Go to Tools > Options. Click the Content tab.
In the Content section, next to Load images automatically, click the Exceptions button.
Now, find the site you want to re-allow images for, click it and hit the Remove button.

My friend cannot view my XML pages correctly, is there a setting he is missing?

A friend of mine wanted an easy way to create a help page for his program written in Java. He did not want to get into HTML. I wrote an XSl module and an XML where he could add chapters & text. It works fine on my system using FF or even IE. I am on FF V31 as I believe my friend is as well.
When he clicks on the XML file, he gets a page with everything run togather as if he does not have the XSL file.
Is there a setting or option I have selected in the far past & forgotten about that allows my FF to display the XML file correctly?

When I paste a photo from iPhoto into an email, it pastes a URL that is invalid instead of the picture. Is there a setting I can change to fix this?

It started doing this after my husband had to partition the hard drive to support Windows files. I had no trouble previously. I'm not talking about the Share feature, just simply selecting a photo in iPhoto, clicking "command" then "c" to copy and clicking "command" then "v" in the body of an email to paste the photo. Instead of the photo appearing I now get a URL to the local link on my hard drive, which of course the recipient of the email can't access. Help...

Use the supported methods of getting the Photo into the mail message, via the Share menu or the Media Browser.

Cannot view images in emails

8830 phone from Alltel. When I read an email message that contains an image, all I see is the text of the link to the image and not the image itself. Is there a setting I can change that will let me view images in emails?

This depends on two factors. One your device OS need to be 4.5 of higher and second your carrier need to have BIS 2.5 (which can be considered done by now). If you don't have OS 4.5 of higher then consider upgrading your device OS version.

Cannot view images in emails on Safari or Firefox

I cannot view images in emails on multiple accounts from different sites (Gmail, AOL Mail, Hotmail) on Safari and Firefox on my Macbook. When I click "Show Content" on the emails to unblock the spam protection, either all of the images don't show up and instead I get the "?" boxes or only some of the images show up. Can anyone help me out? I have an important email I need to print out but need to see all the images before doing so (plus, it's just plain annoying). Thanks.

Cannot view images on emails

Sometimes I get emails with images where I could view them ok without a problem. Recently I noticed that I see only a box with a question mark where an image should appear. I turned OFF and ON the "view images" under Mail settings to see if that would help but it didnt. I also repaired permissions on my hard drive but no cigar. I haven't installed anything in a long time so it can't be another software. The only thing I can remember doing is adding another email account to Mail but that was it. It was from a different provider. Can anyone help?

Hi Pat..When I tried to run Fix It the computer pops up a screen that says this trouble shooter does not apply to this computer .The article refers to Internet Explorer 10 and Im running Internet Explorer 11. I did try to see it it would fix my problem but the registry entry does not exist on my computer (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\TabProcGrowth) I can get as far as HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer but I dont have the option to choose Main. I only have the option to choose New Window which does not open up when clicked. Internet Explorer also has no value. Is there anything else I should try?

I have worked on it before and all was fine until I lost the work when it got frozen!

I have a (MOV.) ready clip that I wanted to edit a bit, hence I have imported the clip (import media) and whenever I try to work on it, the black screen prohibits me from doing anything.

So the images show up in the Import pane of Aperture but after you press the Import button they do not show in the project you are importing into?

Do you have iTunes installed on your laptop? If not, I think you will need it to see your laptop photos on AppleTV.
After installation, on the menu bar go to Advanced -> Choose Photos to Share and then select the folders you want.

I just tried this in Photoshop CS3 myself. When I add a text layer, and choose Save, the Save As dialog box comes up and defaults to PSD as was described. But... that is just the default! Go ahead and choose JPEG from the Format pop-up menu down below the file list. JPEG is in there. So what happens to the layers? Notice when you choose JPEG, the Layers box grays out and the "As A Copy" box grays out and is checked (i.e. you cannot uncheck it). This is good, because your Photoshop file with its editable text layer is preserved, and you get a JPEG copy to put in iPhoto.
The second way is, instead of doing Save or Save As, choose File/Save for Web and Devices. This will also give you a JPEG choice, and also create an exported copy. Because this way makes files for the Web, they will be smaller than JPEGs from Save As because they will lack built-in previews (which you don't really need these days) and other extra metadata that take up space.
Either way you get a JPEG you can toss back into iPhoto.

Cannot view images in Mail

Hi All
Strange one, but ever since moving to Snow Leopard on the MacBook Pro, images will not load in the viewing screen of Mail. I have fiddled with the 'Display Remote Messages in HTML' preference, and for a second when I tick/un-tick that box I can see the image in Mail, before it disappears again.
I have never had this issue before...and the only new thing is moving to the MacBook Pro (via Time Machine) with Snow Leopard.
Any help on this would be great, as with my business I am unable to view stats in vital emails.

I've been having this issue since Tiger and cannot fix it (unless I reformat my mac and start from scratch). There has to be a corrupt preference file somewhere. Basically, no matter what option I choose in mail (either display remote images or no), the images NEVER display. It's something within my mail files as when I installed 10.6, I went with a fresh install, but manually copied over my mail and prefs.
It's been an issue for 2+ years. I have an old thread on these boards that never got to the bottom of it then, either. Argh.
