I cannot uninstall Epson software for stylus sx425w. I want to print 2-sided, but cannot enable this.

I am using Pages butI cannot print 2-sided to my Epson Stylus SX425W printer. The 2-sided option is greyed out and I have been unable to uninstall the Epson software. Is there a solution?

need to re-install the software for the c6280 all in one printer. downloaded the latest install package from the HP web site. During the install process, I get an error message .. can't find user/appdata/local/temp/7z256315/setup/.....setup/blocksysuser........
the folder 7z256315 does not exist on the HD.
I also get a message that it can't find PS_A10_02_software.msi.
Windows 7 , C6280 all in one printer. Printer is connected to the router. The desktop computer is connected via an ethernet cable, the laptop/ipad/iphone/internet radio are connected via wireless to the router.

Follow the steps below, and let me know what happens?
Step one: Clear temp directory
Type %temp% in the run or search for programs and files field
Highlight all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to delete. If you get a message that the file is in use you will need to skip this file(s).
Continue with Step 2 below
Step two: Downloaded and extracted to your system:
1. Download the full feature software and drivers

2. Once the download is finished double click on the file to extract the software.
3. When the installation window opens press the cancel button to stop the installation
4. Type %temp% in the run or search for programs and files field
5. Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356)
6. Right click on the folder, and select Copy
7. Close that window, and all your open windows, and then in the middle of the desktop right click your mouse, and select Paste. This will move the 7z folder to your desktop.
8. Open the 7z folder you just copied to your desktop
9. Open folder Util
10. Open folder CCC
11. Run the uninstall_L4
12. When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
13. Run Disk cleanup from Accessories\ System Tools folder under all programs
14. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

15. Open the 7z folder, and then double click on the Setup.exe file which will be toward the bottom of the open window. Follow the on screen instructions to reinstall your printer.

How do I get to the 'Print Mode Choice Box' in the Apple provided software for a Canon Pixma IP6210D Series printer?

I downloaded the Apple software for my Pixma, IP6210D series printer. There is no 'Color Matching', option or 'print options', pop up menu available. According to the instructional book that came with the printer - the Mac how-to section those options should be available.
In the 'Page Setup', dialog box the 'OK' button is not listed. The two choices are cancel and print.
How on earth do I get to the 'Print Options', box?

Sounds like you have the print dialog minimised, as shown.
If you click the triangle next to the printer name, this will expand the print dialog and from this view you can see all the menu options as mentioned in the guide.

Missing file after installing software for Officejet 6210 All-In-One printer.

I got the following error message: "The file C:\{Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\skins\oov1\skin.xml does not exist". Can anyone tell me where to get the file and then how to download it? Your help will be much appreciated.

WIA is Windows Image Acquisition, it is a proprietary Microsoft driver model and application programming interface (API) for Microsoft Windows Me and later Windows operating systems that enables graphics software to communicate with imaging hardware such as scanners, digital cameras and Digital Video-equipment. - Source
Please follow the instructions below.
Please hold down the windows flag key and the R to open the Run box.
Type services.msc and press Enter
Locate Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)
Right click and open Properties
Stop the service from the General tab and then Start it again
Verify that the Startup type is set to Automatic rather then manual
Also, look for 'Shell Hardware Detection' in the list of services. If it is not enabled/started, make sure to enable/start the service, and make sure the Startup Type set as Automatically from its properties.
Locate the 'Remote Procedure Call (RPC)' in the list of services. If it is not enabled/started, make sure to enable/start the service, and make sure the Startup Type set as Automatically as well.
If the issue persist, the HP Print and Scan Dr might help, otherwise I suggest contacting Microsoft.

I keep getting "this service is currently unavailable" for many websites I want to log in, how can I stop this?

I recently bought a new Mac Pro and for many wesites I want to log in like Itunes store, and koodo, It says "this service is currently unavailable. Pease try again later" I first I thought it was just the wesite but its been doing that for the past few days. I dont think all those websites can be unavaiable at the same time for so many days. The only thing I changed in my Safari was the homepage (if that has anything to do with it) I hope someone can help me with this, if not I guess I'll take it to future shop and see if they can fix it.

Empty Caches
    Safari > Preference > Advanced
    Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
    Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
    Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
Do not use the back button. Use the previous/next button available.
If this does not help, contact Apple.

