I cannot use my new iPhone 5 which I got from Vodafone UK
The iPhone was Unlocked by Vodafone and I was able to use O2 UK nano sim card. But now neither Vodafone nor O2 sim cards get signal on my iPhone. Can any one help me out please? I tried factory reset which does not help much. I was able to use my iPhone only for 1 day and thats it
contact the phone carrier... or try doing a reset, hold down the home/sleep button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

No, it will not affect the iPhone 6 content if you wipe the old iPhone 4s.

My macbook pro recently got swiped and I lost all my data, problem is, just before it was swiped I set up my new iphone 5 which transferred all my photos and music over which is no longer on the computer. What will happen to my phone if I plug it in?
I never used icloud before so there is no data to back up from. I just spoke to the apple store and they said that if I do plug it in, all the data will be swiped....is there a program I can use to transfer my data from my phone to computer without loosing it all ???

Set up the new phone as a new iPhone (without using your backup), then update it to the latest iOS (7.1.2). Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup and follow the prompts. My Hard drive crashed on my PC just after I bought my new iphone 4s, which I hadnt sinked yet with my itunes account. I had many photos of my kids backed up on icloud which is all I care about retrieving! Is there ANY way to retrieve those pictures? I have read through countless blogs and forums relating to my problem and it doesnt seem as though anybody has had the same problem. I performed a back up of my icloud just before selling my last Iphone. I bought a new Iphone, and before I got the chance to sinc it to my itunes/icloud account, my hard drive crashed (yes I am sure it was my hard drive). So now I have a new computer and have absolutely no idea how to retrieve any of it or if retrieval is even possible. Any help you can provide to me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

How can I use my new iphone 5s in Brazil?
I just got a new iphone 5s as an upgrade from AT&T here in the US. I am going to Brazil and I want to use it there. I spoke with AT&T and they said that since I am under contract, I cannot unlock it, therefore I can't use it in Brazil. This seems ridiculous that I can't use my nice new phone when traveling! Anybody know how I can unblock it so I can use it while in Brazil?
Only AT&T can unlock it. If the won't you cannot use it in Brazil except by paying roaming rates.

If you are activating it with your computer either your firewall/antivirus is blocking the connection to apple's activation server gs.apple.com or your computer was used at some time in the past to hack or jailbreak some other iDevice.

Look iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is a backup listed for your iPhone 5 dated BEFORE you restored your iPhone 4 backup to your iPhone 5? If not, your data is gone. If there is a backup, on your iPhone 5: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. You should now be able to restore that backup, if it exists, to your iPhone 5.

How do I restore the back up from my old iPhone 5 which is IOS 8.1.3 to my new iPhone 6 which is IOS 8? It's not coming up as an available back up restore option? Am I able to set up as a new iPhone and then update the new phone to IOS 8.1.3 and then restore from my old iPhone 5 back up at that stage?
Setup your new phone, then update to iOS 8.1.3. Once done: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings". At the setup screen you'll now be able to select your old phone's backup.

My apps are not updating as I have no longer access to my eariler apple Id and now I am using a new apple Id which is allowing to download apps but while updating those apps my iPod wants eariler apple Id password to update what should I do ?

Those apps are forever tied to the Apple ID they were purchased under. You can either delete them and re-purchase them, or you can go to Manage your Apple ID and reset the password on the old Apple ID so you can use it to update your apps: Apple - My Apple ID
If you decide to continue to use them under the old ID password, I would suggest that when you reset that password, you change it to be the same password as the one you are currently using. That way when apps need to be updated you will only need to know one password and you won't have to be concerned with which Apple ID is displaying.

Updates are free, what you need is an Upgrade...
First you need to research all the problems people are having with the higher OSX versions, & make sure you have a bootable clone of what you have just in case.
then you must get 10.6 if they still have it, install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.
