I cant delete Mozilla History file. I follow all the guidelines but it will not delete it

My Mozilla keeps all the History even up to past June and it will nto let me delete them no matter what i do. I follow the process described below but it will nto work. Even when i open the History pane on the left side, it will not let me delete them manually

First, click on tools on the main menu bar and then click on "Clear Recent History"
The pulldown box allows you to choose the time range to clear, with the options of last hour, last two hours, last four hours, today and everything.
After selecting your required options click on the clear now button.

When i follow this process nothing happens. History is still there intact

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

TS1369 After updating iTunes this week Windows 8 recognizes the iPod but does not offer an option to open with iTunes. iTunes does not recognize iPod Touch. Have followed all the steps but without success. Is there a solution with iTunes?

I followed all the instructions on the suggested page. Many files in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\ and C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\ could not be deleted. Message said ""Cannot delete files: It is being used by another person or program"' but could not find iPodService.exe in task manager (also, the "Cannont delete ... " did not mention iPodService.exe).
Deleted all that I could. Reinstalled iTunes. Still same result. iTunes and computer both recognize my old iPod. Only the computer recognizes iPod Touch.

I wanted to host my iWeb pages on Dropbox. I followed all the instructions but it still doesn't work.

I guess in October of 2013, Dropbox changed their program so you don't need a public folder to place your files in. I followed the instructions on numerous youtube and google result sites on how to do this. I thought I followed all the instructions but it still doesn't work. I downloaded Dropbox and configured it as instructed. I created a domain at .tk and when I put the URL in my browser, I see that .tk does go to my dropbox index html but it is a blank screen. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I would ask this to dropbox it could be they have blocked the option to avoid being used as free web hotels

Doublechecking. Have you also tried a complete uninstall of both iTunes and all the other related software components and then a reinstall? If not, try the instructions from the following document:

Adobe retired this Feb 17, 2014.
This app sent content to and got content from the web based services of "CreatPDF" and "PDF Pack".
These are subscription services out in "the cloud". When the app was live you had to be online and signed into your account. The user forum for CreatePDF has a DOC that speaks to the app removal.

I installed google chrome and added it to my applications folder and it works but my desktop still has the icon of the chrome volume/disk and when i right click it gives an option to eject but it will not delete how can I get rid of it?

Drag it to the trash icon in your dock. This is a disk image, and you need to "eject" it, to get rid of it.

You can go to icloud.com, open Mail, click on the gear shaped icon on the upper right and choose preferences, go to the Vacation tab and set up an auto response saying that the account is no longer in use. Then go to Settings>iCloud and turn Mail to Off on your device and stop using the account.
Incoming email to the account will receive your vacation auto response, and eventually the mailbox will fill up and no longer receive mail at all.

I created a partition on my iMac drive. I have trashed the files that were in the partition but I can not trash the icon. I tried with Disk Utility. Any ideas?

If I understand correctly, the partition will still be on the disk and therefore mounted on the desktop. You would need to remove that partition to remove the icon.
Be careful if you try this, don't upset the main Macintosh HD partition or you may lose the OS and your files.
And always have a full tested backup of your system before modifing disk partitions.