Problem with re-installing Epson Driver for Stylus Photo R300

My computer recently crashed and I had to do a system re-install. My system then updated to OS 10.4.8, I am on a 1.67 Power PC G4 Powerbook.
After re-installing everything my Epson Stylus Photo R300 is not working. I could not find the original disk so I went to the website and downloaded the installer which extracted into "epson11601.sea" . When I go to run this file the computer launches a program called Automator.
Pleaes help. I need to print some DVD's for work and I can't do this until I re-install the Epson Drivers, etc.

What you need to do is go to http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/ and download Stuffit Expander.
Then ctrl-click on the .sea program, and select open with, and choose stuffit.

Epson Scan for Stylus CX5400 Not Launching

Each time I try to launch my Epson Scan, either in the dock or in the applications folder, the application begins to launch and then quits. It will do this in different accounts. It will do this, when I'm only logged into one account.
I've gone to the Epson support site, and downloaded the best driver I could (Epson Scan Utility v2.65A, for 10.3.x). I've used this scanner before, so I'm not sure how to fix this problem.
Any suggestions? I would love to know how to get this scanner working again.

For what it's worth, I solved my own problem, by simply INSTALLING the downloaded driver from Epson (duh).
Scanner now works like it has.
One other tip, which I had picked up some time ago from an Epson support person, Fast User Switching fouls up the scanner driver. So be mindful of that.

I need to Uninstall Apple Software Update. I am getting error. "There is a problem with this Windows Installed package.

My itunes stopped working. I uninstalled/reinstalled. But it would not complete reinstall. Started with Quicktime not loading. I have tried to install Quicktime individually. Still nothing. I now am trying to uninstall ALL itunes/Apple to attempt reinstall. But the Apple Software Update will not remove. I get the error :THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS WINDOWS INSTALLER PACKAGE. HT201436 voice mail management is really bad with the newer version of software for my iPhone5 my old version deleted VMs instantly but now my phone freezes up and at times the delete button does not work until i set the phone aside for up to a minute.

I am having a hard time deleting unwanted voice messages with my new phone and software as compare to my iphone4 which was as easy as clicking on the delete button. VMs would delete instantly. with my iPhone 5 7.0.4 software ver the first one or two delete immediately then the phone freezes up for several seconds making the process frustrating. I am wondering if either I am doing something wrong or if there is a fix out there. its a giant step backwards for Apple.

I have done several "attempted downloads, and see the full file download, typically taking 30 minutes to complete, and then something goes wrong.
I am happy to suspend AV and FW software, but would like to know if it is a good fix or not first?

For the javascript content I am developing, the "hide status bar" option needs to be enabled; how do I access this option for FF4? If I cannot enable this option, can you provide tips on how I might get the page to run?

I am working with datango producer (see datango.com) which depends on JavaScript to set up the training player that runs simulation content. Datango's browser check recognizes that I am running FF4.0, but indicates I should change the setting to hide the status bar, yet I cannot access that setting under Options > Content > Advanced JavaScript Settings. I could suggest an update to the preflight checks, but am not sure what to tell them. Can you help?

It's not clear to me why within the Apple eccosystem of products something as basic as editing a MOV file recorded with an iPhone requires any 3PV software for conversion so that it may be edited in iMovie09. Is this an iMovie Bug?

Is this a bug within the iMovie? This seems as if it should be extremely simple. I recorded a movie with my iPhone 4. iPhone records that in the standard apple MOV format. I can play the file in Quicktime. However, when I try to drag and drop it into iMovie09 or import it into iMovie09 it is not allowed. It used to be said that Apple just "Works".

I own the movies and I want them to stay in my iTunes library basically forever.
But in both cases the file name no longer shows in the movie list, so I don't know how to re-download it from the Cloud.
iTunes prefs > Store > Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
This will show all your iTunes purchases in your library with a cloud icon down arrow. Click the icon to redownload or click on Play to stream without downloading.

and techncially, you don't "own" the movie, You simply have a license to use it.
Yet the first thing iTunes does when you hit the delete key is tell you that it will remove the movie forever from all devices and the library.
Actually, no it does not tell you that.
FYI: You should keep copies of all yoru iTnue spurahses as the labels/movie studios/copyright owners can pull their product at anytime and it won't be available to redownload.

Before you restore from backup makes sure that all your apps are in your iTunes library since the backup does not include synced media like apps and music.
