I cannot use Privacy Suite with the most recent Forefox 27 update.

Well the term "hotlined" I have never heard before. In any case many states (like NY) just passed regulatory powers to the State Public Service Commission of which it may be called something different in your state. You could file a complaint with them. Or file a complaint with your state attorney generals office, they also take on wireless providers.
The problem here is the staff you speak to are poorly trained, in days gone by it took one call to them and they pulled up your account and see the error and had the authority to remove any errors. They did not remove legitimate account actions, but used their heads instead of putting a customer off or worse lying to the customer.
Its a shame you have to go through what you going through.

Is anyone else having issues with the most recent Facebook app update? I updated it on my iPad 2 yesterday, now it will not open app at all. I have restarted iPad, uninstalled app and reinstalled, several times and still it will not work! Any suggestions? I have also closed the append still no results!
I just started having this yesterday. It's only happened twice, but it's annoying. My wife texted me that she was coming home last night, and it showed up immediately on my iPod Touch but not my iPhone. I opened my iPhone and it soon updated. Worked fine after that. Then just a moment ago today my wife texted me and the same thing happened. I heard my iMac and iPod Touch receive the message but it didn't display on my phone until I opened the phone and it showed up again a little bit thereafter. I suppose I'll send Apple some feedback on this issue.

We have 4 Iphones. As a family we have happily shared the same ITunes account and one AppleID. After the most recent iPhone IOS update all our contacts and calendars have merged and we randomly receive some messages that one of us has sent to another contact.
This is causing chaos.
Can anyone help me with:
1. Has anyone experienced a similar problem recently?
2. The records to the individual phones have not been saved been saved separately. After this merging of all the data into one composite record, is there anyway to reverse the change and restore the phones to just their individual records?
3. I guess that the cause may be the common AppleID. I have tried to create my own AppleID but my personal email address is already linked to the existing AppleID so I am blocked from setting up a separate AppleID in my own name. Does anyone know how I can get around this block?
4. Would it be better to create a separate Apple ICloud address for each of us as well? How do I do this?

You don't get a choice. If you decide to update, your phone will be updated to the latest iOS version available for your phone. For you, that's iOS 7.0.4.

Hello All, yesterday afternoon I just lost all recent updates to my iCal from the last days. How can this possibly happen ??? It may have occured after I chose the Refresh function after I had problems searching my iCal for a particular event. I think my iPhone was also not properly synched in the morning but I didn't pay it much attention and opened iCal on my MacBookAir instead.
How can I prevent this from happening again?
What can I do to restore iCal with the most recent updates?Random glitch. It doesn't matter; if you didn't backup the data, then you can't recover the data.
In the future, for any 'important' data, back up that data regularly. Forward the 'important' text messages to your email. Trasnfer your photos & videos to your computer, etcetera. -

