I cannot start my old Dell PC, so I set up an old backup PC and installed Firefox. How can I import the bookmarks on the disabled computer to my new computer?

My old computer was a Dell Dimension desktop running Win XP Pro. The current one is a ProTec (from MicroCenter retail store) running Win XP Home.

I tried shifting the Profile folder contents from the old to the new, that seemed to work but I kept getting a message that my security was affected and that the problem could be in that folder so I shifted it back.

When you connect the iPod to the computer and iTunes is authorized for your Apple ID, then you will get a prompt to transfer the purchases from the device to the computer. Keep in mind this will only transfer purchased items from the iTunes Store.

If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPad by tapping on the id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad. If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.

Check your security software
Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006. Sometimes security software can prevent your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.
Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't preventing a connection to the Apple servers.

I have Iphone3G - my email address was changed automatically to an old address after an software upload -- how can I get the correct email back?

When I first purchased my phone in January I had an email address of [email protected] but found that the phone and comline weren't talking to each other so I set up email [email protected] and everything worked perfectly -- calendar, e-mail, etc. Last week a message appeared on my phone instructing me to upload new software. My [email protected] for icloud was replaced my the old email address. The account was locked so I went to iforgot.apple, etc and reset it. Then I took the option to change the email and on the computer all looks correct but my phone still has my old e-mail. I've turned it off and on hoping the new info would be loaded but no luck. Any ideas?

I kind of agree with Philly on this one. If you get a new email address, there is no need to establish an entirely new account to use that address. You just need to modify your account to show the new email address. This way all your purchase history and rights to purchased apps stays in place. Creating a new iTunes/Apple account each time your email address changes really doesn't make sense in my opinion. I only point this out for future searchers who end up on this thread.

Ipad continues to use my old Apple ID and password. I can't remember the password. I have created a new Apple ID but icloud is still locked up with the old one. Help.

Last week I changed my Apple ID. I was having some problems with getting "incorrect ID or password" message. sometimes it would accept my info and sometimes it wouldn't. I got tired with messing with it and decided to just create a new Apple ID and password. The new ID has worked ok, but my icloud account still comes up with my old ID. I tried to change that but couldn't without signing in with the old ID. I did several times but I always get the message "incorrect Apple ID and password". I tried using other password but nothing worked. Now I'm not sure what the password is. I have asked for a password reset to be sent to me but nothing comes ( using my regular email ). I have tried using the secret questions and I get them all correct except my birthday doesn't jive with what they say. I really need some ideas. My icloud account is essentially locked to me and isn't backing up my stuff. that's about all I can think of to tell you.

I got the "wrong answer", so the next time I asked for an email authentication. I am still waiting. I don't know what the usual time for waiting normally is. I am still waiting for an email reply from three days ago. I'm not going to hold my breath. My ipad is out of warranty but I may have to beg for help from support? I'll wait awhile longer. What do I need to do?

Preliminary conditions:
Through settings, you must log the Apple TV in with your iCloud account.
In iTunes, choose Advanced > Turn on Home Sharing from the menu bar.
The Apple TV and your computer must be connect to the same network.
The Apple TV is sold in many different countries. However, iTunes is discriminately serviced. Whereas in the United States, movies and musics are sold in their entirety, there is no such services in Korea ― only app purchases. If your iCloud (or Apple) acount falls into the latter category, and you login to the Apple TV with that account, Apple TV will automatically convert its systems to the similar limitations.
Here's what happens when I login with my U.S. account to the Apple TV.
But when I login with my Korean account, theres only the 'Computers' and 'Settings' menu.

I can only find a way to sync that wants to wipe my ipad which has all my info on it. I want to reverse the sycn and put all the data on my itunes. What do you suggest? find a third party app to explore and try to copy the info? Please advise.
