I cannot view my digital copy of Monsters University

i purchased Mosters University from the Disney Store. It came with the dvd and a digital copy. I went to their sight punched in the code for the digital copy......it asked me where i would like to view the digital copy...I chose I tunes.........and few seconds later a pop up massage told me my movie is ready to be viewed now on itunes.....I cant seem to find it

From itunes, select "movies" from the dropdown menu (assuming you're running iTunes 11). It should appear there. If that doesn't work, try searching with spotlight for the filename (the magnifying glass in the upper right corner).

Viewing a digital copy on ATV

I want to buy the Jurassic Park Trilogy to watch on my ATV2. I can either buy it directly in the iTunes store or buy the DVD + digital copy (I don't have Blu-Ray so it would be the SD DVD). I'm a new ATV user and I have only downloaded a few TV shows so far.
I was hoping to get input from other users -- how easy it is to import a digital copy into iTunes and then view on the ATV? Is it a hassle to get it to work?
(I tried Audible once because I love audiobooks but it's been such a problem getting the books to play on my iPhone without using the separate Audible app, so I just don't buy from Audible anymore. I just hate messing with all the DRM crap.)

Yes Audible is a pain you can Airplay the content from itunes to AppleTV.
It is generally simple to import a digitial copy though all I have come across are SD and never HD at present.
You either have a 'digital copy' on a disc which when inserted copies to iTunes and gets tagged and authorised as belonging to your iTunes account - it is DRM protected and won't play without authorising to your computer, or when a disc is inserted it gets you to redeem a code and download from internet this was annoying as it asked for your details etc but I skipped this.
Digital copies once imported play like itunes purchases.
Often I found there's little between the dual play DVD/digital copy and triple play DVD/BluRay/Digital copy cost wise so I buy the triple play given the digital copy is SD I'll then have the Blu Ray if I want HD in the future. If you'll never use the discs you may be better off buying from the itunes store, especially if an HD digital copy is there for purchase.

User cannot view shortcut or copy of instance in Inbox?

Hi, We have a unique requirement where one admin person will send short-cut of the INSTANCE of reports to the End users. We don't want end user to see instance of report( from ADMIN folder) as admin would be scheduling it for different users and one user should not see all the instance as that instance will be for another user. For this we have denied the access "View Document Instance" to user on the folder (ADMIN) where report is stored.
Now if we send shortcut of the instance of this report to User's Inbox then user can not click on INSTANCE to view it. I understand that this is because user does not have access to "View Document Instance" sent by others i.e. admin.
As a resolution to this we thought of sending copy of the report to the user's Inbox. User is not able to see the copy too. Its not hyperlinked for user to click on this.
Now my question is if short-cut and Instance are treated same ( which it seems) or different? If same then how can we give access to Users to see short-cut and/or copy of INSTANCE sent by others without giving them access to see any instance of the Report in ADMIN folder.
We are using Crystal Reports on BOXI R2 SP3 with IIS and on SQL server 2005.

Cannot download my digital copy?

Everytime I try to download any of my movie digital copies, it tells me I need to download iTunes in order to do it. Does anyone know why mome of the websites seem to be able to get through to iTunes? wb, ultraviolet...neither are connecting, or more accurately, recognizing that I already have iTunes on my computer? Any advice?

you may have a problem with your Internet / network connection itself
try turning off your router, wait 5 minutes then turn it back on

I attempted to upload a digital copy of Monsters, Inc and I get an error reading showing the application PowerPc is not supported. Is there anything else I can do?

Apparently some DVDs, especially Disney, continued to use a PowerPC app to obtain the digital copy -- SHEESH!
If your MacBook is old enough, you can install Snow Leopard into a partition or external hard drive and boot over to SL and get your digital copy.

I am having a similar problem. I can't get the digital copy to sync to the ipod touch. The "Create iPod version" under the Advanced menu is grayed out. Any other tips?

