I cannot update my creative cloud connection. I'm getting error # U44M1I208. I'm using MAC OSX Mountin lion 10.8.3.
Kuwait if you are using a wireless connection please try a wired connection. If you are already on a wired connection then you would want to try a different Internet provider to see if your difficulties persist.

Unable to update Creative Cloud Connection
I'm currently unable to update my Creative Cloud Connection on OSX 10.7.5
During the update (via the application manager) the installer requests that I close the following application (Adobe Creative Cloud Connection) to continue!
...But if I close the Creative Cloud Connection, I close the Application Manager and the update! Aaaarrrrggh - Please Help,!

Unfortunately this didn't work. Seems I've got some sort of conflict going on. I can't even uninstall the cloud connection without the same message appearing!
The uninstaller is also asking me to close the connection to complete the ininstall - which in turn will close unstaller. WTF -

What is wrong with Creative Cloud Connection Update? I've tried 25 times to update but it does not work? Can you please help?
I opened my Adobe Application Manager, and I saw there was an update for Creative Cloud Connection and pressed update. When the installation was at 49% a message came and said: Please close te following applications to continue: - Adobe Creative Cloud Connection. And a buttom: Cncel update or Retry.
I have Retry 50 times, and it says the same.
I have restart my computer several times, and the same happened when I come to 49% of the installation.
What is the problem?? -
Creative cloud connection won't connect nor upload files
Hello,
I'm on creative cloud connection 1.0.500.17.
When I relaunch the app, I get a msg "Unable to connect to CCC".
After turning sync off and on again, it seems to be connected (icon is black and no grey) but the files in the CCC's folder does not be uploaded automatically as it was.
Any idea to fix it?

Creative Cloud Connection included in Packager
Haven't tried it yet but has anyone tried to use a package built with Creative Cloud Connection included after it was made unavailable until 6/17? Just wondering if it will just skip it or throw an error.

If you have the installation files for Creative Cloud Connection 1.05 (don't use 1.0) you could create an installer package for it that would be able to install successfully but, even with it installed, it would still show as being in a "Unable to Connect" if you tried to use it. Both the app and some of the backend services are unavailable for a few weeks while we're making improvements for a final release. I'd recommend not adding it to the deployment package for the time being until the upcoming release is available.

I just tried to download and install an update to Creative Cloud and got an error message that the operation was unable to be completed. Now I cannot access Creative Cloud at all. Please advise.
Run the cleaner tool and reinstall everything from scratch.

Thanks for the suggestion but I have attempted this many times to no avail. As I said in my original post, "I have researched this problem on this forum and the Adobe site and believe that I have tried everything over the past week."

Creative Cloud Connection update error - U43M1D204
Received an update request from the Adobe Application Manager for the "Creative Cloud Connection". The error states "The download appears corrupted. Press Cancel, wait a few minutes and try again (U43M1D204). I tried this several times receiving the same error. Please advise how to correct.
MAC OS 10.8.3So, found my solution. Guess it was an amalgamation of the solutions here but I’ll try be more descriptive of how to actually do it (in my case I had problems updating a Camera Raw update for Photoshop).
This assumes you’re on OS X and only have a problem with one update. If you have multiple you’ll have to maybe repeat the steps:
In your home directory, go to Library/Logs/AdobeDownload and open DLM.log in a text editor that has decent search capability
With the log file open, search for .dmg and find the last occurrence of it in the log file. You should see a URL similar to http://swupdl.adobe.com/updates/oobe/aam20/mac/PhotoshopCameraRaw8-8.0/9.0.592/setup.dmg. This is the culprit download that CC seems to hang on
Copy that URL, paste it in a browser and download it somewhere
Now, in your home directory, go to Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0/Install. In my case this directory was empty, so I just moved the setup.dmg file I downloaded in step 2 and placed it in this folder.
Restart CC and try updating your problematic application again. It should work now, at least it did for me…

DaveOkay, "just around the corner," "coming soon," "finishing touches" are the answers we are getting from Adobe in regards to Creative Cloud Connection. Even their demo videos show Adobe staff with it on their desktops. This is one of the primary reasons why I signed up for Adobe Creative Cloud, and right now it's becoming a bit of joke. After 6+ months of promising this to your clients, this is really not in good form. If it is, indeed, vapor ware, at least update the touch apps to work with Dropbox, or a similar cloud storage system. Or if you have concerns regarding it's functionality, release it as a Beta, and let your customers run it through it's rigors.

