I cant connect my phone to itunes when i plug in the usb why isnt it working?
I tried both my iphones and none of them seem to be sycing in with my itunes on my desktop.

When I connect my ipod to a usb port on my computer, I can see it in my computer as a drive for a few seconds and then it disappears. It can be seen under devices but as a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it. If I run trouble shoot, it states windows is disconnecting this device.
I can see it in itunes as a device. However, this is a brand new computer, running windows 7. My last one bit the dust in mid use. I want to save the songs on my ipod and to do that I believe I need to be able to see the files on the ipod.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Great Troubleshooting on your own so far!. (If you got 2 PC and 2 iPod would be much easier, some of the people in this community has more than 2 of each.)
Hope you did not connect it to a USB Hub, the sync cable must be plug in directly to a USB2 port at the back of the Desktop Computer.
If you have a spare Notebook, with iTunes, connect it to the Notebook, to check if the iPod is working or hung.
Can you iPod run and play songs, when disconnected from the PC? (Sorry, for just asking the obvious)
Anyway, just hard reset your iPod, so that we can start from scratch
1. if your iPod is hung, reset it by pressing Menu and Center button for at least 10 secs till the Apple logo, comes on. (this won't delete your songs in the iPod, if they are not corrupted))
2. Connect it back to your Notebook or Desktop.
if your iPod screen is dead, try charging the battery by connecting it to another computer. if it doesn't connect to successfully to another computer, it may need servicing.

iTunes has quit recognizing my iPhone as a device. The computer still dings at me when I plug in the USB cable, but the program is failing to show my phone as a connected device. How do I fix that??

Now it will not turn on. I have tried all the reset instructions with no luck. Neither iTunes nor any of my computers will recognize it when I plug it in. Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

I have just started using a windows7 64 bit machine which is an LG emachines model. I have latest version of iTunes installed. When I connect the usb charger it says I need digitally authorised drivers and won't recognise the iPod. Does anyone know of a fix?

I installed the latest update to my phone. Half way through it asked to connect to itunes. After updateing it had some type of error and wanted me to restore the phone. After restoring, another error box popped up and said that it could not be restored. Now it won't connect to itunes or my computer at all and is nothing but the black start up screen with the apple logo, or it's just a white screen. What happened?
DFU mode? How do I do that? So far the only thing I can do is hold down both buttons to power it on and nothing is on the screen and it wont reconize on my computer....

My iphone4 do not sync with my itunes when i plugged in the cable
my iphone 4 couldnt sync with my itunes even though my iphone is plugged in. it is charging and i can access the photos through windows folders but the itunes show nothing on the tab bars. i have no idea whats wrong with the itunes or my iphone. previously i could synced and stuff, but after i update my itunes to the latest update and it couldnt sync my iphone anymore. i checked my 'preferences', everything seems fine. 'prevent iphones from automatically sync' is unchecked. so please help me.

My computer basically ignores my iPod Nano 5th generation when I plug in the USB cable.
My iPod is always fully charged when I try to plug it in and I have the latest iTunes installed. My computer gives me nothing, not an error or a pop-up. Nothing. My iPod seems to be charging when plugged in, but even when my iPod stops charging, my computer does nothing. I cannot add music, books, videos, nothing. I've tried resetting both my computer and my iPod, uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, putting the iPod into "Disk Mode", but nothing seems to work. I really am at a lost at what to do from this point. If you could help that would be most appreciated.
Alright, guys, I found a solution! Hurray! I bought a new USB cord/cable and it works perfect now. So YAY!

When i plug in the usb guitar cable the audio in my headphones goes away
when i input the guitar to usb interface it asks to connect but calls it a headphone. it was working but now the sound doesnt come out of the computer or headphones
Go to GB's audio prefs and make sure that your interface is set as the audio input but the internal audio is set as the audio output.

Elements 13 - top menu causes mouse to become erratic