Ok. I'm not apple intelligent... But I do OK. Flying with my 2, 3 year old and 5 month old alone.... I purchased the blu-ray combo pack today of despicable me for the kids tomorrow on the plane! So I downloaded iTunes onto my parents computer, authorized it, loaded the digital copy into iTunes (shows up and plays from computer) and synced without problems....so I thought. I cannot find the movie anywhere on my ipad2 tho! I can only find options for songs and some TV programs we have from iTunes. Ok. Only music videos shows up on the videos options. I tap all around and no other options. I looked in advanced options and the iPad/iPod option is greyed out.
Think my iPad synced to my computer.... So for me to sync my computer to my iPad (as in just the movie...) it will erase everything? I feel like I should be ale to drag it over, but I get a red no circle when I try that......

Cannot synchronize my Avengers digital copy to my iPhone 5

I bought the Avengers triple combo (Bluray + DVD + digital copy). Was able to download the digital copy to iTunes without a problem. However I cannot synchronize the movie to my iPhone 5. Anyone has any suggestions?

Only "universal" apps, that are designed to work on both an iPad and an iPhone will transfer to your phone. iPad only apps won't transfer because they are not compatible with your phone.
Also, backing up to iCloud doesn't automatically transfer your apps. To transfer you apps you have to either restore to the entire iCloud backup of your iPad, or, simply download them directly to your phone by opening the App store app on your phone, tapping Updates at the bottom, tap Purchased at the top, tapping Not on This iPhone at the top, then tapping the download icons next to the apps. Note: you must be signed into the Apple ID used to purchase the apps in Settings>iTunes & App Stores on your phone in order to see the purchased apps.

Cannot download digital copy to iTunes.

It says iTunes is down and cannot process my request. I'm able to buy music/apps/movies just fine but the digital copy won't work. I've tried it on three different movies with the same result. Been trying for 3 days now with no luck, thanks for the advise.

We Have managed to lose the insert page that came with our dvd and digital copy. Is there a way i can still download the digital copy without the redemption code?

Cannot Download Digital Copy

I recently received a gift from a friend from Canada - the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince DVD w/ a digital copy, but when I tried to redeem it in the iTunes store, a message appeared saying that the code was only available for use in the Canadian store. Thinking I could solve it by switching to that store, I did so and reentered the code, only to have another message appear saying that my account could only purchase items from the American store. Is there any way I can fix this or download the movie another way?

Any purchases you make will depend on how you signed up with iTunes.
If you signed your account with USA, then you can ONLY purchase items in the USA store and not any other stores from other countries.
I've contacted Apple support on this matter myself in the past and they confirmed that you can only purchase items in your country of residence in which you signed up your iTunes account.
What you can do is have your Canadian friend download the item for you then save it to CD or USB key and then ship it to you!

Trying to put a a digital copy on my itouch (newest generation) and it says it cannot be played on my ipod. ive downloaded the newest version of itunes, it still dosnt work.

i bought a movie that came with a digital copy, and the movie is in my itunes, but my itouch says the the movie cant be played on my ipod. I manually put music on my itouch, it is not synced to a library, and if i click the button sync movies, a message comes up that says all my music will be deleted. how do i fix this? ive updated itunes to the newest version. idk what else to do.

The problem is the format of the movie is not compatible with the iPod. If the movie is in the Movie section of yur iTunes library try the Create Ipod and iPhone Version option in the Advanced tab of iTunes. However, I do not know if you have to sync it to iPod for that option to work. There is the free program Handbrake that can convert them if they are not copy protected.

Digital Copy no longer showing in purchased movies

Last September I redeemed the Digital Copy code that came with the bluray of Star Trek: Into Darkness. The movie downloaded and was also available on all of my devices via iCloud. It has been in my purchased movie section of iTunes until recently, when it just disappeared. Other movies I have redeemed via Digital Copy are still showing up. I have been in touch with iTunes Store support chat and they said that they do not support Digital Copy movies even after they have been redeemed (obviously that was very surprising to me since it is technically an iTunes purchase, but just prepaid). Does anyone have any ideas how I can restore this Digital Copy movie to my account?

It's possible that the distributor isn't allowing redownloading for that film - from iTunes in the Cloud, iTunes Match, and iTunes Radio availability :
1Some previously purchased movies may not be available in iTunes in the Cloud.
You can view the purchase history on your account (which should show the film if was redeemed on that account, my digital redemptions show on mine) by logging into it via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, on your account's screen there will be a 'Purchase History' section with a 'see all' link to its right - unfortunately it's not searchable.