Updating Creative Cloud Connection
I have a mac. How do close Creative Cloud Connection so I can update it? The installation gets 50% completed and then says I must close the program. Creative Cloud Connection does not show up on the Force Quit list and I can't find it to close.

Creative Cloud file sync services are currently unavailable. We're working to restore service as soon as possible. To disable error alerts you can Turn Sync Off or Quit Creative Cloud Connection.

Creative Cloud Connection Storage Utilization Not Accurate or Updating
During the initial testing of the creative cloud connection we were asked to put as much as we could into the folder. I had just under 20GB and soon after I removed it all. I now have next to nothing in the folder. However my Creative Cloud Connection always shows that I am using all my 20GB of storage.
File deletion is a two-stage process. First you Archive the file (think Recycle Bin on Windows or Trash on Mac OS X). You then Permanently Delete the files from the Archive.
To the top left of the dark gray sidebar on the right are three view icons - Grid view (the default), List view, and Archive (trash can icon). Check that your Archive is empty. -
I have been trying for 2 days now to get this resolved.
Computer hashard wired internet connection, running Windows 7 Home Premium. No other issues with downloading or uploading from any other sites or programs. No other network issues reported on other computers.
It started when I went to install Lightroom through my Creative Cloud. It prompted me to update my Creative Cloud Desktop App, which I went to do and then promptly got Error Code 201. I restarted my Creative Cloud and then skipped the update, hoping it was just an issue with that specific download. I clicked to install Lightroom and the same thing happened, Error code 201.
I restarted my machine, and tried again. Same issue.
I contacted Support. They had me go in and change a bunch of folder names to and add "old" to the end of them and then had me try using the Adobe Cleaner tool, which did not work. He had me go in and change some internet settings, still nothing. Same issues as before, only now with all the renaming of things I cannot even open programs I had previously been able to open like Photoshop.
He instructed me to reinstall the CC Desktop App because the Cleaner tool was not recognizing that it existed anymore (probably something to do with renaming files.. just saying) and now I get the 201 Error when I try to reinstall the CC Desktop App.
I ran out of time and had to stop after being on with them for over an hour.
Today I contact back and was instructed to create a new user account on my computer and try downloading and installing the application in the new user. Same errors. 213 at first, restarted my computer and then got Error Code 201 again.
I am getting really frustrated and really behind on my work. Any information someone could give me would be greatly appreciated. Currently waiting for a chat person to be available again.

Error 213 indicates there was problem locating the update or an incorrect URL. The troubleshooting steps are still the same as both errors are related to failure of the current network connection.

There maybe another option which you can explore but this will be dependent on if you have any other Adobe Creative software installed? Do you have any other Adobe Creative software installed on your computer beyond that which is included with the Creative Cloud? -

Creative Cloud Connection is the missing link.
Adobe you have dropped the ball (although I truly hope only for a short while), and frankly I am astounded. Never in my over 20 years of using your products has there been a mistake as big as this one (in my opinion and only with the products I have been using). I'll even cut you some slack on the first two versions of CS.
You give us 20GB of space for files. Great. Ican can drag and drop files to the site. Awesome. I can create as many folders for organization as I want. Wonderful. But, I can’t drag and drop from CC to my desktop - when I do I only get a jpg image of the icon on my desktop. That’s a “drag”. In order to actually share a file with another party, I have to make your image public and email a link to that party. Annoying. This is only good for collaboration with others on one design at a time, but in the real world there are usually at least half a dozen projects happening at one time with tight deadlines. Comments can be added to aid in the progress of a project, but that’s about it so far. And, I cannot download more than one file at a time right now. So much for file sharing and enhancing work flow. At this point, I can’t even share your CC workspace with another person, like I can with Dropbox. Sigh.
Adobe you have been promising the Creative Cloud Connection – desktop access to Creative Cloud files – since May. I’m in despair. Why is it not available yet, Adobe, why? You have said that it's coming soon since May - it's August Adobe - what is going on?????????Michal Castek wrote:

I suspect it's regrettably more a case of over-promising and under-delivering.
They've prematurely set some of the expectations of the Cloud features too high with the marketing copy.
Now everyone is salivating at the mouth waiting (or demanding) for the features they've been promised to expect.
If they hadn't mentioned Cloud Connection in April but simply delivered it in Q3 or Q4, they would be heroes.
That's Project Management 101. Hopefully they learn from the lessons of the somewhat clunky launch of the Cloud in 2012.
