I cant add any new posts or change anything in iCal

I started to use my iCal a little while ago. First everything work just fine and I added some events and posts in my calender. After a day or two I relaesed that I could not add anything to my iCal.
I can see how a new post is added to the calender but after closing down and reopening again the post is gone. It is not even possible to take away anaything old.It will appere after reopening iCal again. It is like it is locked.
What to do????

im having the same problem and i dont know what to do. i cant add anything at all, i cant double click or press the add event button. and when i delete something it goes away and then comes back after i reopen ical. HELP! i use this for my business and i need to fix this. THANKS!

You have recently upgraded either your AIM, MSN/Live, Gtalk or Yahoo Messenger.
Remove the app you upgraded and your address book will be fine.
There's a glitch in the upgrade of which I understand RIM is aware of and working to fix.

Mac Book Pro 10.6.8 won't accept password anymore. I can't download any new software or change anything to my account

I really have no idea what to do. Thoughts?

    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
     When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
     Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow
     instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Assuming you activated iCloud, try going to Settings>iCloud and make sure Calendars and Contacts are set to ON.

Just updated to iTunes 10.2.1 and now can't add any new songs.

My MACbook is running 10.5.8 and just last week I updated to iTunes 10.2.1 but now I can't add any new songs at all. I go through the motions but when I check the "recently added" checklist, it's blank. The song is never added to my iTunes library. Is there a fix for this?

RESOLVED.
I tried updating iTunes to 10.2.2 thinking this might somehow help me but same situation. Upon further investigation, the set of MP3s I was trying to add didn't have the typical MP3 logo on them. When I tried to delete them from my system, it said "in use by application". I forced a delete. I copied the MP3s again to my MACbook and this time was successful in adding them. Looks like it was a bad set of MP3s and not iTunes.

For unknown reason, I can't add any new email account, I get stuck with when I have entrered my email address and password. In fact, the system says " checking" but nothing is happening. Do you have any idea?

I have two Iphone and 1 Ipad and I have exactly the same problem on all of them.

I finally found the reason, it was linked with my email suffix which was a shorten version. When I put the long one, my email address has been recognized. The strange things is the fact, I have set up earlier the same account in pop instead of imap without any issue. I need to fight with the server name too as my standard incoming server was not recogized on imap (no reason as it works with other system). However, I found my way and it works.

Have you tried a Reset...
Some Users have reported that a Restore has Resolved Issues after the Upgrade...
If a Restart and a Reset do not help... Try a Restore from Backup... if the issue persists Restore as New...

I work for an Enterprise with around 30 devices so far, 5 of them have been upgraded to iOS 5.01 and we are having this issue, the steps below are appearing, these are both on iphone and ipad 2's with exchange 2003:-
- Exchange Calendars not sync'ing, but Yahoo account working fine.
- Create an appointment on the ipad / iphone and this sync's with Exchange.
- Close the Calendar and re-open the appointment disappears, but stay's within Exchange.
- Meetings created within the Exchange Calendar do not synch with the iphone / ipad.
This is starting to cause a lot of issues.

If you Go to the app store on your phone, then go to updates you should have a purchased icon at the top.
Click on that and it will show the apps you have downloaded before as they are stored on the icloud.
Then you should be able to click on the app and redownload it, not sure if it will charge but its worth a try.

I have lost my bookmarks and cannot add any new ones.

My laptop was working normally yesterday. I logged on today at work and the computer seemed to be working fine but my bookmarks was empty. I tried to add my more common sites and it would not add any bookmarks. I tried the trouble shooting tips without success. If I try to restore bookmarks I get "cannot access file" message.

Old problem I know but I cant play any of the songs in my library.tells me cant find original . Have not changed anything apart from going from xp to windows 7.

This support community is a bit new for me. Have read some old entries with the same problem but couldnt see any solutions. Libray shows all the songs ( over 2500) but I cant play any of them. Go into windows explorer and find out where the music is now located - in Windows 7 you have libraries for documents, music, photos and video.

If all the files are in that place it may just be that you have to amend a preference in iTunes:

Advanced
ensure Keep itunes Media organised and Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library are both ticked
Once ticked you will have a bit of a wait while iTunes re-organises the library but then your songs should all be playable again.

Deleted my domain and cant add a new domain

Hi all
I deleted my partner domain name inside the admin panel and when i try to add a new domain i get this error msg....
Error
Domain already exists. Please delete all records associated with this domain before re-adding it.
Can someone also tell me what the Advanced DNS Record is for cause i deleted that to and have no idee how i set this up :-/

Hi,
The issue here was that the domain was being locked for rebranding thus causing this error and preventing you to re-add the domain. I've since escalated this so we can unlocked the rebranded domain and then wipe clear so you can re-add the domain back into the site with all your DNS records applied as normal.
