RESET PASSWORD CONSTANTLY. SEEMS LIKE ITS OUT OF SYNC WITH ITUNES, HAVE GONE BACK TO THE FACTORY SETTINGS AND HAVE SYNC AGAIN WITH ITUNES SUCCESSFULLY
WHEN EVER i TRY TO DOWNLOIAD AN APP IT WILL REJECT THE PASSWORD. HAVE RESET THE PASSWORD SEVERAL TIMES. STILL CANNOT DOWNLOAD ANY NEW APPS

I'm having the same problem with my iPad Mini. I've decided after many attempts that it's Apple's problem, since I have no problem accessing the store and making purchases through my other devices. It's saving me a lot of money not being able to buy new apps and in-app purchases. And I'm not going to waste any time with Apple Support on it. They want my money, they can figure it out all on their own. Maybe Samsung is better with this sort of hiccup...

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

When I try to sign in to the App store, I get a message that says "An unknown error has occurred" and I cannot sign in.

When I try and sign in to the App Store, I get an error message that says "An unknown error has occurred". The Apple Store told me to contact Apple Care which I did. They determined it was not an issue with my computer and thought it was an issue with the App Store.
They had me contact the iTunes Store instead of the App Store because they said that was the technician I needed. The iTunes Store rep told me there was no issue with my iTunes account and told me "The issue could have been temporary, related to your internet connection, your local network, or your computer itself."
This issue has been happening for a few months and as I said above, Apple Care said it was not my computer.
Any suggestions?

You cannot use that ID without a credit card. You did not create your account correctly. There is very specific way in which you must create your account if you do not want to use a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you will have to start all over again.
1. You will have to sign out of that ID before you can create a new one. Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID>Sign out.
2. You cannot use the email address that you used for the first ID that you created. You will need to use another email address now
3. You have to download a free app in order to start the new Apple ID process.

If when you go to icloud.com and sign in with your current iCloud ID you see all your iCloud data there, you can safely sign out of the iCloud account on your Mac and choose Delete at all the prompts, then sign back in with the current ID. This only deletes the data from your Mac, not from iCloud. Your iCloud data will reappear on your Mac when you sign back in after a brief delay as it redownloads. If you have automatically imported your photo stream photos to your iPhoto library you won't lose them either (if you haven't, save them to your library first).
Again, only do this if when you go to icloud.com with your current ID you see your iCloud data there.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

My ipad always has this message saying my apple id then type in the password all the time randomly and it always says it, even when I'm actually logged in to this account, and when I go on face time and iMessage and I try to log in, it always comes up with that type in the password message when I already have! You have encounter Activation Lock, the antitheft feature of the iPhone. The previous owner did not remove the phone from their account. The phone cannot be used until they do. Return to the store and let them sort this out. It is very unusual for someone to "forget" to disable activation lock, as it is necessary to do so to erase personal information on the phone. So it is quite likely you bought a stolen phone.

Hi, I was forced to upgrade to IOS 6 due to a restore.
Since the upgrade, I have lost information, the App store is stuck in update mode, my battery drains in hours and many more problems.
Is there a way to go back to the VERY RELIABLE IOS 5? This phone is nearly useless now.

Just FYI - the situation is resolved. I downloaded the new snow leopard 10.6.8 update for safari and now itunes works. I have no idea what that has to do with anything - but I saw it on another forum and it actually worked.

How do you complete the registration without a credit card?

Select None in the Payment Information window.
Click Account right side of the App Store window under Quick Links. Enter your Apple ID and password then click View Account.
Click Edit to the right of Payment Type.
Select None then select Done bottom right side of the window.
Be aware, the None option is not available in all countries.

i was trying to update my iphone 5 to the new iOS but some how in between it kept crashing. after a few attempts to install the update it automatically gave me the screen to which it was asking to plug into itunes and making the phone disfunctional . i dont have access to itunes and wont for a few more days. can i just take it to the apple store and have them update the phone to where is now functional?
