I cannot sign off so my housemate can log in.

There is no sign off that I can find. When I do anything--go to Google, enter www.gmail.com--I immediate return to my account.
It would be nice to be able to log off when I want to, log on when I want to. I spent time looking through your postings and found others who share my disappointment in this feature, but no answer. Your Firefox help is little use in this matter.
You had a winner before, why the change? Change which improves is good, change which is driven by necessity is good, change for the sake of change is a waste.
Please advise.

You should be able to log off from your Google account.
What you may have done is asked Firefox to remember your loggon and then log you on each time. Alternatively maybe you are just closing the Google account page without logging off.
I suspect changes may relate more to what you are, or are not, doing; rather than to Firefox changes.
You should be able to get Firefox to behave the way you like, have a look at:

When you say "sign", do you mean digitally sign or add an e-signature, which can be a hand-drawn signature? If a document is Reader-enabled, the EchoSign e-signature functionality is not available, but it does allow digital signatures if enabled with Acrobat Pro, as opposed to Standard.

You can log out of an account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > Sign Out menu option. If you want to remove all of its downloads from your iTunes library then select them and press the delete button on your keyboard.
If you want to use the same email address on a new account then you will need to replace it on that account first (iTunes accounts can't be deleted, you can only stop using them) e.g. via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes or via http://applied.apple.com

You can't. This is a security feature to prevent the resale of stolen iOS devices. You need to contact the seller and have him/her remove it from their iCloud account. Or return and get your money back. See: Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support

When an RDS device CAL is issued it remains assigned to the device it was issues to until it expires. It cannot be used by another device until it expires.
An RDS per device cal is set to expire in a random inteval between 52 and 89 days. Once this interval expires, the device Cal is returned to the pool. You can revoke RDS CALs manually (up to 20% of your total) with Remote Desktop Licensing Manager.

I I cannot sign out of my comcast email in Firefox but I can do so in IE.

My husband and I each have our own email account on Comcast email. We almost always use Firefox to open it. Suddenly, I cannot sign out of my email account on Firefox. I click on sign-out, then click on sign in, but the email automatically goes to my email account. After signing out, and clicking on email, it sometimes says "oh oh, you're not signed in." But when I click on sign in, instead of giving me the sign in box it goes right to my open email account. Just can't get out of it. When I am on IE, I can still sign in and out of both Comcast accounts without a problem.
I use a laptop with Windows 7 or 7XP I believe, not sure which it is. Thanks for your help.

Try to clear the cookies from that Comcast website.
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Don't use Multiple Speakers option and just choose the AppleTV
What are you trying to Airplay? If it's iTunes content it's simpler to 'pull' the stream from the Computers icson on AppleTV by selecting the libarry and media.
If you are attempting to Airplay the desktop you can't.

I have a problem when trying to sign emails with an X.509 certificate in Outlook 2010. I constantly get the error message. The certificate is Verified for the email address I'm sending from.

You may have checked the option "Encrypt contents and attachments for outgoing messages" in Outlook, please uncheck this to test if the problem persists.
File -> Options -> Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings -> E-mail Security -> Clear the checkbox "Encrypt contents and attachments for outgoing messages" -> OK.
