I cant change my monitor back from a (non existent) second screen to my main screen

I change my settings for my monitor in error so now when i load up my pc it doesnt show anything cause it thinks its on a second screen the pc does not have a second screen.

Which OS are you using? I am using Win 8.1. When I choose to display my screen on a second monitor only, it tries to locate the second monitor but can't locate it. Then, it reverts to my main screen. For this reason, I believe you may have a different problem.
What is the full model of the computer and monitor?

Creative zen V+ still not working after coming back from assistance for the second ti

hallo, what thje hell is happening with creative Zen V+ I got it back from assistance for the second time and it's still not working!!!!!!!!!!! I want my money back now, I'm gonna spam the whole of the internet with this unfunny joke, what the hell I'm suppoised to do I really fed up, since I bought the unit it worked for less than one month and for another one it's been back to the assistance for two times!!!! And still it's not working!!!! Now let me tell you this creative zen V + is a worthless, costly, cheap piece of crap, and I mean crap, what the hell am I supposed to do now Send it back for the third time 249 euros for this crappy piece of cheapo plastic Please is it allowed me to send it back and having in change some olther player I don't mean it to be trendy or flashy or all of the usual marketing **bleep** coming with these, I just want a player that actually play my music, a player I can load all my music without the application to freeze, the player to freeze and me having to format and reboot again and again. For the Zen V, as it states on the box, you need Windows XP Service Pack or 2, or Windows Vista. You also need Windows Media Player 0 or . As long as you have that, you should be fine there.
You may also have a corrupted file that is causing the problem. Try not transferring them all at once, transfer it in blocks instead. If one block fails to transfer, try and narrow it down and see if it's a specific file in that block causing the problem.
When you try it on another PC, do be sure that PC meets the system requirements, especially the Service Pack if it's Windows XP. You'd be shocked how many times people try it on a 2nd computer, get angry when it doesn't work, call tech support, and find out the 2nd PC doesn't even have SP on it.
All else failing of course contact Support. They can't help you if you don't let them know what's going on, and if you don't yell at them they'll do their absolute best, trust me.

I have a multiple page form with a barcode on each form. I created a separate collection for each barcode. The auto generated code looks fine and has the correct collection created, however I still get the error, Paper Forms Barcode error "Your script uses objects from a non-existent collection".
I'm not sure what is wrong and I don't know how to fix it. Anyone else run into this?

You will need to create a shared folder in Dropbox, then populate that with what ever folders you need to organize the files. It appears the DropBox app,will not handle this, but you can do, it by logging in to you account via Safari. Once the folders are created, they will show up in the app. Likewise with designating the folders as shared. Anyone you wish to share with will need a Dropbox account. (using the public folder will not work since links out it are for files only, not folders. An odd restriction, but it is what it is).
IF you have copies of the files on a PC, you will find that will be the easiest place to upload them from. If they are only in iBooks on the iPad, you will need to synch and use the file management function to copy them off. not sure if you can synch them back over to DropCopy within iTunes (never tried it).
DEpending on your needs, a couple of apps to look into are iCab Mobile (a browser), and GoodReader (doc viewing and management app). Both integrate well with DropBox.

No need to shout - we are not hard of hearing.
Many users have lost photos while preforming a restore from backup or upgrading the iOS. Recall, only photos in the camera roll are backed up to iCloud. There is a way to turn backups for camera roll on/off, perhaps these users had camera roll turned off.
See:
Settings>icloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage, tap the device's name and on the next screen, be sure Camera Roll is turned on.
IMPORTANT...
Photos should be regularly synced to a computer (like you store photos from a digital camera) using either USB via iTunes (on a mac use iPhoto or Aperture to move them to an album) or using photo stream. If you have been doing that, then you can sync those photos back to your device.
If you haven't been saving photos except relying on iCloud to store them in a backup, then that is risky, as many users have discovered. I'm afraid I have no advice in this case - there is no "cure".

Extra monitor w/laptop in office, when out of office how do I prevent Firefox from displaying on the non-existant 2nd screen?

When I am out of my office using my laptop, upon launching Firefox, it displays all of the tabs from the previous session on the non-existent extra monitor which is set up as a screen extention for when I am in my office. All of the other programs that I park on the extra monitor (Outlook for example) display on the laptop's screen when the extra monitor is not attached. Is this a bug? Or, must I not save my open tabs when exiting Firefox if I am going to use the laptop w/o the monitor?

