So I have been restoring my iPhone5 from a backup for about 3 hours now however iTunes still says that it is going to take over 24 hours to complete the restore process and the progress bar hasn't moved much at all. I feel like something has gone wrong somehow and it shouldn't take this long to complete. Is there something I can do to speed up this process or do I just have to try to wait it out? I'm scared to just unplug my phone and try again since it might screw something up.

iPod touch lost in snow 2 mos, found yesterday songs played ok today charged fully but lost charge very quickly. What can I do to try to fix this myself before sending it in for repair?Try:

- Restore from backup. See:

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Games on the pogo site wont open after I downloaded Lion. I don't have any problem with any other site I go to - just pogo and i've never had a problem before I downloaded lion, is there something I can do?
I'm having the same problem with Pogo now that I've installed Lion. I used your link,ds store, to check plug-ins and it said I needed to update my Java applet. However, the download screen says that updates for Apple are only available inside Software Updates. That's the first thing I checked when I started having problems, and I have no pending updates to install. I guess that means we're stuck until Apple releases update fixes for us in the next day or two (if they stick to their previous pattern). I also had my Mail application freeze and had to Force Quit. I must say, this is the buggiest OS upgrade I've ever installed from Apple! I'm having my family members and friends hold off on purchasing Lion until these issues are corrected. Is there a preferred way for us to contact Apple to register our issues with Lion so they can track these glitches?

Well, at least it's good that there are no hardware issues - that's a relief and one problem area that you can check off.
OK, so let's summarize so I can get a clear picture of what's going on. If you try to download something from your web browser, what happens? What if you try to download a small utility such as "EasyFind" from the App Store? Or is the problem specifically linked to downloading updates?
I'm just trying to get a feel for if anything really means anything?
Usually what you download from, say, a website, goes into your Downloads folder. It's the default folder for things like that. Apps from the App Store are downloaded to your Applications folder. And software updates are generally, I believe, held in a temporary folder so that they can be installed (in many cases) when you're asked to restart.
It could be something as simple as repairing permissions on your start-up disk. You're running Snow Leopard, right? (That's what your profile says.) Try opening Disk Utility from your Utilities folder, selecting your boot disk and try verifying permissions. If you come up with some errors, try repairing permissions. After that, go ahead and verify your boot disk - you won't be able to repair it at this point, but at least you can see if you have any errors.
Let me know about the anything and get back to me after you've verified and repaired permissions and verified your boot drive.

For sound problem:
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack or other hardware problem.

Cant download anything on U530 touch ultrabook
Well i bough this laptop 2 days ago, I was so excited about it until.. i tried to download a SONG, and I couldnt. Then i tried downloading sevral games and programs, and it wouldnt download. My download starts at 560 kb/s and it gradually goes lower till it reaches 0 b/s and ruins the download. I though it was a problem with the internet provider, but I tried with other WIFI connections, and the problem is still there. Please is there any solution? A laptop that cant download anything from internet shouldnt be called a laptop

I’m sorry to hear that download speed is automatically decreasing in your U530 Laptop, I suggest you to re-install the relevant Wired/Wireless drivers. If the issue occurs while using Wireless, please check the issue connecting with wired connection and even if the issue persists, Re-install the browser in the computer and let me know the findings.

I have been having lots of problems with my iPad 2 freezing since I downloaded the IOS7. It freezes for several minutes each time this happens. Is there something you can suggest that I do to eliminate this problem in the future?
First thing to try is a reset: Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

I am getting the same message when I try to install the latest version of iTunes, I am running on Windows Vista Home Premium. I have tried so many different things to try to correct this and have now completly unistalled it from my laptop..... Now I have no iTunes what-so-ever on it and still can't install it. I found an older versin of iTunes and it installed without any problems, but I can't access it because my library was created on a newer version! Talk about frustrated..... WE NEED HELP!!!!!

Have you got some kind of addon to download though such things do not mess with downloading but it can be point to check too. Having the latest version of firefox will also help and clear all cookies and if problem don't fade away then reset the browser or just re-install it.
