked this on you discussion, but its soo confusing .
The mobile phone looking number is what you call the message center number. Contact your service provider to get the actual one. Then, make sure that you have the same number updated in Messaging -> Options -> Settings -> Text messages -> Msg. centre in use.
This is not your "actual phone number".

N73 - Cannot send text messages/Multimedia key not...

Sent my N73 into the shop to be fixed, and it came back with 2 problems. I cannot send text messages at all. I have heard that this can be solved with the sms accelerator, but I can find NO download link for the N73. I found another one and installed it onto my phone (version 1.0(0)) but the problem persists. ANy ideas or links to where the sms accelerator is for the N73?
The 2nd problem is the multimedia key is no longer programmable. I press the multimedia key, then select the down arrow (configure) I scroll down to any of the options right, left, top, center, bottom. When I press the center joystick I just am taken back to the multimedia screen. I am not given any choices to reprogram the keys....any ideas there???

Often it's just a case of resetting the phone after it comes back from repairs if they've upgraded or simply reflashed the firmware for you.
Note that these operations will wipe your phone's internal memory so do a backup before proceeding.
First option: revert to factory defaults. Dial *#7780#.
Second option: soft reset. Dial *#7370#.
Third option: hard reset. Switch the phone off and do the following.
1) Press and hold the green "call", "3" and "*" buttons.
2) With those buttons pressed down, switch the phone on.
3) Keep pressing those 3 buttons and only release them once the phone shows signs of life such as the Nokia "hands" logo or the language selection screen.

N95. Cannot send texts

Hello,
I have a problem with my N95 8G and I was hoping you could help me. After using 2 different sym cards (on 2 different networks) for a while, I can't send texts anymore with any of them. Every time I changed the sym, I got the configuration settings via text, saved them and switched the phone on and off and it worked. But after a while, it stopped working. I checked the sms-center number in my settings and it's the right one.
The funny thing is that the problem seems to work itself out for a while, and then it comes back. I could send texts for about a month, and then couldn't any more, without changing any settings or stmg.
Called the network's support team and they had no answer.
Any idea why this is happening?

Sorry to learn of any issues since upgrading to iOS7. Let's try some troubleshooting! Do you find that this issue is only for other iPhone users, or does it happen with all messages? Cannot send text form my iphone 4S. . Even if I turn off imessage. I can receive messages. If I turn on I messsage the send and receive just shows my email if I press on it,it shows my email ticked and phone no in grey with no tick. It wont allow me to tick it. Can annyone help please

Thanks. I got the problem fixed. Spent time with the Apple folks and was kicked up to a senior advisor. It seems the problem was with my internet provider - Tmie Warner. Remember I could use the old ipad and the iphone to send mail. I checked all the specifics between the three units. It seems that TW is changing over from the RR.com to TWC.com. Since the new ipad air was just set up, it fell under the new TWC mail specifics.