My iPhone 5S prompts me for my password to an Apple ID email that no longer exists as an account. How do I change my Apple ID address without having to change the primary address to a non-existent email account?

I cannot sign into icloud on my phone because the Apple ID is an email account that has been deactivated and deleted. How can I change my Apple ID without having to change the primary email address to this non-existent account? If I did so, I wouldn't be able to access the account to receive the verification email. To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should not need to verify the old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

HT1918 I cant change my country location from Australia to UK

I have the huge sum of 0.88 cents left in my account which I cant get rid of (apparently you have to have zero funds left in your account before you can change countries). I cant top it up either in order to buy something for the exact amount to clear the account as my UK bankcard is not accepted as a valid form of payment in the Australian iStore.
A proper catch 22, serves me right for moving back to grey, wet UK!

Cant change my volume level from the icon

My speaker icon is on the bottom of the screen, worked well before (right click and change volume up n down), now it fixed at 45 %. Tried right click but nothing happen. (right click worked with everything else).
My notebook is a year old Presario CQ62

This may have nothing to do with it, but I was curious as to the effect on speed of the script, so I ran the two scripts below. On my old souped-up 7500 (900MHz), the first script, with the "say" command outside the tell block, yielded an average of 111.7 ticks; the average for the second script was 110.1 ticks. So the difference appears to be about 1/30th of a second, insignificant for a one-time event (but maybe not if the routine is repeated numerous times).
(By way of comparison, my 2.7 GHz machine averaged about 80 ticks on both scripts. That's about half a second faster, and is noticeable.)

If I have two tables in Oracle database:
Table_1 has column id, c1, c2
Table_2 has column id, c1, c2
If I run the following select statement, it will give error, because column c3 does not exist:
select c3 from table_2;
However, if I run the following update statement, it run successfully with error. It shows, for example, 10 rows updated:
update table_1 t1 set t1.c2 =
(select t2.c3 from table_2 t2
where t2.id = t1.id);
Could someone explain to me what happens?

Data loaded from a non existing PSA

Hi all,
I have this problem:
I am loading an infocube from a PSA with a DTP.
The problem is that data in the infocube is duplicated when reading data from that PSA.
In addition if all PSA requests are deleted data arrives well to the infocube not duplicating registers.
It is working as if there would be a PSA hidden associated to the datasource.
Does anybody know how to delete PSA data? (not requests as I have deleted all)
Program RSAR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY does not work...

there ara no PSA requests. I have deleted all since 1900 manually and via process chain and we need a full upload, not a delta one.
The problem is that even there ara no PSA requests, somewhere data is stored and the DTP is finding them and loading them to the infocube.
We have found the PSA BIC/B00001930000 and would like to try deleting its data (not requests as they are all yet deleted)

Congrads! It's always nice to hear something positive from Apple. They don't have time to do it right the first time but they have plenty of time to it over again. Either way, its stories such as yours that keeps me from canceling my MBP order which scheduled for 30 March shipment. If it takes longer I will be happy to wait. Reason: I'm praying for a serial number: W8610xxx or grater, meaning manufacturing date of: "86" = 2006 / "10>" meaning week ten or greater in the production cycle. I would be even happier if shows week "11" or "12" in the suffix since Apple has identified units with serial numbers of: W869xx… or below that are more susceptible of having a defective “inverter” w/noise that emits from the upper right corner of the keyboard. This valuable information comes from another Discussion Member who got lucky with an honest and knowledgeable tech support dude at Apple.

System preferences i cant change my photo, the ball keeps turning

Hi, when i go to my system preferences to change my sheensaver, the ball start to turn and turn. I have shut down the computer, and restarted, still can't get anything working. Please help me.

Look at the Apple menu > About This Mac, it will tell you the OS X version.
If 10.6 you will need the OS X 10.6 install disks, stick #1 in and reboot the machine holding the c or option/alt on a wired or built in keyboard to boot from the disk. Second screen in there is a Utilites menu to reset the password.
Like Matt said for 10.7-10.8.
And if you don't have the 10.6 disks, there is a Single User mode method here

I am using the following code:

it is working,but when i press BACK button from selection screen to program it is showing ERROR IN FLUSH 4 Error.