i Have the most recent I.O.S.FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY. -
Has anyone had issues with the most recent Yosemite update
I installed Yosemite October of 2014 mainly because I needed to update itunes to continue to help my daughter maintain her music files. Anyway the reason hardly matters. My computer and Yosemite did not get along. Posted up a file of my computer condition for people to look at here and the basic recommendation was to delete this that and the other thing. So I did that and the computer worked somewhat better. However I really am not sure if it was working better because Apple had been making progress with Yosemite ironing out Yosemite bugs. I had not reinstalled any of the software that it was recommended I delete back in October. So I doubt that is an issue.
Two weeks ago while updating, generally, a Yosemite update started downloading to my computer. It is now running 10.10.2.
Since then Mozilla crashes about five times a day and runs very slowly most of the time. Wondering if there is anything I can do or should I just wait it out...hope for the bestv AGAIN. I am encouraged by the fact that over time from October to mid February, Yosemite and my computer kept getting along better and batter. Since the update I am more or less back to square 1 as far as general speed and functionality and behind the eight ball as far as Miozilla goes as it is crashing constantly.
I also do not like how update files are identified in Yosemite. There are times when all you get is a notification that there are updates ready with no identification of what they are. Had I known that was a Yosemite update, I would not have touched it. What is up with this no identification of update files? Trying to ambush us now because people are beginning to avoid their updates? Good grief Apple.
Anyway....any ideas? Just wait it out? Hope Apple gets back on a path of bug fixes for Yosemite? Anybody with a quick fix for this one?Automatically checking for updates is not the same thing as automatically installing updates and even automatically downloading updates is not the same thing as automatically installing updates. If Apple has now decided to describe them and implement them that way ....that is a mistake!
Here is what I have in my App store preferences although I repeat, I have never changed anything. What items are selected there are the items selected ions ago or defaulted in possibly with iTunes 12.0 installed and I was always in the past been given the opportunity to view any updates BEFORE They installed.
"Automatically check for updates" is checked. That should not cause an issue of any kind. If it is that is a problem not of my making!
"Download newly available updates in the background" is checked with an additional descriptive line of information that reads "you will be notified when the updates are ready to be installed" I was going to uncheck this. Although I did not ever go to this location and change my settings which leads me to believe that this is a default choice in Yosemite or iTunes 12.0 as this is not the way I am used to my updates either coming to me or being installed
"Install app updates" is checked ...Really....with permission, without permission, with notification? What the heck does this line really mean? Going to uncheck this
"Install OS X updates" IS NOT CHECKED
"Install system data files and security updates" is checked. This is another one that I am going to uncheck
"Automatically download apps purchased on other macs" is not checked
This system clearly Installed an OS X update without even asking me if I wanted it installed regardless of the fact the box is not even checked. So I have no idea how it managed to do that when the check box for OS X updates is not checked. A big OS X screen came up as the thing started installing leaving little doubt what it was at the point of being too late to do anything about it
There is an interesting element to the relationship between "Download newly available updates in the background" and "Install app updates". If you uncheck the former, a check immediately appears in the box for the latter and the box ix grayed out preventing you from making further changes. So your options are for updates to be downloaded in the background or have updates installed without prior notification. What the heck kind of a choice is that?
I am going to uncheck all of these for the time being except "automatic checking" and "Download newly available updates in the background". The former should not cause a problem and has never in the past caused a problem. Seems to me that I am forced to the latter for now. However to be perfectly honest i no longer have any idea what Apple is doing and I am not completely convinced that they know either.....not any more
I am going to go to Apple Tech Support and get full descriptions from them as it appears possible that they have changed their definitions and descriptive materials with regard to update activity either in Yosemite or iTunes.
Finally, this issue with automatic checking has nothing to do with Mozilla crashing five times a day in Yosemite. That is a separate problem and I guess I am just going to have to hope that Apple Yosemite bug fixes brings this back under control. -
All my inboxes emptied by my iPhone 4, with the most recent OS
My Iphone 4 is configured with 4 accounts, 2 of them gmail, 1 imap from a major university, and 1 groupwise.
I also used a 3G for 2 years and up to now with my iphone 4, never had an issue with my e-mail accounts before today.
Today I found that all my (and only) inboxes were emptied out. I called the Apple support and they suggested that I rebuild my iphone. Not sure if this is the solution I was looking for.
I ended up recovering all my gmail content in both of my accounts via viewing all e-mails. It was not in any particular folder, trash, deleted, labels, or otherwise folders but I can view it via all mails. I also recovered my imap inbox content by using our inhouse recovery tool. As for my groupwise acccount, no luck, my inbox content seemed to have vanished.
Now why would my iphone do this to me? have anyone heard of this? I am very upset about my lost work related e-mails. Maybe I'll have less work to do.The iPhone won't throw out any error messages. It will just crash or freeze up like happened to you. Your only options are to reset it by holding down the sleep and home buttons, akin to restarting your computer. Restore it in iTunes from a backup, but something may be corrupted and this won't work. Or restore it as new in iTunes as Apple suggested it sounds like. You could also visit an Apple store and have them run a diagnostic on the iPhone which I've heard from others will show OS crashes and potentially what caused it.
As for your emails, you should not lose anything. For your gmail accounts all those emails will be on Google's servers. So when you set up your accounts again with the iPhone (either IMAP or Exchange) everything will be pulled back from Google. For your university and groupwise emails you may want to contact the admins like I said to make sure they are not having any problems and your settings are correct. How do you have these accounts setup now?
Deleting your email accounts and then putting them back will basically reset them and it should be good again. What were you doing when the iPhone crashed?

To solve the iTunes store problem, I have tried the suggestions suggested by Apple on the website to no avail. Since downloading the last iTunes update, I can no longer access radio broadcasts. It tries to connect to tuning service, but the refreshing catagory list notice never stops and connection is never made. No store connection and no classical radio connection--What will I loose with the next update? I'm not a computer person and don'y know what to do! Help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

This has happened a couple times when I installed updates to Firefox or Flash, but most recently: I am running Firefox 7.0.1 on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.6.8. I installed the Adobe Flash update to Flash 11 and when I restarted Firefox, all my saved tabs were cleared, including the App tabs I'd pinned.
What's the URL of the page?

Itunes won't connect, status bar goes about half way and stops, then times out. I have tried all fixes posted, you name it, I have done it. Running Vista and current version of Itunes. Can connect to Internet with any other app. Using Firefox, their latest version if that matters.
I have seen this is an on going problem throughout the Itunes community. All I can say is 'Bad Form Apple, Bad form.'One more odd thing. The itunes diagnostics believes my windows firewall is on which is it not (believe me I've checked/double checked etc) AND believes itunes is not enable in windows firewall which it is, if ever I turned WF on. How can itunes get this wrong? I mean, if itunes believes its being blocked, maybe that's why I'm being blocked...has anyone heard of this?

I really prefer using the "Today" tab instead of the "All My Files" tab, because it loads much faster and only shows me the documents that I want to see. Is there any possible way to get the "Today" tab back?
In Finder, go command - F. On the top left set "Kind" to Date Created, finish selecting the criteria and hot "Save" on the top right. You'll get a new smart folder with an option to add it to the sidebar.
