I cant burn disks on itunes

When I go to burn a disk a message read "disk burner software not found" then the disk does not eject and there is nothing I can do.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

Join the crowd. I was thinking of going back to a previous version, but had heard that could be a problem. Fortunately, I have more than one computer and things work fine there. I'm thinking it could be the burner in the problem computer, but it was working just fine before the upgrade...

Unknown Error 4300, cannot burn disk in iTunes

Good morning,
I am having the problem of not being able to burn a disc in iTunes. I am getting the message of unknown error (4300). It acts like it's burning then I get that message.
I have did set the properties in my computer to burn audio disk and also unchecked includ cd text in iTunes in the burn options as suggested on another thread.
Any other suggestions?

I am also having the same problem. I recently upgraded my system from an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 3800+ and Asus A8N-E motherboard to an Intel Core-Duo E8400 and Asus P5Q motherboard. The DVD drive, an LG GSA 4167b, is the same. iTunes itself runs much smoother now, but for some reason will not burn CDs (unknown error 4300). This is curious, as I have burned many CDs with this drive using iTunes on my old system. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well as removing and old version (4) of a Nero Suite I had kicking around. I cannot seem to find a list of iTunes error codes anywhere and there does not seem to be any real answers to this error code. Yes, the drive is plugged in properly (sATA)

After I did 8.0 update, I cant burn disks anymore. Unknown Error 4265

I tried many of the solutions that people have posted such as changing the preferred speed, Unchecking include cd text, making sure all of my track were mp3 format, doing a cd driver diagnostic and nothing seems to work.

i have a new christina perri music cd, i put it the slot drive and it wont read and keeps ejecting out ?

Not reading any discs or just this particular one? If this one then it could be a marginal quality disc possibly interfacing with a marginal issue on the drive. If many discs then it could be the drive. Optical drives seem to be going sooner and sooner these days and 4 years, while early, is not unheard of. Sometimes a drive cleaning disc can clear out fuzz but in my one experience it didn't help much.
Sometimes restarting a computer can clear up mysterious issues.

Cant burn tunes to disk.Error code 4020

As of yesterday, I cant burn anymore songs to disks.I receive an error code 4020.It sounds like it is going to burn the songs but then after 2 minutes nothing happens and it aborts.Is it possible it is a problem with I-Tunes 7.1? Should I go back to an earlier version??

Have tried everything in forum and cant burn cds or import them. itunes says to reinstall but doesn't fix problem.

Hi. I have had a message each time I open Itunes. It has varied but includes the following:
Itunes was not properly installed. If you wish to import or burn cds you must reinstall itunes.
Itunes helper not installed correctly - Error 7
Itunes is not the primary __ for CDs/DVDs. Please reinstall itunes
THE REGISTRY SETTINGS USED BY THE ITUNES DRIVERS FOR IMPORTING AND BURNING CD'S AND DVD'S ARE MISSING. THIS CAN HAPPEN AS A RESULT OF INSTALLING OTHER CD BURNING SOFTWARE. RE-INSTALL ITUNES -
I went through tons of steps that I found online including all of the steps to Fix Gear Drivers. I did the registery steps, I updated my CD & DVD drivers, I uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes, Bonjour, Quicktime and all else in the long list.
Nothing has helped. What else can be done? The message has changed as I have done all of the self-fix steps but it won't let me burn disks still and still get errors.

FYI, the step that has me add back Upperfilters causes Itunes to no longer recognize the drives so I can't do this step. I have tried everything listed.

Failed loading CD / DVD drives, error -43. Try doing a repair install on iTunes from the “Add or Remove Programs” control panel.
I've tried the repair step using Add or Remove Programs too and no help.

I've had the same problem. I notice that my Superdrive justs looks at the disc for a bit and then spits it out.
When I boot from my clone of my 10.4.10 setup, I can mount and burn a CD-R in iTunes, although the names of the tracks and disc are screwed up (while the actual data is correct).
But in 10.4.11 and Leopard (also testing that on an external drive) the blank disc won't mount at all.

Cant burn music onto cd from iTunes

Hi, I have no idea about computers or any of the technical jargon ive seen so could someone please help me in laymens terms! I bought my imac in november 2011 to give you an idea of what one, and its their bottom one. When i try and burn cds through itunes it does the first few songs then says medium write error. They are brand new sony cd-r 80 min discs. It has been doing it a little while so got these new discs and it still does it!
Anyone have any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated?

Are you selecting it in the music menu, or the videos menu?

hmmm. i went to Toshiba to check for any available updates for your Satellite ... but they split out the downloads by subcategories for the A105, and so i'm not sure what your precise model is.
