guys can't connect my iphone 3gs in my pc it happen recently when i updated it to 5.1.1 iOS my pc cant detect my phone
when i connect it via usb NOTHING HAPPENS!!!! not even a notification bar guys please help i have this problem like 2 months now i can't pass my pics in my pc so please help......

I have a 3gs. Just did the newest software update 6.1.6 and now it wont detect any wifi at all. Very frustrating

There is no cure as there's nothing wrong with your phone. iPhone's don't have the BT profile to transfer files.

The screen you're seeing on your iPhone indicates it is in recovery mode. Now since the device is not appearing in iTunes on your PC, first follow the steps in this article:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows

After following those steps, you should be able to restore your iPhone.

well i have tried restarting it and that didnt work i have connected it to itunes but it just tells me i dont have a sim card in the phone (which i do) and i have tried restoring it and that didnt do anything and my error message said "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavalible"

Not a good sign. Try forcing the phone into recovery mode & restoring it. If this fails, make an appointment at an Apple store:
Turn your phone off. Cant restore my Iphone 3GS.. HELP!

I cant restore my Iphone 3GS. I get the restore message, pushed the restore button and the progressbar starts. Then I get the message that an "unknown problem has occured" after a while in the process. When I push the ON/OFF button I get the connect-to-Itunes-picture and the same restore message pops up. I've tried everything.

I am experiencing the same issue and could use some advice:
Yesterday I plugged my Iphone 3GS into my computer and I selected in Itunes to update to the latest IOS 5.1.1.
Before I did this the iphone worked correctly, and after I did this it will not let me access the apps at all. I went to the Apple store and the rep told me I needed to have a working AT&T sim installed in it to complete the upgrade. I went to the AT&T store and had them put one of their working sim card in and it would not work. The AT&T rep said he has seen several people with Iphone 3GS who updated to the latest IOS 5.1.1 whos phones will not recognize the sim card and thus will not let you get to the apps.
Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

your phone is in recovery mode, which means your data is already lost. hopefuly you've been keeping regular backups

Are you running Leopard on your Mac, Laurie?
If so, try instead updating to iTunes 10.6.3.25. (That supports earlier models of iPhones running iOS 6, even though it can't run the new iPhone 5s.)

Perhaps Bob will see this thread, he is the professor in these cases.
You do not use a WEP password but wpa/wpa2 on router and equipment.
All equipment connects to WiFi, but for your iPad.
Even with all other equipment WiFi off, you cannot connect your iPad.
Your iPad connects to other WiFi nets correctly.
All resets etc done on iPad and Router.
Still I am not sure it is your router for sure, frustrating...
I want to test 2 other things:
1. in your iPad, set everything OFF in Settings/Cellular, turn off/then/on your WiFi, and see whether it will still not connect...
2. If that does not do it: disconnect the router as well as the modem from the power, for 15 seconds, then reconnect the modem, let it fully start, then reconnect the routet let it fully start, turn of your WiFi in iPad, then on, and see whether it will connect.

ITunes Crash And Close Everytime Try To Connect To iPhone 3GS

Hi as you see on my profile I'm using HP desktop 64bit windows vista home premium. So i download iTunes 64bit and installed it no problem on my system, Then connect my iPhone 3gs and iTunes start to making backup for first time, Then i update it to new version. After that when ever i connect my iphone to PC and try iTunes it first start to recognize the iphone but like after loading the i iTunes going to Stop,Hanged,Crash and iTunes close!
I even uninstall iTunes then restart then install fresh one but still didn't work. My guess is that i should reset my iPhone to factory maybe.
Oh but away the iPhones battery is awful. This my first Purchase on Apple, Let see how good this company is!
Ok sync causing the problem on iTunes! I cancel the sync on iPhone when trying to connect to iTunes and didnt crash. As soon i start sync the iTunes crash.

disable your anti virus/anti trojan software close and restart itunes and try again...
if it is still crashing disable your firewall software close and restart itunes and try again...
if no anti virus/anti trojan or firewall software is running try a driver re-install
