I have an iPad Air that I bought recently. I cannot set up the iCloud account. I had an old Apple password. I had to reset the password. Now iCloud will not accept
either paseword. How can I fix this?

Welcome to the Apple community.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Since my situation is very similar, rather than start a new thread, I wonder if I could jump on this one for some clarification & to see if I'm okay to proceed with the Tiger instructions you posted.
I'm running 10.4.11 on a 17" Titanium PowerBook G4. I have a .mac e-mail address & I'm using Apple Mail.
I migrated to iCloud several weeks ago & everything's been fine but I haven't been able to get any e-mail through all weekend.
I logged in to iCloud a short while ago & everything seems fine.
So could I ask whether the procedure you linked to works for .mac addresses as well as .me addresses?
Also, can I assume that the messages that are still sitting in my inbox will still be there after I remove the existing account & create the new one, (seeing as they're synchronised with the inbox online), whilst the complex hierarchy of folders I've created locally in the mail client will remain untouched?

Asking for iCloud account name and password to play iTunes radio when I have done it in the past many times without this question. Will not accept my apple id and password. Will not save my changed password. Where do I start?

I have a MAC with OS X Yosemite, version 10.10.2, 8GB, 2.7 GHz, intel core i5. Until 2 days ago, I could click on iTunes radio, pick my station and listen. Then 2 days ago, I do this and system asks for my iCloud account id and password. Does not recognize apple id or password. I change the password, does not save it. Screen that lists 2 step verification asks for added security questions, I do those and still will not allow me access. What do I do and where do I start? I thought I should download the update to OS X. I did that, still no change. Please help direct me to where I need to go to fix this problem.

Restoring an iPad from an iTunes-generated backup should not require an Apple ID password.
Did you encrypt the iPad backup? If so, then trying to restore will require entering the encryption password.

Mozilla Help Will Not accept 2nd login account

does Bugzilla require a separate account. When to try my second account and it claimed there was no such account.

That answers the Bugzilla part of the question. But it still doesn't answer the question why I have to have a second account here (different name, password and e-mail address) because when Mozilla sent a notice to reset the password on the first account, the new password was not accepted and "error" messages came up indicating there was already an account with the account name and e-mail.

MERANT ODBC SQL DSN will not accept NT user account

I am having trouble using the Merant driver to create a DSN SQL Load Rule in EAS. I have setup 2 DSN in the essbase server, 1 with NT Authentication checked and 1 without.
When I create the load rule and try to retrieve data.
1. Using the DSN without NT Authentication checked
- Can connect with MSSQL 2005 native account to connect.
- Cannot connect with an NT domain user account even though I have added the NT user into the MSSQL security login
2. Using the DSN with NT Authentication checked
- Cannot login with either the SQL user or NT User.
I need to create a SQL Load Rule and use .msh to schedule a periodic data load from MSSQL into ESSBASE. Any help will be great

This is what I found by someone else;
I know it's probably too late to help with the original poster, but we had this same issue and nothing we tried resolved the problem. Finally, we opened a technical incident with Microsoft and this is the solution that we were provided:
Take backup of below registry key.
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\MachineGuid This key should ideally have the GUID of the machine without curly braces, so {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx} becomes xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
Then delete the braces.
Try to reboot and start the SQL service . If service don’t start then Uninstall and reinstall SQL.
The above solution worked on two separate machines exhibiting this problem.

ICloud is not including my new playlists in the cloud. Not on my Apple TV, but is in my music library on my computer. Suggestions?

I can't get gmail to work on my ipad, I changed my password on my gmail account and the iPad will not accept it!

Try turning the email account off and then turn it on again. Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>select your gmail account>Off. Go to the mail app and then come back to the account in the settings and turn it on again.
If you can't find any other way for the iPad to accept the password, delete the email account and then add it back onto the iPad.

When I try to login my MobileMe account information on my Apple TV it says there is no such account? Anyone else experienced this problem. This is still the same after the OS upgrade.

Those are the obvious candidates to try unfortunately.
So long as you can access itunes store to peruse rentals/YouTube etc you must be connected to the interent.
Ensure your country location is correct in Settings, though it shouldn't really matter, and if you've not done so reboot the AppleTV by unplugging at the mains.
Resets/restoring AppleTv would be other options to try.

More wierd icloud issues: I have just set up an icloud account for my wife. The name, email and password work on the ipad and in the browser mail site. But they do not work on the computer itself. It returns a message saying that the name or password are wrong. I have gone back and confirmed the correctness of the email and name and password on the browser and the ipad. But the computer will not accept it.
The computer is a 1st generation air running Lion.

In Mail Accounts, check the under the 'Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) for your account and make sure the Authentication is set to Password and that your username and password are the same as your incoming mail.

I had a year long CC membership that expired at the beginning of the October.
After realizing that, I attempted to start a free trial of photoshop to work on a project. My Adobe account states that i'm on a trial, but my (Mac) dashboard CC app won't allow me to start the program. I have reinstalled both Creative Cloud and Photoshop CC but still get this message.

If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then you can go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your ID back to the way it was.

I had talked with three people at Apple tech support on the phone, one person in the Apple store in Indianapolis, plus the other places I mentioned. Only the one young man in the Apple store was even able to identify the problem which was the POP vs. IMAP issue. And then like you said he was only able to say he hoped it would be fixed in the next update release. I did call him back this morning and told him about your simple solution, that I had seen it at the Apple forum, and that he might suggest bringing this topic up at the next staff meeting. I also let my Verizon rep know and an agent at Comcast. Something so simple yet it took three days and a lot of frustration to get fixed. Thanks again. You're my hero! ~ Carol Thomas
Also forgot to mention ... I got the iPhone 6 Plus about three weeks ago and did not have this problem. But I did a backup of my iPhone 5S on the computer and then used that backup to restore to my new iPhone. The iPad I did differently and just set it up as a new iPad with no restoring from the old one. That must have made a difference on the phone because it was set up just like the 5S ... as a POP3.
